Overview
Do more than just admire Iceland's beloved horses during your stay in the country—take one for a spin on this horseback riding tour with transportation from Reykjavik. Atop a sturdy, sure-footed Icelandic horse, you’ll take a beautiful ride in the countryside just outside the city. This tour is suitable for beginners and experts alike.
What to Expect
You will be picked up at your hotel or guesthouse in Reykjavik and drive only 15 minutes away to your horse riding destination. You will then get all basic gear, such as helmets, boots and rain clothes (snowsuits in wintertime). Information will be gathered about how much you have been riding and so the proper horse will be matched to your experience. After the ride we will take you back to your hotel or guesthouse.

The ride was about 2 hours. They do ask your experience level but our route was the same as all of the other people there that morning.
