Alex was a wonderful guide and we learned sooo much about the Sisi and Hofburg Museum. It was great to get the inside story from someone knowledgeable and interesting and the behind-the-scenes stories were fascinating. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in history, scandal and anything beautiful.

Great overview of the Maria Therese side of the palace (there’s another tour of the other half) which includes the history of Marie Antoinette and Napoleon. Our guide was knowledgeable and personable.

Our guide was knowledgeable, funny, and accommodating. We really enjoyed this tour. The palace was better than the museum, only because the museum is close and hot. But the tour guide and the tour itself was excellent. Do keep up, though. We accidentally got left behind while my daughter was taking a photo. Our guide kindly called us because we were lost. 😬

It was a very pleasant trip, lots of interesting history, stunning architecture, really impressive, a guide is useful to get to know this place better. Although it is not the season for blooming flowers, but I imagine that the gardens must be beautiful in the green season, maybe I will be able to come back then.

It was such a memorable experience. And the Hotel transfer facility made it even more convenient for my family. But the best part was our guide Ana. She was not just friendly but familiar with every aspect of the Schönbrunn Palace. and Garden

Beware of booking anything via Rosotravel and Get Your Guide. We booked tours on booking.com and were better off or booked directly with the venue. We had a terrible experience having booked a tour to the Schonbrunn Palace and Gardens via Get Your Guide and Rosotravel. We were there early and couldn't find our tour guide even using our navigator. Its a huge space and for 45 we tried to contact someone from Get Your Guide and Rosotravel to help us find our tour guide. They don't provde the tour guides phone number. After messaging for over 45 minutes, Get your Guide finally tried to reach our tour guide and admitted he wasn't answer the phone. Had they called him earlier maybe we would have found them? They never refunded our money and we were also available to rebook but they denied the request. Kept telling us we cancelled even though we were there on the property and even sent pictures of where we were. They didn't care and just took our money! Do yourself a favor and book yourself and get an audio guide in your language. If you want more history, and use a guide I recommend booking.com or another vendor. By the Way, Get Your Guide also charged us the first day of booking in September even through the tour wasn't planned until mid October. They aren't supposed to do that. We are fighting this with our credit card since they are inflexible helping us.

We were so very upset! We just arrived in Vienna and were all set for our first exciting sightseeing trip. We arrived at the Schonbrunn Palace 30 minutes before we were to meet our guide and could not for the life of us find the meeting place. I texted with Get Your Guide in a panic as the palace and gardens are huge and we tried to use my navigator to find the meeting point they sent us. We even tried calling Get Your Guide and no one answered the phone. We started messaging Get Your Guide customer service and even sent her pictures of where we were at the Palace and the map that didn't show the name of the cafe we were supposed to meet. We kept sending her pictures and asking for her to contact the guide that we needed help finding him so she can tell him where we were. She admitted she couldn't contact our tour guide who wasn't answering the phone. We wanted to ask where they were to meet up with the tour. It took us 45 minutes and kept losing internet access with Get your Guide and She was so not helpful. We asked for a refund or rebooking of the tour and she would not help us. She kept repeating that we were being charged as a cancellation. We are also an older couple and it was very cold that day walking the outside property trying to find the English speaking tour guide. They charged us about $118 for the two of us and I will be disputing the charge. We started booking through other vendors like booking.com, Viator and even went ourselves to museums and bought the English audio guide. Don't waste your time and money they are rude and won't do anything to help you. I'm sure we aren't the only ones who have discovered how terrible Rosotravel and Get your Guide is. Never Again!

Very nice tour. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The palace is stunning as well as the enormous gardens. We added on a Stroudel making class at the palace which was fun and the stroudel was out of this world. I would recommend.

Tour covered the old and new castles and a brief history of the recent Hapsburgs before touring the private apartments of Franz Joseph and Sisi. Then the Spanish Horses, Burggarten and Mozart statue. Guide was knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining.

Alex was a wonderful guide and we enjoyed the tour so much! He added so many antidotes which added to the tour while still giving us lots to historical insight.

Our guide was engaging and extremely knowledgeable. Just the right amount of time spent in the palace before seeing the gardens. We stayed afterwards and had lunch at the Croisette Cafe in the garden. Lovely day and excellent value.

Our tour of the Upper Belvedere and Gardens were spectacular! Our tour guide Karen went above and behind with her knowledge and detail of each peace of artwork we saw and how see maneuvered us through the crowd!
