      Amazing everything
The tour overall is wonderful. Our guide Kacper is simply awesome, he is professional, knowledgeable, funny and passionate about what he does. We have enjoyed the tour very much, he played a key role in it. He makes sure we see as much as we could and at the best time we could. The views are simply beyond words. Highly recommended. And can’t get a better guide than Kacper.

Amazing 6 days in Iceland’s Winter Winderland
Thoroughly enjoyed this 6-day tour around Iceland. Our guide, Vala, is very knowledgeable about all things Iceland - she shared wonderful stories, captivating folklore, some interesting and personal to her. Vala’s passion for Iceland really shines through her lively mannerisms and enthusiasm to share. We learnt a lot about Iceland, its culture and history through her. Vala’s knowledge especially showed in northern Iceland, where she had to adjust our itinerary due to unforeseen road closures and still made the tour fun for us, while maximising the precious daylight available to us. Thanks Vala for guiding our tour.

      A perfect day in Iceland!
Firstly I want to shout out our tour guides- BEGGI was absolutely amazing for our Golden Circle, Blue lagoon day trip. We did a small group tour and made the experience feel so personal, we were so happy with Beggi, he was so knowledgeable, friendly and upbeat. He gave us plenty of time to stop between places and also was very helpful with recommendations and questions. Nothing was too much trouble for him. We had Beggi on the 26th November, and he made the whole day so much more memorable. Also, Bus Travel Iceland were amazing - our tour included Blue Lagoon entry, as there was an erruption they substituted the blue lagoon for another (won’t say which as depends on availability) with no issue. Was very happy. Our Northern lights tour was cancelled this night due to fog. There was good communication from Bus Travel Iceland (text and email) and they rebooked it for the next day with no issues. We went on the next night on the 27th November and despite the weather we managed to see the lights! Our tour guide (I’m so sorry I forgot the name) was absolutely amazing, he stopped in many locations trying to help us see the lights. He was very knowledgeable and informative about the lights which kept us all awake! The hot chocolate was amazing too, and our host even gave us a free chocolate too. He was absolutely amazing and without him we wouldn’t have been able to have such a good experience. I was weary to book this tour as it is quite jam packed but its very easily doable. It doesnt feel like a rush everywhere has the perfect time allocated to it. Thoroughly recommend to anyone.

      Well worth it!
Stunning views and excellent opportunity to appreciate nature. Addi the tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. Great customer service and communication from the team. The Blue Lagoon closed so we went to Sky Lagoon which was lovely and relaxing. I couldn't see the lights due to unfavorable weather on the day but I was automatically rescheduled ( free of charge) for the next day when I did get to see them. Overall a very good experience which I highly recommend.

      Ask for Matthew
Matthew is an engaging and funny tour guide. From Newcastle, UK, he brings an outsiders appreciation for the quirks and lore of Iceland. The scenery is stunning even on an incredibly overcast day like the one we had. Docked one star because the group is very large, but that’s probably unavoidable.

      Fantastic Tour Guide
We had the most wonderful Tour Guide: Victoria; Daughter of Tom. Her father was also a tour guide. Vick shared the culture as well as the history of Iceland. We learned about the language and living in Iceland. She was energetic and entertaining. At one of the stops she and her father sang an Icelandic lullaby. By far, she was the best tour guide we've ever experience.

      Worth every penny
Kjartan and Poco were great guides. We covered a lot of terrain. They didn’t feel like they had to wrap thing quickly and were very mindful of ship departure times. They provided so much history of the area.

      Great shore excursion
what an amazing trip. To see so much in one day. The bus was comfortable. The guide was informative. The places to see were amazing. The lunch pack provided was tasty. I would recommend this tour for Antone wanting to do a cruise shore excursion. Pick up was at the pier, well organised. Delivery back to the ship was on tine.

Great views and a great tour guide!
This was one of the best tours we've ever experienced and it is all because of the Ritchie, our guide. He was outstanding and innovative. His first step was to have us all join a group in WhatsApp so he could interact with us during the tour, sharing questions/polls, photos, and messaging us when it was time to move on. He was very knowledgeable and even took us on a couple of quick detours for added experiences. The scenery was amazing and well worth it.

