This was our first time in Iceland and me and my 3 other friends decided to take it on in the winter with the goal of driving the entire ring road, aka going around the entire country. This van was absolutely amazing. Drives super smoothly, can handle gravel and rough terrain, has a ladder to take cool pics at the top and very spacious on the inside! The 4 of us slept comfortably. One thing to note is that is back area gets quite cold (in the winter) while driving since we were told not to use the heater while the engine runs. However, later on they said it was okay to do. The service that camp easy provided was also great. Shoutout to Dawid and Natalia, they were both super helpful and even let me input a discount code I found after already paying, which was a huge help. The camper comes with a tablet that has all the info you need from road conditions to campsites to sights to see. Now, it wasn't the cheapest option, especially when we bought the premium insurance, however it was worth every penny. If I ever come back in the summer, which I probably will, no doubt I'll be using Camp Easy!

What an amazing team of people! Special mention to Natalia, Flore and David. They take at most care about your check in and check out for the camper van. The I wing on the cake was pick up and drop off to the airport! Talking about their vans, OMG Easy fun was amazing for 2 people. We drove it for 8 days and a whopping 2000 KMs. No problem with the driving, heating, lighting and water supply! Everything about this is too good to believe. Would love to visit them for a bigger van soon.

We rented a camper van (VW Crafter) from CampEasy for one week over Christmas to explore Iceland for the first time, and it was an incredible experience! We were happily surprised by their clear and detailed website, which made it easy to choose the right vehicle for our needs. The option to add extra blankets, duvets, or pots and pans for free was a fantastic bonus. Their customer service was excellent—they were quick to answer our questions and made the check-in process super simple, even accommodating our late arrival with the option to sleep in their parking area and access nearby toilets. The camper van was equipped with clear video instructions on a tablet, 5G WiFi, and everything we needed for a comfortable journey. We also received weather alerts by email, which was a huge plus in a country like Iceland, where road and weather conditions can change rapidly. CampEasy truly exceeded our expectations with their well-equipped vehicles and outstanding service. Thanks for being such a big part of our fantastic first adventure in Iceland. I rented the Easy ranger 4x4 and it is amazing. Súper confortable, you will never have cold because the heating is great. A lot of usb and usbc ports and kitchen stuff. The van itself is amazing, easy to drive and cheap on fuel consumption. Thanks to Natalia who gave me excelent support in Everything I needed. 100% recommended.

My first experience in a campervan and it has been amazing! Even if it was December, the van felt super warm and cozy and never felt cold at night. Many thanks to Natalia for her kind and useful support! I can't wait to rent the Monster again!

Our experience with CAMPEASY was far from satisfactory, starting from the very first interaction. Upon landing, we called them as instructed. I informed the lady that we were at the P2 parking area, as advised in their email, and asked if we were in the correct spot for pick-up since I could see a few buses nearby. Her response was dismissive: “At P2 there are no buses… haven’t you watched the video we sent you? Okay, stay there.” She then abruptly hung up on me. This rude and unprofessional behavior set the tone for the rest of our experience. The lady who welcomed us was clearly in a hurry to finish her shift,frequently checking her watch, which came across as impolite. Communication was challenging as her English was difficult to understand. She handed us a two-sided paper with instructions and expected us to read and comprehend it within a minute. When it came to the insurance, we were shocked to find out that the “free insurance” you / they advertised was no insurance at all. This felt highly misleading. To ensure coverage, we opted for the “zero-risk insurance” at an additional cost of nearly €400, only to discover that even this did not fully protect us. When we asked if we would be covered in the event of an accident caused by another driver, we were told: “If you chase them, stop them, get all their information, and have them sign documents, then yes. Otherwise, you’ll be charged.” This is an unreasonable and impractical expectation, especially for tourists unfamiliar with the area. After paying, we noticed that the documents they gave us did not list the insurance plan we had purchased. I had to return to correct this error the next day. Following this, the same staff member hurriedly handed us the keys and said, “Go find the car!” with no further assistance, inspection, or explanation. This level of service is simply unacceptable. The vehicle itself had several issues: • No spikes on the tires: For a country with icy and slippery roads, this was alarming. This crucial detail was not mentioned, nor were we informed about the lack of spikes. • Weak headlights: Driving in Iceland’s winter conditions with such poor lighting felt unsafe. • Non-functional GPS: The GPS in the van did not work. When we asked about it, the response was dismissive: “Use your phone to navigate.” The issue was never fixed during our 8-day rental, and no compensation or discount was offered for this inconvenience. Additionally, the website lacks important details about the vehicles, including specifications that would help customers make informed choices. Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing. Improvements in customer service, clearer communication, and better vehicle preparation are essential for this company to meet the expectations of its customers.

