About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Groovin_C0 contributionsWell-run tour with enthusiastic guideReally enjoyable day that ran very smoothly from pick up to drop off. The speedboat ride was really exhilarating, and Cedric our jeep driver and guide, was really knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Gozo.Written 11 January 2025
- leannerJ5148CC0 contributionsUnbelievableThis is the perfect way to spend a day, myself and my partner decided on the quads, from the pick up to boat ride and the jeep pickup everything was perfect we had mark as our tour guide… what a laugh showed us so many places we would’ve missed if we went on our own.. the traditional lunch was delicious and it’s well worth the money Ohh and mark is also a brilliant photographerWritten 9 January 2025
- N1469LHrossd0 contributionsGreat dayGeorge was a fantastic guide! He kept us on schedule. Personally, if the inland sea cave does not give boat tours the day of I would skip it. Staring at a cave from across the pond was not interesting. Besides that, great tripWritten 5 January 2025
- reflexgirl0 contributionsA fun day being shown the sights of GozoGreat day trip to Gozo. Organisation from hotel pick up to meeting our guide all ran smoothly. Our guide Vince was entertaining and knowledgeable. The itinerary is a good way to see the highlights of the island in a short space of time, and provides a good flavour of Gozo life which is more peaceful than Malta. The included lunch was tasty.Written 13 December 2024
- chrisrP4645AW0 contributionsDo not book if you want to see GgantijaVery disappointed. The ad said it would be optional to go to Ggantija temples, but upon arrival we were told we couldn't go unless our whole group wanted to. (Our guide then told the group it wasn't worth visiting, then told us we had to convince them to go) This was the reason we came on the trip and to say it's optional then not be given the option is false advertising. We couldn't even be dropped off there to see visit on our own. We were also not given a chance to swim, the calypso cave has been destroyed so not worth visiting, the jeep (small Suzuki) was very uncomfortable with 4 people in the back, particularly with the roof up. Lunch was mediocre at best. Craft market was just a tourist shop. The boat ride through the blue lagoon barely goes past the lagoon. The salt pans were cool, inland sea was a nice spot. For the money it costs, probably better to rent a car, uber or do the hop on hop off bus. When I reached out to the company about my experience they were unhelpful and refused to acknowledge my concerns and disappointment.Written 29 November 2024
- amandabX3774ER0 contributionsNeeds attention but good valueThe pickup process was somewhat chaotic, because nowhere on the minibus was the name Gozo Pride. The only name on the van and the driver’s T shirt was Edmund Garage. This together with several other excursion coaches in the same pickup spot, made identifying our transport very confusing. We had a good driver in Jason.who paused after a few miles for a quick scenic stop and showed us a map of 21 locations on the island. However none of us understood that not all of these locations are included in our day trip. The chosen route for our 5 hour trip would have been useful to know at the beginning as some locations were more interesting than others. The lunch was tasty. The ferry was on time. We felt overall it is good value for money but the finer details and level of expectation could have been managed better.Written 14 November 2024
- Sangene0 contributionsGreat experienceThe trip was well worthwhile. It was a great way to view the entire island within a limited timespan. Florence was our guide and she was delightful. Recommend!Written 2 November 2024
- 267aidanm0 contributionsJeep tour of GozoTook a jeep tour if Gozo Everything was so well organised from the hotel pickup in Sliema, the journey across Malta to the speed boat transfer to Gozo We then toured around approximately ten areas across the whole island in an open top jeep with two other customers and our guide Shaun. He was very knowledgeable and a good laugh. for the price we did a lot over around eight hours. Three course lunch was superb. I would absolutely recommend this excursionWritten 30 October 2024
- Julie R0 contributionsA great day outReally enjoyable trip with Connie as our guide. She was very knowledgable and funny. Bit bumpy at times but that was all part of the experience.Written 28 October 2024
- Jonathan B0 contributionsGreat day out!An excellent way to see Gozo and the wonderful coastline. Brilliantly orchestrated by George our guide. Lunch was fabulous too. Wonderful day!Written 25 October 2024
- Joshua H0 contributionsGreat overall valueThe overall experience was well worth the price. Pros: a local, professional driver, the small private boat to and from Gozo, plenty of time to explore the Citadella and the Cathedral. Cons: lunch was at the loudest restaurant I’ve ever been to and the food was inedible - a ground beef log served on top of freezer veg in gravy with burnt potatoes drowned in oil. Unnecessary stop at gift shop.Written 22 October 2024
- Wander7247230 contributionsGot shorted by 3 site locations because there's no time!! What??We got shorted by at least 3 locations sites, giving us options to choose what to visit from the itinerary we signed up. Always the excuse of we don't have time!!!! You're not going to get what you signed up for. They stop at 5 locating to pick up people, since no show, delay at the harbor and overtake their itinerarydidn't fulfill their promise. Trip advisor is higher priced than Maltese tourist site to book the same by at least 30.00$ as the English ladies shared their cost. Just FYI. Shop around.Written 19 October 2024
- X9769VXangier0 contributionsGreat trip, fun and well organisedWell organised and friendly staff. Our guide Charlie was friendly and entertaining, he checked what we wanted to do and adjusted the plan to suit. Would use company againWritten 12 October 2024
- manuelabZ7041QP0 contributionsOkay experiencePros: friendly driver, he knew a lot about the island and did a great job in accommodating different languages. You also get to see beautiful spots around Gozo Cons: Very rushed, we didn’t stay in one place for more than 15 minutes, other than lunch. Lunch was a joke. You get half a sausage and some potatoes with bread and a small bit of ice cream at the end. Not worth the price. Overall not what I was expecting at all, but good vibes.Written 3 October 2024
- lindarX6536YP0 contributionsFabulous tripGreat jeep tour we saw a lot of the island that you would not normally see. Our guide Florence was well informed of all aspects of the island. She made our sights and stopping points interesting. Our lunch was fabulous. Despite the rain we had a great day and I felt that Florence made the best of the weather , as we popped in a fabulous shop which sold some nice stuff to take home. There were plenty of free samples too !Written 3 October 2024

