Overview
The Blue Lagoon is widely considered among Iceland’s top natural attractions, but reaching it without your own wheels can be tricky. On this simple coach transfer service, spin through the lava fields of the Reykjanes Peninsula in comfort and reach the site with ease. Perhaps soak in the warm waters or indulge yourself with a soothing massage, then return to Reykjavík or Keflavík International Airport (KEF).
What to Expect
Get picked up from your hotel in Reykjavík(or designated bus top) for the transfer from Reykjavík to the Blue Lagoon. Departures are every hour according to the opening hours of the Blue Lagoon. On your way to the Blue Lagoon you will drive through the lava fields of the Reykjanes Peninsula, the drive between Reykjavík and the Blue Lagoon is approx. 50 minutes.

The Blue Lagoon was formed in 1976 during operation at the nearby geothermal power plant. In the years that followed, people began to bathe in the unique water and apply the silica mud to their skin. Those with psoriasis noticed an incredible improvement in their condition. Over the years, Blue Lagoon has been innovative in harnessing this gift of nature to develop different spa services and products.

After having enjoyed all that the Blue Lagoon has to offer, you can either return to Reykjavík or be dropped off at Keflavík International Airport (KEF).

Admission to the Blue Lagoon is NOT included and must be booked in advance.

I would think so since the Blue Lagoon is only 15 minutes from the airport. The trick is securing your spot at the lagoon. You have to book a reservation. There are taxis and buses to and from there. I’ll know more in 4... More
