About
Experience Silfra's pristine, crystal clear water while you dive between the Eurasian and American continental plates. Upon arrival at Thingvellir National Park, your guide will introduce you to the unique geological and cultural history of Silfra before giving you a detailed briefing of the dive site. You guide will then assist you into your dry suit and setting up the dive equipment. We will explore the four main parts of Silfra, the big crack, Silfra hall, Silfra Cathedral and the Silfra Lagoon. After the dive we will warm up with hot chocolate and biscuits.

Great Silfra Dive
Oct 2021
The excitement begins when you start gearing up in the dry suit. It continues as you walk to the start. But then you enter the water and you know you are in a unique place on earth. With Richard as out guide, it was a fantastic experience.

One of a kind dive
We dove Silfra on October 2021 and it was an unbelievable experience. Our tour guide, Clarence, made the tour even better. He really helped us get into gear, was patient and a great communicator. We had a fantastic dive, no leaks in the drysuit (very important) and took the time to take great pictures.
Silfra is one of a kind dive, so I definitely recommend taking the tour and highly recommend dive.is.
Thank you for an unforgettable experience.

Self drive, diving in Silfra
Oct 2021 • Solo
Went to dive at Silfra with Stefano recently at Silfra. He was a great dive instructor, kitted us out and explained the dive perfectly! The whole dive went off without a hitch, visibility was perfect. Can't recommend a better dive company to go with to be honest, great service and an awesome dive master 👌

The best day ever
Oct 2021
Been wanting to do this for a few years and it was even better than I imagined! A very thorough but relaxed dive brief that led smoothly into the kitting up. The equipment was excellent and we were helped (and thoroughly spoilt) by Ants with the whole process. The dive itself was easygoing with breathtaking views in crystal clear water. No doubt made easier and more relaxed by Ants advice and attention to detail. He is also an awesome underwater photographer, it turns out! And gave us a great recommendation for lunch too! A totally brilliant day. 😊 Thank you so much

5 Star Experience!
Oct 2021 • Couples
Absolutely amazing and a must do for any diver!! Really beautiful and clear water. Our guide, Anna was the best. Really helpful in getting all of our gear set up and also took the best pictures of us during the tour. She also went above and beyond giving us some recommendations for food and drinks in Reykjavik for later in the day. A truly one of a kind and 5 star experience from start to finish.

Bucket list experience, not to be missed!
Sep 2021
I've been wanting to dive Silfra ever since I first found out about it, and it didn't disappoint! From initial contact thru booking and the actual dive it was everything I'd expected and more. Dive.is made it all very easy, and the divemasters were the best I'm experienced in 30 years of diving. My wife didn't want to get dry suit certified so she snorkeled with Chris, and my son and I who had been dry suit certified dived with Anno. Both divemasters were patient with the small groups and made sure everyone was suited up without rushing. The dive itself was spectacular, and the images captured by both the divemasters and myself were stunning. I would highly, highly recommend this trip and operator, there is nothing like it in the world and it's an experience never to be forgotten. Many thanks to Chris, Anno, Ants and the office staff for making our day so incredibly memorable.

An experience like nothing else!
Oct 2021 • Solo
Ants and Alex were amazing guides, the dive was amazing, truly the whole experience was amazing! I highly recommend doing this dive if you're in Iceland. It's worth getting the drysuit certification and making thr trip. The feeling of being suspended is something I'll never forget. I was ready to do a 2nd dive! It's also the 1st time I had a rental drysuit that didn't leak and fit me perfectly! Their equipment and service was top notch! Ants made sure everything fit well and was comfortable, he's also a great instructor! Just book the tour and do it, you won't regret it!
