When visiting new places we find it so helpful to take a walking tour to get our bearings and understand some of the highlights of each location. We met Claudia at a central spot and in the few hours we were together she not only captivated our attention and made us laugh - but we learned SO much about Viennese history, we saw off the beaten path hidden gems, and she even pointed out the best cafes, cake shops, museums, and places to shop for treasures. Each of her tips was helpful - and the stories resonated throughout our visit in Vienna. Not only that - she is FUNNY - and we are still chuckling about some of her jokes. Claudia is incredibly smart, interesting, engaging, captivating, and knowledgeable. If you take a tour with her you will not be disappointed!Written 26 December 2023

Hernando, our guide was absolutely wonderful. He was prompt in meeting us at our hotel and was polite, fun with an adventurous spirit. Five of us (all adults) took the tour on July 26. Our guide, Lisa, is a Vienna native, but due to her time in Miami, speaks English with no discernable accent. She was very engaging and high-energy as she escorted us down the streets (and some alleyways) of old Vienna. You'll learn about the Blood Countess, the Basilisk and other dark or spooky elements of Vienna's history that the other tours leave out.
It was easy to find the meeting place (and locate Lisa), and, as at least one other review sort of indicated, it felt like we kind of had the city to ourselves that evening. While I didn't think there were too many genuine "chills," the mood was still great and we enjoyed ourselves immensely!

Lisa was an amazing tour guide during our Ghost Tour of Vienna. She told spooky & historical tales as she guided us through the streets of Vienna. Lisa is highly recommend by our family if you plan to visit Vienna in the future.

Lisa and her little sidekick (also Lisa) took us on a 90 minute adventure through the streets and alleys of central Vienna. Interesting and captivating stories at every stop. Pace was perfect and cobbled streets were level and easy to navigate. Lisa is energetic and a natural storyteller. Although an Austrian, she spent enough USA time to speak unaccented American English. Spent one-on-one time, speaking with many of the tour guests between stories. A fountain of information. Deserves every star in the rating. Our group of 4 was 22 y/o to 75 y/o and we were richly rewarded with a fun evening.

Amazing experience, Lisa is a friendly and informative guide which makes for an educating tour and a peek into Austria's history that you probably wouldn't get from other tours. Additionally, the tour is themed more toward the darker elements of Vienna's past making it a unique experience. I would highly recommend this tour, especially if you like ghost stories and historical events.

I loved walking down Vienna’s old cobble stone streets, and listening to Lisa’s scary stories often with unexpected endings. Spooky details based on historical cases. “If death were a person he/she would be Viennese”.

Lisa was a fabulous guide and showed our family a completely different side of Vienna, beyond the pastries and music (which are also wonderful). As with any old cities, there are dark stories and shadowy corners. We spent an exciting several hours exploring this history, which contrasted heavily with the holiday decorations. Lisa brought these stories alive. Highly recommended!!

Our guide, Lisa, was super energetic and very eager to show us all the spots where some very disturbing and spooky things went on in Vienna. The tour was informative but not overwhealming with too many details either. Even though I live in Vienna and knew some of the stories I still learned a lot of new things and really enjoyed the tour. It was my pleasure to be one of the first people to give this tour a go, I would definitely recommend this tour to others..especially in October and in the evening ;).

Lisa was a great guide. Full of information not only about the ghost stories, but also very helpful just with information about Vienna, places to try, etc.
Really interesting tales. We’ve done a few of these now in different cities. Fun tours when done well because it really gives you some details most people miss in a visit.

Wow-we booked this last minute for my partner and my mom as something to do in Vienna when other plans fell through-THANK YOU LISA!! We had the absolute best time with you, walking Vienna and learning creepy history! Don’t make a deal with the Devil…but please make a deal with Lisa! Highly recommend!
