Overview
Iceland is home to soaring volcanoes and cascading waterfalls, but the most impressive natural attractions are spread far and wide. This Golden Circle bus tour heads directly through the Geysir geothermal area to sites of interest including the Gulfoss waterfall and Thingvellir National Park. Reach the landmarks in comfort with time to explore on foot, and enjoy panoramic views over the Icelandic countryside with round-trip travel from Reykjavik hotels included.
What to Expect

This tour begins with pickup at your hotel in Reykjavik. Then set out on the Golden Circle to your first stop, the Geysir geothermal area.

Walk around and explore the spouting springs, and bubbling mud pools before stopping at Strokkur, the most active geyser in Iceland. Watch Strokkur erupt before heading to your next stop.

Next visit the Gulfoss, a two-tiered waterfall. Feel the waterfalls mist and snap photos standing next to it. Then continue on to your final stop, Thingvellir National Park.

Walk along the American and Eurasian tectonic plates in the park that are slowly pulling apart at the rate of a few centimeters a year. View the lava fields, lakes and valleys in the park before driving back to Reykjavik where the tour ends at your hotel (around 4:30pm or 6:30pm depending on your departure time).

An amazing trip, this shorter version of the Golden Circle is perfect if you have little time or don't want a whole day for a trip. However the time at each stop is quite short, so if you'd like to fully experience these sights, the...More

Iceland experienced - so breathtaking, and so very well presented by this tour/guide.

I travel as a hobby - lucky to be retired and have the time/resources. I am an extremely age-challenged female (damned old!) and travel solo. I would, however, have gone without food, lipstick and new shoes to be sure I could do this again. Iceland...More

Nice

We drove so took it at our own speed. The big three are nice with lots of smaller sights along the way.

Highly recommend

We took a one and a half day trip to Berlin and were pressed for time but wanted to see as much as we could. This tour was perfect! We were picked up promptly at 8am in a nice large bus with WiFi and chargers....More
