Highlight of our trip to Vienna!
The Wachau Valley Wine Tasting Bike Tour was a highlight from our trip to Vienna. It was a great way to get out of the crowds and enjoy the scenery. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. The wine was lovely and the food at our lunch spot was delicious! It was a lot of fun getting to know fellow travelers. I would highly recommend this tour when visiting Vienna!

Best day and tour outside Vienna!
This was by far our best day and tour while visiting Vienna. The Wachau Valley was beautiful! We had the perfect morning biking through the valley. Our guide Miguel was informative and provided us local history and helped make the tour fun for all. The wine in the region was great and lunch superb in the little town we stopped by. The funniest part of our tour was getting caught in the rain, which turned to hail. Thank goodness we were only about 10 minutes outside of the bike rental location… and we didn’t drop any of our wine bottles purchased- lol! Definitely a must do tour if you’re into being outside and biking, exploring amazing landscapes and love a good wine tasting! Enjoy

A Kodak moment on every turn.
Our trip was from Passau to Budapest. The staff were great, everything was organized and our eBikes were awesome. Loved the scenery and would recommend the journey to anyone. We are in our mid seventies and it was a piece of cake as far as level of fitness was concerned. The hardest part was finding our hotels especially in bigger cities which were off the river. If you’re booking your own hotels, try to get them close to the bike paths and Uber into the city for sightseeing and dinners. Was a GREAT trip!

      Wonderful intimate tour
My husband and I were first scheduled for the wine bike tour but due to weather switched to van tour. Our guide was wonderful ,super friendly and knowledgeable. Only three of us were on the tour. We stopped at 2 vineyards and had about 10 tastings. We also stopped at one of the local villages where we had an hour to explore. He guide recommended hiking up to the dürnstein castle for great views of the Danube; was totally worth the hike! We also enjoyed a stop at a beautiful local restaurant for lunch with our guide. The tour ended with a stop at the Melk Abbey. We really enjoyed this trip , it was an amazing day with a gracious guide( sorry I forgot his name was from Italy and played the drums- really made the day special) :)

      Great Biking Tour
Tour was absolutely wonderful! Miquel was delightful and so accommodating! One member had broken his wrist so could not bike, & Miquel arranged for taxis to take him to the wineries to meet up with us. The scenery was lovely and it was just an amazing tour! Definitely a must do if you want to enjoy the wine country in Austria!

I’d rent bikes from here again
I rented bikes from Vienna explorer and the bike shop staff were fantastic! Super helpful, managed to get us very comfortable bikes and when a bike didn’t work out, they swapped it no problem. Bikes in decent shape

Fantastic experience in Wachau! Best bike tour ever!
This was one of the most favorite travel things I’ve ever done! The wine in the area is fantastic and you are biking in such a beautiful area of country with the prettiest quaint villages. THe group size was perfect for the tour and our guide did an excellent job getting us together and allowing everyone to enjoy the biking. The quality of the bikes were surprisingly good. The were lightweight, responsive and fun to bike. I made some great friends on the bike ride as welll! The biking was never that difficult, mostly flat terrain. It took the whole day mostly but all i wanted to do was spend more time in the valley! There is some great history in the area as well that the guide was helpful to provide. Again, one of my favorite experiences and a beautiful convenient way to get our of Vienna and enjoy some beautiful countryside only a short distance away!

One of the best things you can do in Vienna
Tomas was an excellent guide, super friendly and knowledgeable. The Wachau Valley is beautiful and, more importantly, we loved all the wine that we tasted (and they are extremely generous with the pours, compared to the tastings I'm used to in Napa). The itinerary has a good amount of variety. It's nice to break up the wine tastings with the boat cruise, lunch in Durnstein, and a couple of photo opps with the abbey and some vineyards. This tour may be a bit pricey but it's worth every penny.

