    Excellent Tour
Really excellent tour. Guide is really knowledgeable. Pointed out stuff that we would have walked past without noticing. Avoided the crowded parts. Walk is suitable for most ages, but less interesting for younger children, not too many steps and not too long a walk. What we really appreciated was that although only two of us were on the tour, it didn't get cancelled.

Fredianio took myself & my cousin all around ‘back street Vienna’. He had a lot of knowledge of architectural styles and era’s. We got on famously as we had a shared interest. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience

    Private Tour
We truly enjoyed our 2-1/2 hour walking tour today with Herbert and his dry sense of humor. We had already been in Vienna for 3 days and he showed us spots we had walked by many times and missed! I really liked the historical photos and maps he showed us on his tablet.

    Top-Notch!
Herbert Stojaspal does not just ‘possess’ the characteristics of the ideal tour guide—he embodies them. His command of history, chosen route, ability to read the crowd and alter his often-humorous delivery accordingly set him apart. Don’t settle for tramping around and continuously jockeying for a position amongst the masses on a free tour—pay up and invest in your learning!

Great Walking Tour of Vienna with Herbert
Four of us travelling together had the pleasure of participating in the walking Hapsburg tour with Herbert as our guide on Sunday 26 August. We met in Michaelerplatz at the bank which we found after noticing the impressive multi story building newer than its adjoining buildings. (Yes Herbert we now know it had “Bank” written on the front at least 3 times!) Herbert’s knowledgeable and engaging tour was a highlight of our week in Vienna. Herbert knows his stuff about Vienna and it’s remarkable history. We recommend that you go with Herbert.

So many things we had missed!
We met our guide Herbert in St. Stephen’s Square and from the first few moments we began to learn about the history of Vienna. He had many images that were really helpful in imagining how old Vienna looked. I won’t tell you about what we saw as that will ruin the tour. We did learn about several things that we had walked by several times and had no idea of the significance. We learned about history, traditional foods, Mozart and WWII. We had lots of questions and all were answered along the way. We also stopped for a minute to say hi to the President of Austria as he passed by. I would certainly recommend this tour to anyone interested in the less touristy spots in central Vienna.

Must do 2 hour Vienna Tour with Herbert
My fiancé and I had an amazing experience and we were so glad we got the opportunity to learn about the history of Vienna. History can be as exciting and amusing as the historian can tell it. Herbert, clearly knew his history and helped tell the story in the dramatic way it that it really was with a spin of his dry humor. We were in Vienna for only only two nights, but highly recommend spending these two hours to learn about the rich history behind today’s Vienna with Herbert. It was very eye-opening! Simon and Holly

    Super
Our guide Herbert was excellent. He knows Vienna so well, and was able to explain so much to us. Also, the images and film segments on his tablet were an extra special aspect of this very thoughtful, interesting and inciteful tour.

Our guide was very competent and gave us an overview of Vienna's historical context as well as many details and anecdotes about customs, buildings and people in the city. He did this in a very entertaining and humorous way. The tour is a great way to get a first impression of Vienna and provides many starting points for possible further activities.

The tour was very informative, entertaining and offers an exciting insight into the history of Vienna and the Habsburgs. Since we were the only participants that day, we were able to ask any questions we had, which were answered expertly and confidently by our guide.
We definitely recommend it.
Thank you again for this great tour!

DO NOT GO ON THIS WALKING TOUR. The guide (I think his name is Herbert) started the tour with a racist xenophobic comment against me and my family in front of my 3 year old daughter. When I asked to cancel the tour and said that I wanted my money back he said he would not give back the money. Absolute and complete disaster.

The tour was hearty and fun. We’ve been showed around some most important nook of Vienna. History was never missed and a plus of tips and hints which help you plan the rest of your stay in Vienna. Mirko is both a historian and an entertainer, you will be acquainted with the past and at same time amused with his antics and singing. Thanks a lot Mirko, way to go!!!

Herbert was a great tour guide. Since the tour was brief, it was a good introduction into what we might like to see in more depth. I really recommend this tour if you've looked up what to do in Vienna and were also overwhelmed with the long list!

This was a perfect walking tour. Herbert was very knowledgeable of European history and the imperial dynasties. It was a very small group so he was able to be attentive to each of us with ease. He also provided very valuable touring tips to help us better enjoy our time in Vienna without getting ripped off.
Thank you Herbert. The tour was perfect.

We have been to Vienna several times, but this tour was really worth it - lots of exciting information that you would never find out by strolling through the streets or with a few pieces of information from the internet!
The tour guide was perfectly prepared and answered all questions in detail.
It was a small group and a relaxed atmosphere - so I really recommend it to every visitor to Vienna!

Perfect for travelers who want to explore Vienna on foot and learn its history from a local. Herbert, our guide, tells you about the significance and history of landmarks, sculptures, things to see, and info you can’t always find unless you talk to a local. Small group makes the experience so much more enjoyable!
