Sunday evening - music to enjoy even for the non music lover !!
Enjoyed our last evening at St Peter and listening to a quartet playing a number of great classic pieces. The concert was about an hour - just right for both the music lover and unsure teens. The church is beautiful and the acoustics stunning. Highly recommend as an easy way to capture the art and music in this beautiful city.

Vienna at its best
Aug 2020
Acoustics is brilliant, sound is amazing. I'm no expert but the musicians were sensitive with their instruments and it was very pleasant to the ear.
The composer's choice was excellent but the program included less familiar pieces ("less familiar" to a non-expert like me).
Over all great experience for me and my family (this was the first-time concert for my two kids).

Unique experience, but ...

Organisation: TOP!!! Saftey first!!!
Programme: Mixed Feelings. Started with Mozart KV 157. Why? Not? KV 525?
Vivaldi, "The Summer" - amazing performance. The echo in the church was helping with the sound and it was as if a small orchestra is sending a storm through the church.
Bruckner's "Locus Iste" for four string instruments was a meditative and beautiful arrangement of the original version for a choir.
The selection of three movements from Mozart's Requiem was for me not the best option. No complaints at all regarding the musicians, just the selection for these specific pieces in which the choir is such an integral part is for me questionable. Honestly, I missed the strength of the choir. If Mozart, why not KV 525 :-)
A wonderful present was Schubert's Andante movement from his string quartet D.810. Thank you for this gift.
Bach's "Air" BWV 1068 was again not the most ideal selection for me. I was wondering how a piece from Arvo Pärt's "Fratres" would sound in a church or if anybody ever made an arrangement for the piece "Mirror in a mirror" for the Cello and three other string instruments?
The evening finished with Antonin Dvorak's 4th movement from his amazing string quartet op.96. I liked the liveliness and positive attitude of this piece which guided us into the rest of our evening.

Special evening

What a great concert. Don't know classical music very well but this experience was enchanting and engaging. The young musicians were clearly enjoying them selves and the hour went very quickly. St Peters church is stunning and really felt like we were experiencing something very special.

Very pleasant
Absolutely beautiful venue at the church, 4 piece string quartet put on a good performance and it didn't over extended itself at being an hour long, it felt just right to me. The seat are the pews with a thing cushion. Entering and exiting was easy, would go again.

Best Venue, Great Concert
Jul 2019
Tickets for this concert can usually be purchased either via your hotel, online, or at the church itself. The church's interior is a sight to see. Probably the best to be seen in Vienna where in you don't normally have to contend with cattle car loads of tourists. The intimate atmosphere here makes the concert very pleasant and you're not packed in tight like at the other concert halls. It wasn't an overly touristy experience at all-i.e. they're not wearing classic clothing with wigs, but suits and gowns as the music is why you come to this concert. Best concert seen in Vienna, even after seeing the larger/more famous ones. Perfect venue to enjoy the music and appreciate the location.
