Terrible malta aight aeeing exoerience hip on hop ofd
Very loe level of professionalism. We were a group of 10 travelers stayin st. Julians travelling one day yo Gozo (day trip) and another day taking the north (blue line) to Mdina. Initially, they told us that apart from hotel transport in the price of 42 euroa it was included also the bus.until.chiricww port and also the tickets from chiricww to mgarr (gozo) however once arrived we had to pay 4.65 euroa each of us. Then once we arrived to gozo island, green line bua was expecting us for tour route for free but unfortunately we had to pay another 5 euros. Thw next day when i asked.the office employee of malta sightseeing in st julians he was.extremely arrogant, provocative and insulting me refusing everything. Above all, he was full od irony because i had a car accident in my country and a wounded hand before visiting malta, he told.me A) first that he is self.employed.and not working for.malta sightseeing B) ful of irony thay because i am.complaining i had my hand wounded and also bullying me that he is going to break me also my other hand and also bullying all our grouo to disappear abd dont come again to the island. I.am.48 years old lawyer and i am.feeling offended and insulted as personality. Congratulations malta sightseeing for such insulting, brutal, rude offensive and liars employees. Tereible.experience Definitely not reccomended and alsi very low level people working in that company, at least the 55-60 yeara ald at 09.30 22/4/2024 at st. julians hop om off station of your company. I reserve any legal (civil amd crimimal liability rights) from.such incident and please tell.me who.whas that employee because he denies to give me his name

      DON’T DO IT!
Wish I read the reviews before we went on this tour, it’s not something we would normally do but seemed a good way to see the island - how wrong can you be?! When the bus arrived there was a free for all to get on board and upstairs which we didn’t manage. No explanation of how to tune head phones into your language and some points didn’t work. The descriptions were sparse and you couldn’t see the things from the bus anyway. After another free for all getting back on the bus after our first stop we decided not to get off again and returned to Sliema where the tour ended. It was a total waste of money, quite stressful and very badly organised, DONT DO IT!

      Cannot recommend
This is undoubtedly one of the worst hop on hop off tours we have been on & we have been on many. We usually consider it a good way to get oriented in a new place. This was just a very old bus. There was VERY little information but LOTS of annoying music played through the headphones.

      An average experience
This tour did what we required, however local buses would have achieved the same end result. The open top was nice but although we were on the second bus of the day the front window was fithy and lessened the experience from the start. This is not a difficult thing to fix. Of the 8 different seats we sat in, only one socket worked so we could not listen to the commentary - this was one of the reasons why we'd chosen this tour and regret not reading the reviews beforehand. We had a dreadful experience in Mdina, which appeared the same for all the open top buses companies. Too many people trying to get onto buses, confusion over which buses to take and a real risk of someone being seriously injured. Passengers were pushing and shoving to ensure they got on the bus and any queuing system went out of the window. Furthermore, one of the seat belts wasn't working. The timetable wasn't accurate from Golden Bay and, had we stuck with the published time, rather than arriving early, cwe would have been stranded. Overall, we got to see the island but wouldn't rush to do this again. Consider public transport as an alternative. These issues are all easy fixes for the tour operators.

      Waste of time and money
We have taken many Hop On/Hop Off tours around the world, as a basis to get the lay of the land and to know which areas to return to. This, sadly, was the worst and didn't help in any way. The commentary was sparce at best and felt like a waste of money, particularly as the local bus service is so good.

      Bad organisation
The tour in the harbor does what it promise but the organisation was really bad and at the end of the tour when we have to take the bus back to La Valletta nobody tell us where to take it ( the boat stops in a different place) and which was the bus ( and was a different one) so we lost it and there are one every hour. So we take a taxi. Take another tour.

Everything that's been said already plus a disabled perspective.
Everything that's been said already plus a disabled perspective. Good points Outbound adequate transfer from Buliba to Selena adequate. Driver on return was polite, helpful and above all we felt safe in stark contrast to the open top bus drivers. One was speaking hands free on his mobile for the entire trip and gesticulating with one hand constantly so driving with one hand. Anger management an issue with other road users. Did not stop at designated photo stops but instead stopped for 10 mins at a back street cafe. Another was smoking whilst driving and unsuccessfully trying to hide it. Smoke in the bus - a health hazard and possibly illegal? Not all disabilities are visible. Bus pulled up 4 feet from kerb and when it was pointed out to him that this was not consistent with the company's statements about disability, instead of offering to help he asked me if I could do any better! I said probably not but pointed out how other buses on the same bay were accessible from the kerb due to better driving. Only half the audio points in disabled seats worked and some wheelchair spaces has normal fixed seats fitted.