A Great Non-Cruise Line Shore Excursion
A very convenient and cheaper (than ship version) shore excursion. The bus pick-up area was a 1/2 block walk from the ship (since it wasn't a "official" shore excursion they can't park next to the dock. Our tour bus actually had people who bought two slightly different tours: our version and one where some people did a walking excursion of a lava field while we were at the natural baths- I recommend the baths! One word of caution: you have to rent a towel from the front desk when you arrive (it's not included in the ticket the tour company pays for). I will say that of the three natural baths we visited in Iceland, this was our least favorite; however, it was still relaxing and we're glad we went. The stop by the lake is the one that everyone says has ALOT of flies; we lucked out since it was cold. To be honest, the lake stop was my least favorite part of the tour; really not too much to see there on a 45 minute stop & the line for their bathrooms was LONG.

      A Must do experience!
The trip was amazing! Helmen was our first guide for the Golden Circle and Blue Lagoon experiences-he was very knowledgeable , friendly and timely. The spots he took was to were breathtaking. Then Hallg took us to see the Aurora Borealis and it was the most spectacular view I have ever seen! He told great stories, had insider tips and was great.

CRUISE PASSENGERS BCRUISE PASSENGERS BEWARE! They will not refund your money if the port is cancelled.
ATTENTION CRUISE PASSENGERS!! Do not book with this company. They will not refund your money if the port is cancelled. They clearly states that the tour requires good weather, but when our cruise cancelled the port due to bad weather they refused to issue a refund. I notified them immediately when I found out, just under the 24 hour mark before th tour was to start. We lost $380. They cater to cruise passengers, its a port pick up! I was shocked they handled it this way.

      Wonderful Day, Great Tour Company!
Had a great time on this tour! The locations we visited were awesome and our guide (Unnur) and driver (Artur) made our day even better! We were in Akureryi for the day via a cruise stop and this was one of the best tours we have ever done! We also did a tour with this same company in Reykjavik and I can highly recommend Bus Travel Iceland tours..both of them were great!

The falls were different from other waterfalls we saw around Iceland. Beautiful, and a good tour by Tom. He gave a good historical background of many things we saw on the drive as well as at the falls and farm.
My only negative occurred on a subsequent tour provided by the same company: We were cruising around Iceland with 6 ports. The materials say "Free Cancellation," but it really isn't. Due to really bad weather we missed the port stop on the subsequent tour. We were informed by the cruise line 12 hours ahead of time, but the company only refunds money if you let them know at least 24 hours ahead--so buyer beware. Bottom line: I would recommend not booking these tours until you are certain you will make a port, if you are on a cruise. If they sell out that tour earlier, oh well, at least you won't have thrown away hundreds of dollars due to circumstances out of your control.

Took this excursion while in from a cruise ship which had basically the same trip at more than double the price. This was so worth it. Our ship was an hour late to port and the driver waited for us. The company was very conscientious of cruisers and waited until everyone was accounted for. The hour drive to the falls was made so interesting because of the fantastic driver/guide Tom. A native of Iceland, he was full of knowledge and stories - which he told with a lot of comedy. I think his next job should be entertainer on a cruise ship! Once at the falls, we had almost an hour to use the facilities and hike up to very close to the falls. They are gorgeous. The hike is not the easiest, but not the hardest. Wear good shoes/boots, hold on to the ropes and watch for all the gravel. Still worth it if you do not hike up all the way and plenty of good picture spots.
After the falls he drove us to a working sheep farm where they greeted us with delicious "Happy Marriage" cake, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. An intern gave us a speech about the farm and we saw the horses and some of the sheep - the black one had four horns!
The drive took us through two long tunnels which were so interesting and Tom knew the history and was a very good, safe driver.
Tom used to be in a boys choir. Now he is all grown up and sang us a beautiful song with his rich, melodic voice. Okay, so perhaps his next job should be a singer!!
We have more tours booked and hope Tom is our driver again - he will be tough to beat!

The Falls are Beautiful! Our tour guide Tom was a local Icelander. He made the tour 5 stars with his commentary and delivery. This is similar tour the cruise offered but this was a better deal. It returns plenty early so no worries about being left by the ship The bus was loaded with cruise folks. It's a bit of a drive but Tom will keep well informed along the way. Scenery was spectacular and we cut under the mountains on a 7km tunnel. When you get to the falls, don't fall for Tom's "it gets pretty rocky and tough near the top" line. Just do it! It wasn't bad and if you take your time the falls pool area is nice! There are 5 total mini falls you'll pass on the way up. We stopped at a quaint farm on the way back for a homemade treat and coffee/tea. Tom even got out his guitar and provided some great music while we relaxed. My only suggestion to the operator is We thought the Farm owner would really like to tell her story about her land. She was trying to pass on little snippets as we passed through the serving line but you had to keep moving so all could get through. I would give her 5 minutes to tell her story and answer questions. We went to the barn and held a newborn lamb. It was a really nice day! I highly recommend this tour.

