About
A unique Mozart experience in the Baroque Hall of St. Peter Stiftskulinarium, Europe´s oldest Restaurant (est. 803 a.d.) By visiting our performance you will be taken back to Mozart’s time. Enjoy an evening likely to have taken place in 1790 - in the baroque hall - lit by candles, having a 3-course-dinner based on historical recipes, listening to a concert with musicians in authentic costumes and the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Enjoy the best arias and duets of Mozart´s most beloved operas "The Magic Flute", "Don Giovanni" and "Le nozze di Figaro" as well as the very famous first movement of "A Little Night Music". And this music is most important to us. We celebrate it. Every single evening!

The singers (if you like opera) and especially the musicians were wonderful. Also the room is impressive. Unfortunately, the service was quite poor and the portions of food were very small.

The whole experience was magical for lovers of classical music. The service, food, ambience and concert was wonderful! Don't miss this experience while in Salzburg. Be sure to get there early enough to order your wine and get a good seat. You can also pay a little more to get premier dinner seating, but no table seat is really bad. We enjoyed the evening immensely.

Fist at all! I can’t thank you enough for making this night an amazing one! Thank you! Thank you!
What a magnificent experience, I took my husband here to celebrate his birthday, and when I booked the reservation I had made a note to “please write a happy bday my love” to the dessert course - if possible.
They went above and beyond expectations, first at all, they welcomed us to a beautiful room (you truly feel like royalty here), then Richard (our waiter) did a fantastic job at waiting all tables, he was great, very polite and wonderful to talk to.
Second, the staff let me know that they had received my request and will be taken care off.
Third, the artist are truly amazing and so talented, this is by far one of the most espectacular concerts I’ve been too, plus it feels like a private show just for you.
What I never expected was to have the performers and symphony to sing happy bday to and bring a beautiful cake with a fireworks candle, this brought tears of joy to my husband and for this I am forever thankful, you made this a unique experience.

This is a must go in Salzburg, by far our favorite evening!

You arrive in a beautiful room which resembles the st. peter’s cathedral (right next to it), which was last painted in 1908. The building/restaurant however dates back to 803, making it Europe’s oldest restaurant (!).

The wine selection is incredible, at about 50 pages. With prices between 20 - 2000 euro. I would highly recommend asking the head Sommelier Richard for advice. A really funny and smart guy, he made our night!

The opera singers and musicians were also amazing. great timbre, enunciation, and emotion were displayed.

all in all an evening we will not soon forget. and definitely worth every penny. (you can get a 10% discount with the Salzburg card if it’s still a bit steep for you).

Baroque Hall with a String Quartet performing various pieces from Mozart. Most pieces are recognizable from Mozart. The pair of singers are engaging, to the audience and to each other, in a humorous way.
Baroque era attire is worn by the performers. This is an intimate experience. The food is served in 4 or 5 courses with music between each course. Dinner is quite good.
We were able to be seated with other Americans, so the conversation was lively and fun. As shown with the photos, the venue is beautiful.
The location is in the old, walled in part of town. We parked under the mountain and walked to the restaurant.
Great fun and a memorable way to remember a trip to Salzburg, the home town of Mozart.

We had mid-week tickets for the Mozart dinner event; on arriving about 20 minutes before the start time, we were happy to have forward facing seats with a good all round view.
The musicians and vocalists were extremely talented and the hall itself was charming. We had done nothing like this before and both felt a sense of being in a different period. Although we recognised some of the music played, there was a lot we did not know but this did not affect our enjoyment. Having said this the show was just the right length – we may have started to wane had it been much longer. It worked well that starters, mains and deserts were provided during the intervals.
My wife is vegetarian which we highlighted in advance of our visit; appropriate alternative food was organised for her without any issues.
The food in general was quite basic but was nice. There were too many deserts made for the evening resulting in free additional ones being offered around which I benefitted from!
The drinks were expensive.
All round a pleasant experience.

A really fantastic concert in beautiful surroundings with musicians dressed in 18th Century clothes. The 2 soloists were excellent and sang duets from 3 of Mozart's famous operas. The musicians were also excellent. The 3 course dinner was very good too. The wines were rather expensive.

What an evening. Arrival by cab as no close parking for the rented vehicle we had. We were dressed in our finest as were most guests despite a few in jeans. Yes it is a pain to have to pack black tie attire for a three week international trip but highly suggested. The food was outstanding with a to die for dessert. We were seated at our own table for a party of four. We had pretty much our own waiter who was so very attentive and personable. The period costume concert was spell bounding. We paid for the top of the line experience and was well worth it..

Dear kathybb20182018, it was a delight to welcome you at the Mozart Dinner Concert. Thank you a lot for your 5 * rating and honoring all aspects of the evening. Regarding parking: The easiest and nearest place to park is the parking garage in “Mönchsberg”, the so called ALTSTADTGARAGE B. Access road is Neutorstraße > Hildmannsplatz 1. We offer a reduced parking rate. Only two minutes walking distance to St. Peter (Exit Toscaninihof, after that turn to the right and cross St. Peter’s inner courtyard). Best, Alexander Slanic-Watanabe Maître d' Mozart Dinner Concert