Fantastic experience. The staff were very friendly, the facilities at the office were great and we loved the idea of the communal pantry/fridge. We found the process of pick up and drop off seamless and the Caren Tablet made the adventure of driving in Iceland so much more approachable. The heating in the van during the peak of winter worked fantastic and we didn’t have any cold night sleeps. I would highly recommend Camp Easy for anyone looking to hire a camper in Iceland and I hope to have to opportunity to do so again!

Amazing service! Everything was even more than what we expected for being the first approaching with this company, their associates make an amazing job, nothing to complain about, and thanks again to Dawid, this guy was really helpful with the check out of the service!

We couldn't be happier to have chosen CampEasy for our 7-day tour of Iceland. Our plane landed at 2am so the offices were no longer open and we had to use the selfservice which was organised to perfection. In addition, due to the time it was, they let us spend the night in their facilities, for which we are infinitely grateful. We were two people and the camper we chose was the Easy Fun which says it is for 3 but I honestly think that for 3 people it would be a bit small. For us 2 it was the perfect size. It comes with everything we needed for the days we were there and we weren't cold at any time which is appreciated with -10 degrees on the street. It also comes with a tablet with many recommendations of places to visit, gas stations along the way, campsites where you can stay.... All in all, a 10. Now we have to go back to see the north and I'm sure we'll do it again with them!

We rented a viking van, everything worked perfectly, we didn't have any issues, and they allow us to stay the night before and the night after by the office with some coffee. Also, people leave some things from their trips that you can use. We have no complains, really everything awesome and the apps they share with us were pretty precise as well.

Loved our experience working with CampEasy, the van had everything we needed. There was a great option to snag ‘take what you need’ pantry items left behind from other campers to save on your initial grocery shop, be sure to take advantage. Florentina was an absolute legend, picked us up from the airport first thing in the morning with sleet and 60 mph wind gusts with a smile on her face and cheerful disposition! On the return Natalia helped get us checked out efficiently and got us to the airport with plenty of time before our flight. Would definitely work with this company again.

Our experience with Campeasy was fantastic! The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. We rented the Easy Clever 4x4, which was top-quality and perfect for two people. The camper was fully equipped with a spacious kitchen, complete with all necessary utensils and a small refrigerator that made grocery shopping and cooking so convenient. The heating system was powerful and a lifesaver for us, especially since we’re from a very warm country—it kept us cozy throughout the chilly nights. Checkout was quick, and the team at the rental center was super cool and incredibly helpful, always ready to answer any questions. Highly recommend Campeasy for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-equipped campervan experience in Iceland!

This is such a great way to see Iceland on a budget. We had the easy fun camper in early November. I was a bit worried at first as it’s not a 4x4 but we mainly stuck to the ring road and it was absolutely fine. No problems. Another thing we were worried about is staying warm over night. The heater is great. We would actually get too warm at points! And we didn’t leave it on all night. We also didn’t notice any changes in fuel so it must use a very small amount. The bed is a great size for two people. The fridge is bigger than expected. The LED lights were nice too. We kept the bed made the whole trip. We didn’t use the table. Would have meant moving everything around all the time. I’d recommend no big cases! Especially if you bring two. You’ll struggle to find the room. Being soft bags instead like a gym bag/rucksack. We checked-in outside of hours but it was really simple. They email you on the day with a code to pick up the keys. In their sun room (where you pick the keys from) they had a toilet, sink for washing up, sofa, fridge, tea/coffee machine, food left from other travellers and a cute guest book. If you arrive late and don’t want to drive to a campsite you can stay at campeasy. I think that’s great. I don’t think a lot of other places would do this. Check out was just as easy as check-in. The staff were lovely and friendly too. We really enjoyed our time in Iceland. Such a beautiful country. We’re hoping to return in summer and would do it all again with camp easy!
