- hulseboschfam0 contributionsGreat way to get a view of ViennaWe really enjoyed Anita’s tour on our first day in Vienna. Knowledgeable and obviously fond of her city she showed us the highlights and put them in historical context. It was raining and cold but Anita stayed enthousiastic and we did not skip anything. The bikes worked well and Vienna’s inner city is flat so great for biking. A great way to get a view of the city. We had a wonderful morning, highly recommended!Written 1 December 2023
- 152idad0 contributionsGive way to see Vienna's sights!Anita, our English-speaking guide, was fantastic! 'Just the right combination of information and fun! She even timed it so that we were in front of the Spanish Riding School when the Lipizzaner horses crossed the Ringstrasse on their way back from their morning session! Also, the bicycles were of good quality.Written 10 October 2023
- kamilakE1786ZV0 contributionsDissapointedI booked the tickets online, paid for them, got the tickets but the next day got info that I couldn't take part in the tour cause it'd been sold out! IT was my last day in Vienna so i wasn't able to take part in the tour the next day they offered. Even if I could have, I wouldn't have done it with Vienna ToursWritten 13 August 2023
- joshuapeel0 contributionsPerfect tour if you’re in Vienna for a few daysDavid was the perfect tour guide, very passionate and knowledgable, he cares about making a difference to your stay in Vienna. The shop was easy to find then we set out with him giving us detailed explanations of the history of Vienna at each stop. The cycling wasn’t demanding so it was nice and enjoyable. We saw more than we ever could walking and learned x10 what we would have known without David. We’d highly recommend and was great value for money. He even took us to specific spots for good photos!Written 17 January 2022

The bike ride through the city center of Vienna was fantastic. We drove past the beautiful, stately houses and got off at all the landmarks we encountered. We were shown around in Dutch by guide Hein, a knowledgeable man who can tell very interesting stories about the beautiful city where he has lived for almost 20 years. An experience you will never forget, thank you very much Hein!

We have done many bike tours in many different cities across Europe. This tour was an excellent tour. The guide was very knowledgable, funny, and made the tour very engaging. We were able to enjoy the history of many of the major sites in Vienna, understand the layout of the city and decide what we wanted to come back to so that we could dive deeper into its history. I would recommend this company and recommend doing this tour early into your trip while in Vienna to get a good overview of the sights and layout of the city.

We participated in two different bike tours of MijnKrakauTours a week earlier. Very positive experiences. Our participation in Vienna was less anyway. We used our own bikes, but the quality of the bikes in Vienna was certainly less. It looked like they were used bicycles from The Hague. Our group consisted of 17 people and that was clearly too much. Our Guide had a lot of knowledge of history and art, but because of the size of the group, not everyone was able to hear everything. The information on the website clearly states that the maximum size will be 15 participants.

My husband and I had an amazing time doing the Vienna Bicycling Tour! It was a great way to get to see the city and Lisa was an awesome tour guide. She was very attentive to the needs of the group and is a wealth of knowledge. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is comfortable riding a bike and wants to learn more about the city. Lisa was great about answering questions and going the extra mile to make sure we got the most out of the tour!

It was fun and a great way to get to know the city. Our guide was knowledgeable and respectful of everyones riding abilities. But it was a little bit too long at 3 hrs 30, and, as it was advertised as a 3 hr tour, we couldn't make it on time to our next event. We were also led without any prior knowledge to a cafe for a mid-tour break where there were no other options nearby to purchase food/drink. We had already purchased our substandard coffees before we were told they only accept cash, which we did not have on us, and had to therefore rely on the kindness of another tour participant to cover our bill, which was embarrassing to us.

What a great way to see Vienna. We went on this delightful tour with a group of 6 in total in the cold of January. David was such an informative and attentive tour guide, with a passionate and extensive knowledge of Vienna’s history. He was so interesting to listen to but also kept us moving on the bikes to keep warm! We’d thoroughly recommend this tour.

Need to have the minimum age higher. We had a young kid and all he did was complain and cause us to be late. I can’t blame the tour guide because she was excellent. The parents let the kid get away with being rude to the tour guide and we all had to listen to him complain.

Thanks for the review!
I understand the problem! We're sorry it caused delays in the group.
Our experience is that even our young guests can keep up well with the group. This time it unfortunately turned out differently! We are very sorry!

interesting mix of history, architecture and did you know. Top guide.
Small correction: the Brussels Town Hall was completed in the 15th century and was subsequently restored several times (including after the bombardment of 1695), always with respect for the Gothic design. The architect of Vienna's city hall has nothing to do with this, but probably got the mustard for his design in Brussels.