the activity was very nice. A boat riding to Gozo and back, riding Quadbike which was very interesting was included. we were visiting the landmarks of Gozo during the day and had enough time to take photos or walking around. the tour guide is a very nice guy and the whole team was very helpful and they know their job. this tour is highly recommended not only because of the items which include, but also during the hot month, being on the bike helps to tolerate the heat.

Had a great day with Michael our guide. He gave good clear instructions and great information at all the stops, and was checking in on everyone throughout the ride to make sure we were all happy. The day was well planned with hotel pick up, a small group ferry there and back, and pick up from the ferry to the quad bike base. And a 3 course lunch- which was basic hot food but tasty and catered to vegetarians too! There’s a few things/experiences you can pay extra for but all only a few euros each such as going on a small boat ride at the inland sea which are all worth a go.
Despite getting throughly drenched towards the end we had a great trip!- would recommend as a more interesting way to tour the island than the usual bus/jeep route

The day was brilliant. The tour was great with loads to see during the tour.
The transport was a bit crowded especially in these COVID times but everyone was masked up and people seemed comfortable.
I would say that maybe some more info about the things we were seeing would have been good but with 3 different nationalities on the tour I understand the challenges.
Lunch was a bit rubbish, I expected a bit more than bland tomato pasta and a boring cheese salad but overall it was an amazing experience that I would recommend to everyone.

We were super excited for this day out on Gozo and although Gozo is super beautiful and we managed to enjoy ourselves, I wouldn't recommend going on this tour. We only enjoyed ourselves, because we were together, not because of the great tour.
The tour guide wasn't very enthousiastic at all and rushed us through every stop. Our first stop was at a beach, but we only got 25 minutes there and he complained when some of us didn't make it back in time (couple of minutes). The lunch that was included might have been the worst food I've eaten in a restaurant in years. We didn't expect a fancy menu, but at least for it to taste good, which it didn't. The chicken my partner had was so dry, you might as well eat sand. The cheese salad I had, lacked any flavour and was just some lettuce thrown together with bell pepper/paprika and any cheap cheese.
The only stop that was fun, was fun because of the boat tour operators at that spot. The azure window! Definitely worth a visit and tip the boat tour operators, they're amazing! The other fun spot is a small souvenir shop that sold honey, jam and liqour, but again we only had about 5-10 minutes there. You could just visit it yourself.
When we stopped at seemingly interesting spots, our guide would tell us the minimum. Sometimes we wouldn't even stop, because he was in such a hurry.
The worst response I got that day from our guide was at Ta' Pinu. We stopped at the far right side and I asked him if I could take a picture closer to the centre or walk around and his response was: "We don't have enough time. You can just google it. Same picture." Which was his attitude throughout most of the day. We could just google all the info to the spots, so why should he tell us anything?
Other tour staff weren't very friendly either. The only welcoming person we met, was a French woman, who welcomed us right after coming of the boat, but she stayed with the Jeeps. She deserves a raise.
Despite all this, we managed to make the best out of a stupid situation and sing and laugh on the quad bike.
I was thinking of giving this 1 star, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, considering it was quite hot that day and at the end of the day, our guide actually made an effort to talk to us.
If you want to visit Gozo on a quad bike, I recommend hiring one yourself once you get there and seeing the island yourself.

