Title: Exceptional Tour and Outstanding Staff!
We were extremely satisfied with the E-Fatbike Tour from Nordic Odyssey. The experience itself was fantastic, but what truly set it apart was the amazing staff. They went above and beyond, not only during the tour but also by offering invaluable recommendations about auroras, the town, and local activities. It was clear that their priority was customer satisfaction rather than just selling something. For example, they gave us honest advice about the best nights to see the auroras and the best hikes to explore—not trying to upsell, but genuinely ensuring we had the best experience possible in Rovaniemi. This level of care and professionalism made a huge difference and added so much to our trip. Highly recommend this company for their exceptional service and genuine dedication to their customers. We’d book with them again without hesitation!

        Highly recommend, skilful guide
We had the most incredible experience hunting the northern lights. Our guide Justine was very friendly and helpful and had great knowledge of the lights. She knew exactly where to go and allowed us to instruct how we wanted to spend our time. Her photography skills are very good. I encourage anyone with young kids to book in a private tour as it can be freezing temperatures so nice to have the flexibility to control your night.

One of its kind experience, LOVELY
We had a day visit to this unique hotel which is made of ice, our family of 4. They organised a bus pick up from city centre, close to where we were staying. The Ice Hotel is an experience of its own, a hotel which is hand made by expert artists, takes 3 months to erect and then melts down in March every year! There are 50 rooms of various looks and sizes, which are given to guests at night and open to visitors in day (like us). One has to see this to believe it, every room is specially crafted with thematic artistic ice carving, everything is made of snow. They have a restaurant, bar, Chappel and even a sauna! Beautiful experience!

Your perfect experience - well-informed guides, flawless execution and lots of fun
We booked a tour to the Korouoma Canyon to hike to multiple frozen waterfalls. When coming to the office for pickup, the staff is kind and anticipates potential wishes (availability of toilets, additional clothes etc). Our guide picked us up on time and with a wide smile to start the tour by a 1-1.5h drive to the canyon. Being out on an icy day, all of us got small spike-sets to be fixed under the shoes - really helpful (especially when seeing other groups of less prepared operators slip and slide). Though the tour was bi-lingual, our guide managed to make it fun for everyone sharing knowledge about the surrounding environment such as plants or the region. Towards the end of the tour, we had a nice lunch with a variety of small things we haven’t seen with other tours - be surprised. Can highly recommend, especially if more interested in an adventure!

        Great experience!!
We had Leo as our guide for two tours: the Korouoma Canyon hike yesterday and the husky adventure today. He was amazing both times. Leo is super attentive, helpful, and knows what he’s doing. He made sure everything went smoothly and that we all had a great time. As someone who works in tourism, it’s great to see young guides like Leo showing how capable and professional they can be. Not only him, but the whole team that assisted us through the whole process. It’s awesome to see the industry giving opportunities to young people and proving that they can deliver excellent experiences as well. I really connected with that since I’m also young and working in tourism. Thanks also to Emilie that was with us on the tour and took amazing professional pictures since we didn’t have our camera working that day - it was really appreciated. We highly recommend Leo as a guide and are so so glad we got lucky to do these tours with him. Thanks Leo, and please come to Brasil!!! 😜

Reindeer and Husky adventure in autumn
I booked the Reindeer & Husky Tour in Summer/Autumn for me and my husband and WOW we had an incredible time! We weren't sure what to expect with reindeer since they don't like to be petted, but we got to feed them! So cool. The husky cart ride (not a sled because snow had only just started to fall for the season) was so much fun - my husband loved driving the cart. My favorite part was the time we were given to pet and cuddle the dogs after the ride. Our guides all day were helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!

        Amazing and educational!
We did two tours with Nordic Odyssey today: The reindeer farm and Rauna Zoo with Pierre and the legends of Finland tour with Kemi. They were both amazing! So knowledgeable, so friendly, and really cared about the experience they were giving you as their guest. There were so many tour options to choose from and I am so glad that we picked Nordic Odyssey to learn more about the area of Rovaniemi and to have the guides share their knowledge and love for this beautiful piece of Finland. From the transportation to the experience itself we couldn’t have asked for a better company. If you want a tour that has friendly, knowledgeable guides I definitely recommend Nordic Odyssey!!!

        Memorable experience in Rovaniemi, Lapland
My colleague and I thoroughly enjoyed the Northern Lights photography hunting experience with Leo on 7 October. Leo captured beautiful photos. We were also treated to a light show spanning all colours of the spectrum. It was truly a memorable night beyond checking off a bucket list item. Beyond the Northern Lights tour, we also did the e-fatbike ride to reindeer farm, husky cart ride, sauna in the wilderness, Pyhä-Luosto National Park hike with Amethyst mining experience, Finnish Legends & Tales night, and a day trip to the Ranua Wildlife park. It was been an amazing experience going on tours with our guides (Hervé, Quintin, and Leo to name a few) who were very knowledgeable and passionate about the land and the outdoors. For someone who lives in a country at the equator, this experience was worth the cold, the dollars, and a very long travel up North. I would definitely recommend Nordic Odyssey for first-time travellers and those who prefer small group tours (:

        Amazing tour
Excellent tour. Everything was well organised and communicated, and our tour guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Despite the rain, the hike up to the mine was beautiful and there was shelter, hot coffee and a fire at the top. The mine itself was incredible, the staff were fun and enthusiastic, and of course mining for our own ameythsts! Due to the weather we didn't get much of a view, however this tour was still the highlight of our trip! Highly recommend.

