Always worth a trip out. Captain Jack is the best.
Another great day on the Jolly Roger. Perfect for families especially SEN children as it's active but not over stimulating. Take floats for the sea as none onboard. Food was good and remember change for drinks from the bar. Photos were amazing and 5 euros each printed. Some lovely shots of my girls. Think we are just outgrowing it sadly as turning 9. A frequent visit when we travel to Paphos.

          Ruins and wine tasting.
Enjoyed all aspects of the day and the various stops included. The guide gave an excellent overview and potted histories of Cyprus and the places we visited. As we were first pick-up and last drop off, it did make it quite a long day ( about 9.5 hours in total ). This was the only real downside to the day. The meal was delicious although wine wasn't great. Ruins and Amphitheatre were well worth seeing. Village pretty and not too bustling. Vineyard was very informative with nice wines to taste and buy. And then a history lesson to top it off on the way home from the guide, Chris. Not to mention our driver Nacho was fantastic.

          Wonderful day out
What a fantastic day. We had a lovely time and saw some amazing things. The boat trip was great, and the 4x4 safari was excellent. We had a very informative and knowledgeable guide. I highly recommend this tour.

Great day aboard the Jolly Roger ! 🏴‍☠️
Just returned from a day on board the Jolly Roger with our 3 year old. Was very quiet due to school term times which meant my little boy could take part and was engaged throughout. Jack pigeon and pirate (Padi(?) were fantastic throughout, they clearly loved what they did and were enthusiastic, happy and in character throughout the trip. Perfect day out on the sea with a little person in tow! Thanks to the fantastic staff.

A nice trip to the Troodus mountains
We enjoyed our visit to the Caledonian Falls . Our day started with a visit to a fruit farm , where we got to sample some of their produce , which was nice . The walk itself, is on uneven paths ,with largish stones , which required climbing over , in order to reach the waterfalls . For the more agile amongst us ( Not me , I’m afraid ) you could walk from the top down . Mum , Hubby & me opted to start our walk from the bottom up to the falls , as we are all pensioners . We are fairly fit and do quite a lot of walking back home but this walk was in 30 degrees and all uphill . The TUI tour guide , advised us that the walk would be a bit much for us , so thank you for the advice , it would have been . The restaurant for a late lunch was at Psilo Dendro , a lovely location with good food . We had a brief stop at Aphrodite’s rock before heading back to our respective hotels . A good tour , excellent guide but consider the weather if you wish to book this tour .

This cruise was amazing. The children had an amazing time and I was could do it again 100 times. The staff were friendly, including the bar staff and the entertainment. Highly recommended

          It's a no from us.
Not impressed. Nobody interacted with our children, good awful, too crammed. Money grabbing. Would not recommend. Not worth the price or time.

          A bit disappointing
Boat trip was fine, but there was too much hanging around before. The beach was not great nor the baths. We had a nice meal on the front.

Good old fashioned fun for children
The Jolly Roger (no D in Roger!) and Captain Jack Pigeon (no D in Pigeon!) provide a good four hours of simple old fashioned fun. The trip included a number of activities, all were just the right length of time to keep the atttention of the children. The activities included Pirate Training, a very good magician, some dancing. There was an opportunity to have a swim. The buffet food was good quality and plenty of it. In these days where smart phones and pads are everywhere The Jolly Roger is an excellent way to revisit some fun outside of the digital world.

          Fantastic Family Pirate Adventure
If you are looking for a fantastic family boat trip look no further. Packed with entertainment for the kids (suitabl3 for ages 3 to about 10/11 in my opinion), my little one (4yo) had a fantastic time. There is a bar for the adults to enjoy a cold drinks while the kids are busy dancing and getting involved with pirate training! For a small additional charge there was also the option to go out on the dolphin twister (super fast speedboat ride for adults and kids to enjoy). The whole crew were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Great value for money and all round throughly enjoyable afternoon out!