      Breathtaking views and delicious wine
My wife and I had an amazing time biking through the gorgeous Wachau valley region. Our group was small, only 7 people in total, and our guide, Tomas, was incredibly kind, funny, and informative as we made our journey. The tour included a visit to just two wineries, but honestly this felt like plenty considering the amount of wine offered at each one, and all of the other sites along the way. Tomas and the winemakers we encountered offered lots of context for the wines we were tasting, which really helped me better appreciate the subtleties in flavor and body imparted by the environment and processing. Definitely bring money for lunch; it was at a traditional Austrian place in a small town on the Danube, and the food was delicious and affordable. Don't worry too much about having enough stamina or bike riding skill, I hadn't ridden a bike in over 5 years and found it very easy going.

Perfect day on bikes in Waldau valley
Nice bikeride in beautiful area in the middle of the wine distrikt of Waldau. Tim is a very skilled guide and took good care of us. The wine tasting stops was perfect and also the lunchstop in Durnstein.

      Bike along the Danube
We are an older couple and did the ride with no difficulty using regular bikes as the terrain is pretty level and there are lots of breaks. According to my Apple Watch we rode 16.2 miles and spent 2 hours cycling. The tour was extremely well planned and we made all of our connections returning to Vienna around 7pm. Our guide Tim was knowledgeable about the history of winemaking in the valley, the history of the valley, and bike mechanics. The scenery was breathtaking. For me bike riding along the Danube was a dream come true.

      Vienna Wine Tour
Our guide, Tomas, was organized and very knowledgeable. The day was so much fun. Having a small group of 5 tourists made it even better. I wish I would have rented an E-bike since there were some hills half way through the ride.

Lovely 3h tour of Vienna with Robert so thank you very much! Great way to see the city, with regular stops at different points around the city including lovely large parks, university, modern and old architecture, some history and anecdotes providing a great insight into Vienna as a city of history, music, culture and modern day citizen.
Would recommend to anyone doing this tour to have a bum bag or deep pockets to put a phone or camera in, so you can take pictures at the stops without having to take on and off rucksacks. Also the tour was in English not in German as advertised on the vienna pass go city webpage.

The best tour so far this holiday. Our guide, Horst, was friendly, funny and full of stories about the city. We felt we had got a much better feel for the city than we had gained via any of the recorded tours and saw so much more too as we could cover lots of ground on the bikes.
The tour is suitable for infrequent cyclists (like me) and we were able to keep mostly to cycle paths which was reassuring. A really worthwhile experience.

The tour was excellent. Our guide was very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and communicated very well. The bikes were great quality and the staff worked to make sure each bike fit everyone well and they were comfortable. The tour was an excellent way to get a 3 hour introduction to Vienna and I highly recommend it.

Enjoyable, covered many of the main sites in 3 hours. Well designed route which avoided too much congestion. Pace was quite high but just about OK. What wasn't ok was the pace of the guide's speech. She said we were a quiet group but in fact most of us were struggling to catch what she said.

An easy way to see many sights in Vienna, certainly less work than walking, and far more pleasant than hopping on and off buses or trains. Our guide Horst was outstanding, he was engaging, very knowledgeable and lots of fun also! I just had dinner at a restaurant he recommended near where I’m staying, and it was delicious, very glad he was working the day I booked.

This was an incredibly awful experience. They do not give you an address on where to meet. Just “400 meters behind Rathaus” when we call to figure out where to go they “cancelled” us after 5 mins and said they had to leave. I’ve done bike tours all around the world and each and every time they give you an exact address. We once waited 15 mins to wait for a group that was running late. Not 5 mins. Incredibly disgusting and warning other travelers.

The tour was really interesting and we saw parts of Vienna that we would have otherwise missed. However the group of 13 people was too large for a single guide particularly as we had to navigate lots of traffic lights and crossings. Wouldn’t recommend for young children as one family were left behind on one occasion.

I did a bike tour of Vienna with Horst and had a ball. While we explored parts of Vienna, it was nice to get out of the city and see a little of what life was like in the suburbs. Horst was so knowledgeable and entreating. We stopped for a great coffee, I’m a coffee tragic, and a greater conversation.
    Can highly recommend.
