But honestly, this was just a minor issue compared to the overall amazing experience I had. I’m already eager to recommend your services to my friends and colleagues. On top of that, I realized how much I love the South Island—I’m hoping to visit Queenstown and Mount Cook National Park next, perhaps while participating in some business-related community events. We had very limited time in Egypt after attending a conference in Cairo so decided on a 3 day cruise on the River Nile and chose Charlie The Traveler for our customized tour. We had just an absolutely marvelous time! From the moment that guide Hesham picked us up at the airport and throughout the full 3 days, we were simply delighted. Hesham was so great to work with us and adjust the itinerary according to our abilities and physical well being. He told us which sites were very important and which ones were closed so that we could choose. He never acted hurried, or tried to push us. And yet we saw so very much! He is very knowledgeable and we learned so much. In many ways, the trip was a historical journey into ancient Egypt, as expected. But what we did not expect was the deeply spiritual nature of what we saw. We were able to connect with the origins of our own religion through the ancient religions we saw depicted. Hesham was just great and his English is excellent so we felt that we were not losing knowledge in translation. The tour itself was extremely well laid out! Thank you for taking our considerations into account as you shaped the trip. We definitely were glad to see the dam and Aswan before we boarded for the cruise. And that was just fantastic! The attendants on the boat were so very very helpful and gracious. The room was super comfortable and we loved the large window. We also were glad for the comfortable bed. What a difference that makes. What a beautiful river. Unfortunately for us, the wind was pretty strong and a bit cold so we did not stay up on the deck very much, so it was great to have the room as an option. And we felt that the food was very good and quite a variety. It was just great! As for all the sites, it was beyond imagination. I cannot tell you how amazing it was. We had to cut back on some of them due to the stamina of my husband, but we felt that we got the most out of everything. As I said above, Hesham was great and he also was able to get us in the front of the lines, which also helped. Thank you so much for planning such an important and spectacular itinerary. And thank you for the two hotels, the one in Luxor was spectacular and they were so gracious to allow us to stay for an extra two hours in our room and then to use the facilities until we had to leave for the airport. The one near Cairo airport was perfect location, but just basic. All we needed for that night, though. All the drivers were excellent, careful drivers, and very friendly. All in all, we cannot say enough about the amazing time we had. Thanks you so so much for everything. I will certainly recommend Charlie The Traveler!!

My BFF and I recently spent 12 days in Costa Rica. We followed the 9 day itinerary and added 2 extra days. Using Charlie the Traveler was the best decision we could have made regarding this trip. From our arrival pick up in Liberia airport to our departure drop off in San Jose airport, there was not one complaint or concern throughout our time in CR. The itinerary was well laid out and planned. We were able to see many of CR's beautiful lands- capes and topo- graphy. Beautiful beaches, volcanoes, waterfalls, rain/cloud forest, wild life, etc...We saw it all!! The coordinat- ion and planning of this trip by Charlie was perfect. We were able to enjoy our trip without any hassles, getting lost, standing in lines, or trying to figure out what to see or where to go. We were also given a 24 hr. on call concierge for any questions or concerns. Such peace of mind for navigating a foreign country. We were provided a full detailed itinerary that included what to wear or bring to an excursion and times to show up in lobby.. We cannot speak highly enough about Charlie the Traveler! We are definately going to book our next adventure through Charlie! If you are not a fan of planning a vacation on your own...try it out! We booked our two week Turkey tour through MADE IN TURKEY TOURS. We knew nothing about Turkey, or where we wanted to go, other than Istanbul. We booked the whole thing on line. Ismail speaks perfect English, and gave us several options and talked (emailed) us through the options. We asked what we wanted to see, was extremely responsive, and organised everything. The only hitch in the whole two weeks was when I got ill (not food related) and I was hospitalised for four days. Ismail was fantastic. Apart from arranging a doctor for me, he changed our itinerary, arranged for road transport when I was unable to fly and refunded everything he could. What was not refundable was clearly itemised for our travel insurance. I cannot more highly recommend this company.

We had a fantastic trip. We traveled as a group of 5 adults. We loved Valentin, our primary Belize contact. He was incredibly reliable and exceeded our expectations in every way. In fact, everyone used was great. We were very happy with all accommodations and would recommend any of them to friends. We added a day trip to Tikal in Guatemala and this too was seamless.

We booked a 9 day tour in New Zealand for our 25th Anniversary. We had a wonderful time. We were the only 2 on the tour. Prior to the trip Jessa took care of all the arrangements and made sure everything was ready for our trip. While in New Zealand Cindy made sure all our next day tours and lodging was sent to us as a reminder. She was very helpful and even arranged a tour of Tiritiri Island. I can not thank Jessa, Cindy, and CharlieTheTraveller for making our 25th anniversary memorable. it was nice to have everything arranged for us in advance and to have great customer service that made us feel taken care of the whole trip. All the excursions were fantastic and the transportation was great. I would Highly recommend CharlieTheTraveller. We will use them on our next big trip.

I picked Charlie the Traveler because they had the best itinerary for New Zealand, allowing me to see both the North and South Islands. As a Lord of the Rings fan, I especially wanted to visit the shire and experience the Maori culture. Every day, there are activities to see the vast outdoors, beautiful country, and friendly Kiwis. Cindy, my virtual concierge, was very helpful in ensuring I knew my daily schedule. When minor problems came up, she took care of the issues quickly. I'm glad I extended my trip to New Zealand with Charlie!
