We had a great time and learned a lot from our guide, Gudni as we walked around Reykjavik right at the beginning of our week in Iceland. Then, a few days later, while we were eating lunch at Geysir, Gudni recognized us and took the time to come over and say hello. We affirm YourFriendInReykjavik for both the professionalism and the personal touch!

Wonderful fun two hour walking tour. Helped me get to know Reykjavik and find some places to shop and sightsee during my stay. Tour guide was super fun and friendly. Also told us great folklore stories.

Very fun and informative tour. Ester gave us a tour which included lots of tidbits of her life growing up in Reykjavik relevant to many of the sites which really made it come more alive. It's always nice to remember that a city isn't just history but also real people living lives there.

We had the pleasure of being shown around by Bardi who was just brilliant. He led us on a fascinating tour of the city stopping to give us interesting facts and stories at every turn, pointed out to us the best places to eat as vegetarians and took us to quaint and unusual stores and cafes to add some variety to the tour. Informative and highly interesting ..so glad we got to know the city this way…thank you Bardi.

Even though the weather wasn't great (went in late November 2021) and it was just me on the tour, I had an excellent time and the tour guides were knowledgeable and made it a great experience. In my opinion an excellent tour to do on your first day as they had some amazing recommendations of places to see/eat. Highly recommended and lead by some genuinely lovely locals.

My husband and I had a great morning with Bardi as he took us round Reykjavik. Bardi is an excellent guide and storyteller. We learnt so much as we walked round and even managed to see a rehearsal for a concert. The tour was very interesting and entertaining and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this as part of a visit to this amazing and fascinating city.

On our short stay in Reykjavik we were lucky enough to be part of that great tour with just two other people, so it was almost a private one.
From the general history of the city and Iceland in general to more some small anecdotes, we could get the whole flavour of Reykjavik with a local what else could we expect?
Very knowledgeable, kind and easy to talk to, our tour guide Bardi made our stay in the capital unique.
We highly recommend to go and visit...with a viking!

Loved the guide, Bardi and the tour. Met the Prime Minister of Iceland, Katrín Jakobsdóttir in front of her office returning from a meeting during the tour. Bardi introduced us to her. She's very charming. She stopped to say hello and chat for a moment. We were a small group of four senior couples. We learned much about Icelandic Culture and heritage including Christmas traditions, the best places to eat and stores to buy Icelandic products like sweaters. All narrated and explained by our knowledgeable and personable guide Bardi. We thoroughly enjoyed his stories and company. Also, learned that it's best not to disturb the Elves. Saw the Concert Hall, Lutheran Church, shopping areas, many statues, and restaurants. Highly recommend Bardi and this tour to all.

First rate experience on our first day in Reykjavik! My husband and I were the only ones signed up for the tour, but Stefan didn't cut any corners in the experience. He gave us a great intro to the city, with humor and history sprinkled in. Highly recommend!
