Overview
See the highlights of Oslo in one afternoon on a leisurely paced, 3-hour bike tour. Suitable for all fitness levels, your tour takes in top Oslo sights, like Frognerparken (Vigeland Park), Aker Brygge shipyard, the Royal Palace and Akerhus Castle. Following an expert guide, you’ll discover all the insider information about this gorgeous Scandinavian city while exploring its best sites.

This small-group Oslo bike tour is limited to 15 people, ensuring you'll receive personal attention from your expert guide.
Highlights
  • Small group means personalized attention from your guide
  • Take cycle paths that are inaccessible by tour coaches
  • Opt for an active sightseeing experience
  • Cover more ground in less time on a bike
What to Expect
Meet your guide and travel companions in central Oslo and, after a short safety briefing, pick out your bicycle and climb aboard. Pedal down Karl Johans gate, Oslo's main city street, past the yellow-brick parliament building (Storting) and 19th-century National Theatre before weaving your way down old cobblestoned streets toward the old shipyards of Aker Bygge to admire the harbor views.

Continuing onward, you'll cruise past neoclassical buildings with vibrantly decorated facades before coming across the Renaissance fortress of Akershus Castle. Enjoy a refreshing drink here (at own expense) before carrying on toward the Royal Palace, the official residence of Norway's king. Next, take a look at the intricate murals inside Oslo City Hall, as well as the room in which the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded each year.

After pedaling to Frognerparken, you have some free time to take in the sights and leisurely vibe of Oslo's biggest public park, loved by locals, and to check out the numerous open-air sculptures by Norwegian sculptor Gustav Vigeland.

Refreshed, you'll then pedal back to your original departure point in central Oslo where your tour ends.

My husband and I did the Oslo city tour and really enjoyed it. We saw a lot of the city from unusual vantage points. Our guide, Susana, was professional, knowledgeable and fun. Riding through the throngs of pedestrians, bicycles and scooters was sometimes a little...More

Our family loved seeing all the sites of Oslo via bicycle. Our guide did a great job explaining the historical significance of each place we stopped.

There was some traffic, but not a lot, especially compared to other places I've biked. That said, if you're adverse to biking on streets in general, this may not be the tour for you. Our guide, however, was quite careful... More
