Out guide Ernest was great, even though it was a very cold rainy evening. He was very informative . His knowledge of the architecture and history was very educational. Great personality!

Sadly I am unable to give a good review of our “Customised Private Tour” organised by Lokafy. According to their description: “We want to learn as much as we can about you and your travel companions to organize the perfect tour. With our walking tours, you’ll skip the mundane historical tours and discover the city through a local’s eyes.” Our guide had clearly not taken onboard our specific interests and requests (20th century history and places “off the beaten track” amongst other things). She simply led us from one main tourist attraction to the next and told us nothing we did not already know from basic background reading. We learned nothing about what it is actually like to live as a local in Vienna. We ended up getting the very thing this company claim to avoid - a mundane historical tour, and by someone with limited knowledge. My complaint is not with our guide, but rather with Lokafy for failing to provide what we signed up for. Our guide was polite and well intentioned but clearly not capable of fulfilling the brief.

We met Marietta at the Chattanooga restaurant. She greeted me like a long lost brother! Marietta led the 3 of us all over the central parts of the city for 2 & 1/2 hours. She encouraged us to ask questions, & shared many insights & experiences from her years growing up in Vienna. The fact that she had lived in the U.S. for 10 years gave her a broader perspective of Austria & its history. Marietta took us into Demel, a restaurant famous for Kaiser Schmarrn, an amazing dessert described as “scrambled pancakes”, served with plum compote: we watched it being cooked, & made a note to return later to enjoy, which we did more than once! Marietta is a lovely, bubbly lady. She took photos of us at various places, & shared them via WhatsApp, so we didn’t have to take selfies. She also sent us a generous list of suggestions for coffee houses , cafes,, & restaurants that were highly recommended, or near our Airbnb. Danke schon, Marietta 😊🤗😊

Every view is a photo in the photogenic city of Vienna. The architecture is stunning, the history so rich, plentiful & interesting, the streets are so clean, it feels so safe. Our guide, Ernst, was extremely knowledgeable, interesting, entertaining and professional!

Explored areas I never would have discovered on my own. Marietta was wonderful and a pleasure to explore with.

On a day impacted by snowy/ rainy weather, we had the pleasure of working with Ernst who is exceptionally knowledgeable, thorough and well read … highly recommended for those that are looking for a unique and special tour of District 1 in Vienna

These people are scammers this has been the worse customer service that we have ever received and will not recommend please do not use them they want show up for the tour and want refund the money since it was their fault. Guide didn’t show up and now this is our fault. Please do yourself a favor and don’t buy from them which is advertising for Trip Advisor shame on you . Kathie Bradshaw

This was a fantastic way to see Vienna - I loved it! My guide, Felix, was so fun and knowledgeable. He picked me up at my hotel and we spent about three hours walking all over. He taught me history, made restaurant recommendations, and told great stories. I would recommend this tour a thousand times over - it was a definite highlight.

I would like to thank Aida for this amazing tour. It was very interesting and i enjoyed it very much. If I will have the chance i would gladly repeat it again!

Our tour guide Aida was awesome. She has great knowledge of the city. She hit all the highlights and let us know the best places to eat and visit. We enjoyed the tour very much.
