A wonderful tour - luxury transport, a packed schedule that still felt somehow relaxed and amazing choices of route - we saw so much more of this amazing country than just the golden circle (and the overwhelming magic of the organic tomato farm , delicious soup and restaurant for lunch - oh and a vital pat of the beautiful Icelandic horses too ) . The drive up the wild coastline to the blue lagoon will live long in our memory! David our guide was simply the best !! He is incredible knowledgeable, fascinating and fun - making everything we saw so much more meaningful and interesting - although whether our in car pronunciation lessons improved our Icelandic is debatable! Thank you so much to lovely David and to Konrad for a truly perfect day, we couldn’t recommend this tour highly enough. - Donna F0 contributionsIntimate tour!Best part of our 5 day stay! Our tour guide, David, is a world traveler and an expert on Iceland after living here for 23 years. With limited daylight, he kept us on time to see everything. A great way to see many of Iceland’s majestic views. The Tesla SUV was roomy and quiet. So much better than the 50+ people getting off the buses at stops. We were able to ask questions and David told us the history of each stop prior to getting there and the route to take to see everything. He wasn’t standing there with a flag directing 50 people to “come over here, bathroom over there, stand over here”. Can’t stress enough how much we enjoyed this small group tour!Written 13 January 2022

He was knowledgeable and kept our interest throughout the trip. The new car was comfortable and easily got us through some rough weather. He seemed to be an expert in so many areas including Iceland’s history, linguistic roots and complexities, geological phenomena, fauna, among others. There was only one other guest on the tour making the experience very special. David tailored the information he shared based on our interests and background. He has a great sense of humor as well. Literally no words are able to describe this tour (or call it a experience, because it was). It started with the booking process and the adjustments, Sebastian who helped me through email, had so much patience and took a lot effort to make the tour exactly to your wishes.
David, the tour guide, was extraordinary in doing his job. During the tour he felt like he was a friend of yours. He was able to tell so many great stories about Iceland, the culture, the history, nature, innovations and also about his own experiences. The sustainable vehicle (the Tesla) made everything complete if you have sustainability high on your values and don't like the big busses and massa tourism.
Everything was perfect and it was extremely worth it. Big big big thumps up for Konrad Tours!

In our recent August 2023 family vacation to Iceland, we had the most incredible Private Tour with Konrad Tours and our guide Bogi Agnarsson. Bogi was born and raised in Iceland, and having him for a guide was very special as he shared so much about Iceland history and culture that we might not have otherwise experienced. Bogi was prompt, polite, knowledgeable and friendly. He allowed us to tailor our Golden Circle Private Tour to be at the pace we wanted each stop to be and to meet our interests. We never felt rushed and he truly wanted us to have an outstanding time. You could tell he really loves his native Iceland. He even made a few extra stops along the way for us to see extra sites and experience extra local traditions such as Hot Springs bread. When we return to Iceland some day, we would definitely seek out Konrad Tours and request Bogi as our guide. We missed Bogi when we went home as he was so kind. For anyone debating between a group tour or a private tour, our family got the most out of our time in Iceland with a private tour, and would highly recommend this experience.

Our family had a fantastic private Golden Circle Tour with Konrad Tours. Iceland was amazing but this was the best day of our holiday. Konrad was really knowledgeable, we never felt rushed, on time pickup, everything was great. Perfect day - thank you! PS see you in June!

Best part for us of our wonderful tour was that David was knowledgeable about the natural history of Iceland - the plants and birds that we saw along the way. And he accommodated that particular interest of ours admirably!...