Dear Annemi,
Thank you for taking your time to review us.
As you mentioned yourself, this is a tour and we need to respect the beginners which probably you were one of them. We cannot drive fast to gain time when many of the clients never drove a quad before. We allocate extra time for situations like these and as you mentioned yourself, the leader stopped you for a picture at Ta Pinu Shrine, which is not even on our itinerary. I am glad that the leader was pulling your attention when you were exceeding the time on the stops as if all clients stays how long they want on each stop this will create a disaster in the end and due to this you will not have enough time in the rest of the stops. As you said yourself, if you want to plan your own itinerary then either take a private tour or rent a quad and do it your way like you suggested but you cannot book a tour and expect to do what you want without respecting the rest of the clients.
With regards to the google comment, I spoke to the leaderand he said that you were late on every stop and not respecting the rest of the clients and you asked the leader to turn back again for you to take more pictures which cannot happen because of the timing especially when you were late on every stop.
Regarding the lunch, I will check with the restaurant, but if you chose chicken without sauce It might be a bit dry, but I think it would have been better if you spoke to the waitress at the restaurant to change it for you as it wouldn’t have been a problem.
Have a nice day!

The trip was great. The transfer picked us up from our hotel and we went with a private boat to Gozo. The Tourguide was very friendly. Lunch was actually better than expected in a great restaurant.
On the tour we made a lot of stops to see the islands
For the price I would definitely recommend the quad tour.

We were picked up by a mini bus a 2 minute walk from our hotel which took us to the ferry (the private boat wasnt available as the sea was a little too rough in the monring) we left the ferry to be greeted by a guide who then took us and a few others to the starting point in a truck. We were then shown how to use the quads with our tour guide mike! An absolute pleasure to be guided by! We stopped at a few breathtaking places and although we paid for one passenger and one driver we were allowed to swap as and when we wanted. When we were done at around 4 we were taken back to the docks where we had a private boat take us back to the same place we were picked up at the start. I honestly cant recommend this tour enough for the scenery and overall enjoyment! Massive thanks to Mike and denise for the highlight of our stay!

This was great value for money.
Excursion started with a boat trip to Gozo, before we took off on Quad bikes through the streets of Gozo.
Lots of stops to view the city and learn about the city while cruising on the quad bikes.
We managed to even stop at local shops to buy things and had a break at a restaurant for lunch.
During this excursion there was also an opportunity to go on a boat ride to see some amazing sights.
If you love driving and want to catch some sights while doing this, this is definitely one to go for.
Excellent guide who really cared about safety, comfort and pleasure of the customers.
Well recommended!!!

My daughter and I had the “powerboat” ride and quad tour of Gozo.
It was a day of two halves, starting very badly when a rude bus driver shouted out names at our hotel. I approached to ask if it was the quad bike tour and then look at the two names on the list which were not mine. As such we went back to the hotel and waited. 20 mins later I had a call from the quad bike tour company saying that the bus had been and we were not there!?! Not the case I explained but was told to get a taxi and the boat would be waiting for us. We did get a taxi… but the boat wasn’t waiting.
It did turn about 25 minutes later and my daughter and I were taken across to Gozo and then taken up to the meeting point in Gozo. The staff and English chap that got us there was very nice.
Things did improve, the quad was very easy to use and we have a great tour guide (German chap - can’t remember his name). It did subsequently turn out on the tour that they had booked me under a different name for the day?!? Not sure how that happens especially as I had emailed the day before to check on pick up time etc but there you go.
Lunch was great and we got to have a couple of swims and see the caves on island.
The tour was great and would recommend but I’m sad to say they lose stars based on the pick up situation which I received not apology for given it was the companies mistake!
Therefore - tour and lunch 5*
Pickup - 1*

Excellent tour, went all around the island and saw so many different sites of interest. Would definitely recommend as we all thoroughly enjoyed the day.
Only downside is that due to there being so much to see, you cannot get off the quad and go into ta' pinu for example or any other churches, as it really is a whistle stop tour.
The guide is brilliant, however the busses too and from the tour were fully occupied. Our bus had every seat full (over 14 people) and you were seated next to people you hadn't even met on the tour and a large number weren't wearing masks! We were so concerned, we almost booked a private taxi to take us back to the hotel, which we thought was ridiculous. No way should the transport be filled up like this, especially in such times! It should be made clear to all guests that they should be wearing masks; most importantly when the bus was this packed!!! The numbers need to be reduced and more transport used to get guests too and from the tour

Absolutely amazing experience, the best thing we did on our trip to Malta, would recommend to anyone! Leeam was our guide who was absolutely fab. We visited so many places in Gozo and the quad was so much fun. If you are torn between jeep and quad then 100% go for the quad, it’s worth it!
We weren’t sure on clothing and ended up bringing way more than we needed. They sell ponchos for €5 so don’t worry about getting stuff it it’s raining. It’s all on roads so you don’t get dirty or anything.
We shared a quad which I would recommend if you are in a group as is nice to have a go driving and then also have some time to look around

I can see food is provided, however me and my husband are vegetarian. Do you provide vegetarian food? That will include no eggs and no fish.

is it possible to be picked up in Gozo. i don't need lunch as on a detox. just water. what is the price for me?

Hello,
The ad says the tour lasts 24 hours. Is that really the case? Also, do you cater for vegans. Finally, is there a reduced price if we are staying in Gozo and don't need the boat trip?
Thanks!