          Pleasant but could be improved
We really enjoyed the first stop, the walk into the gorge, we were sensible though, you need shoes you can properly walk in, this is not suitable for flip flops, heels, sandals. Make sure you take plenty of water it’s very hot in the summer months. Next stop was a cafe - they did take card! Go to the toilet here! Then a viewpoint and Aphrodite’s bath before lunch. Lunch was a little disappointing, lots of carbs and a bit of chicken and a salad. The vehicle was a td5 landrover, we are a family of four sat in the back, a mother and two kids were sat on a row behind the driver with a mother and daughter up front with the driver. We read lots of reviews about how good the guides were. Ours was talking about lot to the woman in the front but we couldn’t hear him up at the back, with the windows and the breeze it was impossible to hear him. He perhaps needs some kind of intercom speaker system. For the price we paid I was surprised we were not provided with water, a cool box strapped on the top of the lady with some bottles of water would have gone down a treat. The boat to the blue lagoon was packed and there wasn’t enough room for everyone to sit. Wine and watermelon offered out at the start of the journey was excellent. We took our own snorkels and the snorkelling wasn’t very impressive, my son did get a new pair of sunglasses he found on the bottom of the sea though. Overall I think it was a nice trip but I’m not convinced it was worth the money.

Misleading title which needs to change
Very misleading title on this trip. Fireworks are band on Cyprus as of April 2024. Having said that we had an outstanding time. The entertainment, food and party atmosphere was excellent. Would have loved to end with fireworks but it is understandable. Should have been informed before the trip. Still listed now as including fireworks. Would recommend this as an evening to remember with quality acts and excellent service.

          Good tour
Great tour, great value for money. With the exception of the free seasonal fruits advertised has we had only oranges available on the boat everything else was amazing.

          Two sides of Nicosia
A very interesting and informative trip from Paphos to Nicosia with our guide excellent Chris giving us a real insight into the history of Cyprus told in a relaxed and easy to take in manner. The trip itself was full of interesting stops. First of all at St Johns Cathedral to see the marvellous frescoes inside the church, then the Liberty monument and on to Nicosia where we had a small lunch which was included in the price in the Buyuk Han, a complete Ottoman caravansarai. Afterwards cross into Turkish Nicosia, which was good for about an hour's stroll, unfortunately the Selimiye Mosque was closed for renovations then back for a look around Nicosia.

Highly recommended after exploring much of Cyprus - this tour covered amazing historical areas with a personable, wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide - Eva.

Really have to book this tour with a guide to appreciate the history, plus you will receive a personal and private and educational wine-tasting, along with a tasty lunch. All inclusive so you won't have to worry about a thing and can enjoy the ride :)

        Booked through Tui.

This was a really good excursion day with variety and enough to keep you entertained for the majority.

Our tour guide Cris was excellent; funny, knowledgeable and approachable.

We were picked up from our hotel with several other couples and headed for Kourion first, the excavation site of an ancient town. This was my personal highlight. There are preserved mosaic floors and heating systems, as well as a theater which is used for performances to this day. Fantastic views for photos.

Afterwards it was in to Kolossi Castle, which is a rebuild of an earlier castle, this one dating from the 15th century. Not a lot to see here, it's really just a shell, but good views from the top.

The winery was next, found along winding roads up into the Troodos Mountains. The tasting was interesting and with variety, and this was our first introduction to the much-talked-about Commandaria sweet wine.

The final stop was Omodos, a small village in the mountains, which is where we ate our meal. It was quaint and quiet, with a large monastery steeped in history.

        A few observations we made;

        - The meal in itself was nice, and we as vegetarians were catered for specifically. However we were packed into the corner of the restaurant as a whole group, making it impossible for anybody to get out to use the toilet. This would have been better with smaller tables.

        - Probably could have used a little less time in Omodos overall. Though it looks to have a few smaller streets off the main one, they all seem to lead to residences.

        - The winery was beautiful. It was a shame that as soon as the tasting, and buying, was over we had to leave. Instead of spending as much time in Omodos, it would've been lovely to have been given the option of a glass of wine of our choice, even if we had to pay for it extra, to enjoy the scenery that the winery provided.

We had to walk to Lidl to be picked up even though the mini bus went passed our hotel.
The first stop was Aphrodite’s rock where the car park and I use that term loosely was really muddy and we were left to look at this rock for 20 minutes then it was on the Kourion which was well worth seeing.
A journey to Kolossi Castle was OK but I feel the stay there was a bit long.
On then to a Taverna for lunch, having read a previous review I did ask the guide if we could have a table for two but was told bluntly NO. The food was very poor not at all to our liking.
The wine tasting was next and all it was really was a shop giving a taster of the wines they wanted to sell us.
Free time in Omodus followed where we went to a restaurant and enjoyed a pizza !!! The best past of our trip where we had fun time with a local family.