      Absolutely appalling .
This is an absolutely shocking and appaling service, but they won't care as they will always sell tickets. Firstly they sell as many tickets as they can, leaving people standing on an aisle or on the stairs, unable to hear the commentary from the 2p headphones ,Many commentary portals not working, and I mean many. As so many people buy tickets ,the bus is always absolutely rammed full, very unsafe to be honest. At Mdina ,we waited for the bus, only for it to get full quickly and shut the bus doors ,leaving dozens unable to get on. When the next bus arrives it may only be able to take so many as people may not want, again your stuck. This service is an ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY AND YOU'RE TIME. It's not enjoyable in the slightest, not relaxing,in any shape or form. DO NOT, even consider buying 2 or 3 day tickets, with the transparent silly deal they think we will fall for. Tried to sell me a ticket for a harbour cruise when I bought the bus ticket, wasn't interested then they knocked 50% off. If you're still thinking of buying a ticket after this then BARTER ,but my advice would be ,get a bus, anything but these clowns. Please head my words ,just don't do it.

      Good but...there are better alternatives...
We took this tour with ISeeMalta. Good things: They picked us up from our hotel in Mellieha and there was some decent commentary. Not so good things: They didn't warn people about stops that were coming up. With it being hop on hop off, there's no control about how many get on at each stop. So you might not be lucky and manage to get on. The tour all the way around takes a few hours so essentially you only really have time for one stop - otherwise (in our case) you miss the connection to your hotel. We stayed on until Mdina. We were going to get off at the artisan village, but due to delays (a ticket inspector had an argument with a couple who had paid at their hotel but didn't have the correct receipt), traffic congestion, and that the village looked deserted. Top tip. Get local busses. Still get stuck in traffic, but they announce every stop. And they're cheap.

Dreadful time keeping, unknown fullness, stressful day. Use the red buses or bolt taxis.
Do not use. Use the red bus service instead or better still a series of Bolt taxi rides. 30min wait before departure, ok we just missed the earlier one, but even then we left late. then a hair raising charge through narrow streets to catch up time. The real problem is the complete unreliabilty of time keeping and the strange criss crossing routes. It takes ages to get to where you want and most of the day is spent waiting for indeterminately late buses or sitting on them waiting for them to leave. Audio narrative really not worth it. At 60 euros for 3 of us, it made no economic sense when bolt rides were about 10 euros for 3 or 4 of us, even from Victoria to the port. 60 euros buys more bolt trips than you would need and gets you around much much quicker without any of the unknown delays, which can become very stressful if you are trying to catch ferries. Seriously - do not use

      Bad experience
Nice trip around Malta spoiled by driver who didn’t stop where we needed despite being told as”it was on wrong side of road”. Eventually dropped 2.6 km and told to wait 30 minutes for next bus that would take us to correct stop as driver was finishing…. Really???

South island hop on hop off bus
This south island tour spends a lot of time driving through and around more built up areas of the island compared with the north island tour. Lots of good stops on the way around but you need to book for some of the attractions and off season, other attractions not open. Upper level very windy and exposed so don't forget sunscreen, scarf and hat. Can be cold in the late afternoon.

      A good experience overall.
Boat was smaller than expected and we arrived 20 minutes before departure to find only a few seats left. The actual harbour/3 cities tour was excellent though, with a good commentary on the way round. Really good to see things from the sea which gave a different perspective and some of the views were spectacular. Lots of good photo opportunities.

Supreme cruises gets you from A to B and that's it. As the blue lagoon is so amazing that is all thats needed as the destination makes up for any discomfort when travelling. The drinks included were warm and flat so we only had 4 of our combined 10, I would recommend bringing drinks and not bothering with the free ones or just buying a can as they were reasonably priced on board. The sandwiches provided were surprisingly nice and made for a decent lunch. The staff however were not good. They were borderline rude and made no effort to make us feel welcome. This was epitomised when a member of staff took a wee directly Infront of us (and plenty of other passengers) without shutting the toilet door. The speaker doesn't work on the ground floor so we had no idea what was going on which was particularly confusing as all the wrist bands had different meanings and it was never explained what ours provided.

A trip that is not as much as they tell you: you don't have time at all to see the islands (only 45 minutes in Blue Lagoon), you don't get to see Gozo (you only pass by the island, not landing in it). You spend most of the time into the ship. In addition, we were told that the free bar service lasted 2 hours, but that's not true, only 1 hour and 30 minutes, and they only offer you beer, wine and soft drings (no cocktails included). Besides, it takes hours to do the queue both for getting the fod and the drink.

We do not recommend it at all. It was crowded of people and the staff was not organized. They think more of the money they can get (70 euros per person) than of the quality of the service.