Adventure in Finland not to be missed
We took a two day overnight e fat bike tour - visited a small local family reindeer farm and stayed overnight in a cabin on a lake. It was easily the highlight of our time in Finland. The mountain biking was definitely challenging- but can be adapted to meet anyone’s needs. Our guide took us off the beaten path which was resulted in an exciting adventure that we will remember for time to come. The reindeer farm visit felt authentic and we enjoyed our meal there. And the highlight of the trip was staying at the small rustic cabin on a lake with traditional sauna - which was a reward after a long day of biking. This is definitely an experience that we highly recommend! Nordic Odyssey took care of all details and supplies and our guide was great!

Stunning scenery and an experienced tour guide
We had not much experience in fire making and I learnt from this tour guide Herve. He was a very patient and an experienced tour guide. The wilderness was stunning in autumn and we felt refreshed after this hike. Highly recommended 👍👍👍

        Beautiful Northern lights experience
It was the my best Northern lights experience so far. The tour guides were very experienced. The knowledge of Northern lights by this tour guide is immense. He explained the Northern lights phenomena with great details as so how it occurs. Well done! Will recommend to my friends and relatives. 5 stars

Fantastic informative guided trip getting to know nature in Lapland
Our guide, Justine, was fantastic and answered all our questions we had about Finland (history, traditions, culture, animals, saunas, etc.) whilst driving us to all the locations. Starting with an excellent visit to a Reindeer farm (thank you Juho for sharing your experience as a reindeer farmer) where we got to feed them. Then a stop for a fire cooked lunch and tips on lighting/cooking. Next visit was to a dog sleigh team (Greenland Polar Dogs) and their passionate owners. Included cuddling puppies. Finishing the day in a bear hide where we saw 2 bears, both splashing in the water and eating the fish provided by the guides. We also watched some beautiful white tailed eagles swooping down and back into the trees. We had a great night's sleep in the hut (poor Justine had to listen to us both snoring all night!). In the morning we had a dip in a beautiful lake to clean ourselves (amazing!). We got to the wildlife park early enough to see a Polar Bear; Moose; Wolves; a Wolverine; Boar; Owls; Arctic Fox; and more. Nordic Odyssey were brilliant in their communications prior to and during the trip.

That was the absolute best choice to do. We were only 8 people so really a good geoup size. You don't need much skill to drive the sled. It was so much fun. The dogs had a blast and afterwards they were eager to get as many pets as possible. After that we sat in a hut, got grilled sausages and our guide told us anything we wanted to know about the huskies.

During our stay in Lapland, Nordic Odyssey organised all our activities.
These are: sled dog, night snowshoeing, sauna and private Finnish bath and finally the snowmobile trip.
All were exceptional because authentic. We were always in a small group, the hallmark of this agency and it is a real plus because we were able to exchange and learn a lot from our guides.
During the snowmobile we covered 2h to 3 guide snowmobiles, an unmissable experience with vivid sensations.
A little more: the guides picked you up and took you back to your accommodation during each activity which was very pleasant.

We recommend this agency for your activities!

After a short drive, we arrived at a huskie farm. Our sleds were ready and after some instructions, we went for a walk with the dogs about twenty minutes! Superb moment!!!
Then the dogs ask for lots of hugs and they're too sweet! Just like Antoine 😉 who told us about their life around a good wood fire with a grilled sausage 😊
      Topissime!!!

Very good time spent during this activity which was rich in adventures, the weather was magnificent, the temperatures very low. The sensations are there and the view throughout the course is worthy of a postcard.

The activity takes place in pairs, a sled driver and a passenger with the possibility of exchanging roles halfway through. Once on arrival, opportunity to pet the dogs and end with a moment of discussion around a fire with a snack.

Thanks to Nordic Odyssey and big ups to Justine who was excellent in supervising the activity, sharing information and concerned about the well-being of the participants (cold, safety, etc.)

      I highly recommend.

We had a lot of fun driving/riding the Husky sleigh. The dogs are really keen on running and I was surprised by how fast they were. The corners were a bit of a challenge as it was really the dogs that decided where to go but the guides knew the dogs well and kept a close eye on things. The dogs were so gentle when we got to meet them, after the run. Also it was really nice to warm up by the fire and have a sausage before heading back to Rovaniemi. Loved the whole experience. Our guide was Gabriel. He was very nice and attentive.