They asked us to show up 20 minutes early which we did - waiting in the freezing cold. Our pickup time came and went and our shuttle never showed up. Called and was told they would be there in a few minutes, 20 minutes later we called again only to be told they were still 20 minutes out. Ended up just grabbing a local taxi for a tour. Do not recommend.

Dear robertsW501AW, Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback but would like to clarify some points. The tour you left a review under—Dynjandi Waterfall & Iceland Farm Visit Tour—is only operated during the summer months, which makes it difficult to address your concerns accurately. Additionally, we do not request our guests to arrive 20 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time. Our operations follow exact pick-up timings as outlined in our communication with guests. To help us investigate this matter further, we kindly recommend reaching out to us at info@bustravel.is with your booking reference. This will allow us to look into your case and assist you more effectively. We look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Andrius

We booked a 3 1/2 hour waterfall tour and only had 45 minutes at the waterfall. There is no time to hike up at, only time to take a few pictures. It was a joke for $130 per person! Our guide was a lovely young man, but he had never done the tour himself, so he didn’t know anything about it until he experienced it along with us.

Such an outstanding trip packed into a few hours. We had a short shore day and were very much surprised to fit in such two very different but iconic venues. Heidi is an amazing tour guide. She mixed humor with fun facts and just enough banter to make the day even more special. Such a kind and good spirited and intelligently fun spirit. Well worth the price and time. Hike up to the top of the falls (hard but worth it), and definitely say hi to the sheep, dogs, and horses at the farm (don’t miss the cake).

We were on a cruise around Iceland and the Dynjandi waterfalls were somewhere we wanted to visit when we docked in Isafjordur.
The cruise of course offered the trip, but I found this one, provided by BusTravel Iceland, cheaper on line, with timing that was comfortable for the ship’s arrival and departure.
Booking and payment was an easy process.
We found the BusTravel Iceland coach, with English-speaking guide plus driver, in the tour bus area at the cruise terminal in front of our ship.
The coach was modern and comfortable with good wifi (in fact, I’m posting this review on the return journey on the bus).
The tour guide was helpful and informative.
It rained a fair bit, but was fortunately dry when we climbed to the waterfalls. We also had a farm visit, where they keep unusual 4 horned sheep and the farmer’s wife served us hot chocolate and the local traditional happy marriage cake.
    The falls were awesome!
Highly recommended tour. Don’t miss these falls. A considerable saving compared to the ship’s offering.

So I did this tour today with a hilarious guide named Tomas Ragnarsson with Bus.is company. He not only broke down the history, genealogy, mythology, and more on Iceland in a fun way, he also sang to us!! The guy needs his own show…seriously! As a cultural anthropology professor and travel agent on the side, he is the best tour guide I have ever had…and I’ve travelled a bit!
Thanks for a fun day Tom!!

After arriving at the port by taking the NCL Prima, it was easy to find the operator in the parking lot. The tour guide introduced the attractions very seriously, and played music on the car to increase interaction. Although our English was not very good enough to be fully understood, we were very comfortable throughout the whole journey. joy.

The waterfall is beautiful and worth seeing. The farm itinerary is relatively simple, but it is enough to see the daily self-sufficient life of real Icelanders raising some animals.

I gave this tour 2 points only because of the beauty of the waterfalls and the visit of the farm. The organisation of the trip was a disaster. We got of the ship and were looking for the company, meeting point was only described as at the port. I decided to call and a person answered and sent me a pin for the location which was great. There was alteady a bus with a long line and two more showed up. We got on with no issue but then we took of late in a caravan of busses which seemes to keep slowing down and stop. At some point we were told that we had to turn around because other people were still at the port. We turned around and waited without any communication from the driver or the guide. We finally left 35 minutes late and some people were still standing outside...The guide seemed knowledgeable but his English was bad. The company at least didn't short change our time though.