Booked with Supreme, should have done more research. Got told we would be on the big boat, ended up on the sail type boat with not enough seating for everyone. Got told that we could hop off the boat at Blue Lagoon to go to the beach, made the assumption that we could use the boat as a base. Wrong. Everyone had to hop off at Blue Lagoon and we’re told that we could use the facilities on any Supreme boat, ours apparently had to go and ferry other passengers. There were no Supreme boats at Blue Lagoon, so no facilities to be used. The water is amazingly clear and clean but immensely overcrowded. Lucky we had taken our own food and drink because we would have been unable to purchase from the Supreme boats that were not there.
We paid €30 for 2 deck chairs perched on a rock. Make sure to take beach feet so that you can walk easily on the volcanic rock and climb in and out of the water without slipping.
Boat turned up promptly for our 4 pm departure, a big scramble to get down the rocks to board. We were told that we would be returned to Sliema, again we made the mistake of assumption. Surely it would be by boat. No, we were offloaded at a port onto a bus to wind our way back to Sliema. Not at all what we were expecting. A very disappointing experience. Beware

Booked 1 day cruise Gozo, Comino & Blue Lagoon through 'Central Holidays'. Only 35 mins in Gozo rather than 75 stated which gave no time to see sights, this was a waste of time given the long travel on the boat. On the outward journey we laid on the sunbeds, nowhere did it tell us there was a charge, then the captain demanded 10 euros each and said if we didn't pay that he'd leave us on the island! I was so disappointed in the day that I tried their 'chat line' for a refund but there was no response so I went to the tour operator shop and politely explained our experience and they were extremely rude, fair to see we never got a refund.
    Don't book with them.

Do not book in advance. Our trip was cancelled without any notice. We basically arrived there, waited for departure, only to hear that the trip is cancelled. We re-booked and went to the hop on hop off sightseeing in Gozo, which was 10 euro cheaper. We were supposed to get a 10 euro refund, the person who sold us the trip doesn't respond and we are being pushed around from one person to another, hoping that we will leave before we can get a refund. Joke's on them, one of us lives here :)

Proceed with caution an absolute scam. We were told that there would be multiple stops. Lies. We were practically held hostage on that boat for hours. The food was unseasoned and inedible. ‘Unlimited drinks’ were only available during lunch which consisted of half a cup of coke. Pretty sure the boat was overcrowded with multiple people clearly in the early stages of heat stroke. Never ever again. If you choose to do a boat cruise hire a private one with a reputable company.

Risk your life at sea surrounded by the same company’s speedboats making very dangerous stunts meters away from you in a crowded bus and boat maskless trip. The Blue Lagoon was incredible, though. But that’s nature’s work.

The man who sold us the tickets saw that I use sticks to walk with but didn't mention that we would have to climb a steep, treacherous path when we got off the boat.

I don't know how anyone has gotten pictures of the Blue Lagoon without it being crowed with boats and people. Really crowed.

The ad says that the boat will be available all the time at Comino, but it was coming and going. The first one I tried to get back on cut loose as I waved and called out. I ended up getting help to descend the trail and board another one that arrived and ended up going back and forth to Gozo for over an hour before leaving at last for Malta island. Not a good day.

If I ever go to the Blue Lagoon again, I will take one of the boats that has a slide into the water and a ladder back onto the boat. That way you only have to deal with the crowd on your own boat.

Organised and a lovely trip out. We were picked up from the hotel and then driven to the pontoon. We did have to wait 10/15 mins for the boat to arrive but this wasn’t an issue, we liked to look at the boats that were moored there in Buggiba. The boat ride was fine, we didn’t have any food or drink. We bought the ticket to go to Gozo, instead of just comino, and it was a great decision. We boarded a sightseeing bus that took us into Victoria, told us so many interesting things/history about Gozo. I adored the centre of Gozo. We ate at a little restaurant called cafe Diaz, best pizza and coffee ever!
Only a personal opinion of swimming on rocky areas but I wasn’t overly keen on the blue lagoon. I have been here before a few years back but I remember being driven there on a boat and then swimming in the water, not near the shore. Do not wear flip flops, wear closed toe shoes and bring your snorkelling kit. It was very fun, but watch out for the sea urchins as your getting in and out of the water.
We also went on the weekend of the Malta International air show, the red arrows flew directly over the boat. Made me incredibly proud to be British while watching them do their stunts in-front of the boat.

Absolutely appalling went on the Delfini which was one of our worst days in Malta. Over crowded and by the time we made it to the bar deck no more food left. There were 3 of us and we only had 3 drinks because of the boat being over crowded and couldn’t make our way there because of the over crowding. No showers on board and we were told to leave the boat as they were not staying what happened to relaxing on board. They dropped us in spot, when returning we waited there with everyone else.they moored in different spot and we had to climb back up the cliff then walk another 50m and back down the cliff.

Absolutely rubbish cruise seriously do not go on the Delfini.

    REFUND IS A MUST
