- All participants must be able to swim at a basic level and everyone is required to wear a life vest at all times in the kayak.
- Double kayaks will be provided to even numbered groups unless singles are specifically requested/approved at the time of booking.
- Each guide is only permitted to lead a limited number of kayaks for safety reasons and to increase the quality of the tour. For this reason, availability may be limited.
- Minimum group size of 2, solo travellers may join if an existing group has formed but may need to be flexible.
- Customer cancellations only permitted up to 24 hours in advance.
- A picnic lunch is provided, including a snack and fruit. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions..
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s cancelled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

He was friendly from the get go and we were very impressed at how he instantly remembered all of the names of the people on our tour. We felt safe throughout and Frank regularly checked how everyone was feeling. I liked that the tour didn't stop at the blue lagoon as, although pretty, was very overcrowded. We had the most fantastic time taking part in this, which was something way out of both mine and my boyfriend’s comfort zone. ( Because I booked other itineraries is also canceled 😭😭😭) But Laura keeps in touch with us, and she said that the weather will get better on Friday. We paadled from Gozo to Camino and back with some stop at wonderful places, that can not be visited with the big ships. The tour was around three hours, and a bit tiring on the arms, but such good fun! We were sent photos she had taken of us the next day which were great. We had an amazing day with our amazing guide Stu! Communication with the team in advance was fantastic as well. The full day chillin was our favourite part of our Malta holiday and we would and will recommend the tour to everybody visiting Malta. The kayaking itself was a lot of fun, but especially the caves we visited were beautiful gems.

The full day chill kayaking with Viv at Kayak Gozo was not only great fun but great value.,
She was knowledgeable and gave us plenty of information both before and during the paddle. They provided a delicious homemade lunch.
Plenty of opportunities to swim and snorkel away from the crazy, busy Blue Lagoon but even prettier areas without the crowds. We were able to walk to see fascinating caves on Camino and paddle inside various caves too.
Would recommend this trip as they keep the groups small and try to put you together with people with similar paddling experience which helps.

We had great trip out with Laurie (25/7/23) we were both kayak novices but had an amazing time and never once felt out of our depth or as if we were slowing anyone down, Laurie was an amazing guide and we saw and swam in some amazing places, lunch was delicious. The tour never felt rushed and we fitted so much in, got some amazing photos as a memento of our trip.
Highly recommend Kayak Gozo, an amazing way to explore and see the islands from a different perspective.

Had an amazing day here, our guide was so fun and helped navigate us to all the best spots. We explored some caves around Gozo before heading over to Comino to explore even more amazing caves. We docked up for a swim in the sea and some lunch which was really good. We then had a little walk out to one of the caves we’d seen earlier and jumped into the sea from there - this was definitely my favourite part. After swimming, jumping, checking out all the fish around us and having a blast, we headed back to the kayaks and carried on to Blue Lagoon for a quick stop off. A couple more caves then back over to Hanoq Bay where we started.
Absolutely amazing day, we all had the absolute time of our lives!

We thoroughly enjoyed our day of kayaking with Dawn. She was amazing and so enthusiastic. It’s tough work at times but so worth it. You get to visit swimming spots on Comino that aren’t full of tourists. We had lunch at the Blue lagoon which was busy but being a small group was great as we were in charge of our own timetable. Lunch was a pasta salad which was delicious and we had brought our own sandwiches too. The dry bag was perfect and none of our stuff got wet. You definitely need to be able to put in a bit of physical work as its a fair bit of kayaking. Excellent snorkelling spots with the clearest water we’d ever seen. We were all very thrilled with our day and having previously done a boat cruise to blue lagoon, we much preferred the kayaking as a way to see Comino. We missed out on doing this last year due to poor weather and were so disappointed but it was most definitely worth the year long wait! Dawn got lots of photos of us and they turned out great. Couldn’t recommend this tour and Dawn highly enough.

The tour was wonderful. Chris is a very good experienced guide and paddler who loves to laugh and showed us all the secret corners on Comino in a relaxed way, beautiful caves and rock arches. The equipment is very good, good kayaks, waterproof bags and jackets. Lunch was very tasty, lovingly made fresh pasta salad and homemade power bars. Chris took a lot of photos, which were made available to us promptly.

We booked the tour as an alternative to the extremely overcrowded boat tours. Our friendly guide Sam greeted us warmly and gave us a short briefing. Then we went out on the water in the sturdy kayaks. We were helped in and out of the kayaks at all times and we were able to swim and snorkel in any bay we wanted. For lunch we had fantastic pasta, homemade peanut butter bars and fruit. We visited caves and bays that were not accessible to boats and had a wonderful time with a great guide. Thank you for the experience and we would love to do it again.

My wife and I booked two places before leaving the uk, the booking was confirmed and we supplied height and weight detail as requested. we heard nothing further until after our arrival in Malta. We are both experienced sea canoeists but have done several similar trips around the world all of which were staightforward and lots of fun. At some point on our arrival on the island we recieved a message that we had been allocated a double canoe , which was not what we had asked for, we requeste a change to two single boats which resulted in a series of messages asking about our swimming ability, experience etc at to which i replied . Eventually the company claimed to have discovered it had exceeded the 'legal limit on numbers' and requested we cancelled the booking. I cannot comment on the companys competence on the water, but the lack of clarity within the booking system resulted in a lot of wasted time and spoilt our holiday.

Thank you for your feedback. Of course, we want everyone to have a positive experience with us, so we take this kind of feedback seriously. I have looked in detail at the correspondence between you and our booking team.
We received your booking shortly after working hours on 3 May and responded the following morning confirming your booking and that you would have a double kayak through the TripAdvisor/Viator portal and by WhatsApp.
We state in our product description that “double kayaks will be provided to even numbered groups unless singles are specifically requested/approved at the time of booking.” But we understand that this information can be overlooked. We’ll see if there is a way we can make that information clearer. We first received your request for single kayaks the following afternoon when you responded to our confirmation message. Maltese maritime law limits us to only 6 kayaks out on the water per guide for safety reasons and we were already at 5 kayaks for the tour. In reviewing the correspondence, our colleague only realised after asking you our standard safety questions for single kayakers that there was no space available for the extra boat that day. I understand that that may have been frustrating for you and we will look at how we can avoid that in the future.
We offered you alternative dates, alternative tours and the opportunity to contact us directly and chat with us, but were unable to find a match for your availability or the weather. The offer to go out in a double kayak for the day you originally requested was still available. But as I understand it, you did not want that, and you asked to cancel.
I would be happy to chat with you to discuss how we could have offered you better service and to look at our protocols to see if we can improve our service to our clients in the future. We always do our best to give our kayakers the best service we can and will always do our best to keep improving our products and customer service!

We had a beautiful trip to Comino and along the coast of Gozo. It was stunning to see the clear blue water of the blue lagoon, but also all the caves around the island, where we had several stops to go for a swim or jumping into the water. Chris our guide was really open and a funny guy, he told us something about the caves and history of the island, but also asked always if everything is fine and what we want to see next or if we want to go swimming. So we really could organize the trip in the way the group wanted. He made us that we want to go kayaking again.

Thanks to Stu for a great day tour round Comino and all the nooks and crannies we would otherwise never have seen.
Stu is a super guide, making time for swimming, jumping off rocks, a bit of kayak instruction when required and the provider of cold drinks a a really good lunch.
It was all at a sedate pace in a group of 6 kayaks.
