    What to Expect
Visit: Viking Ship Museum, Huk Avenue 35, Oslo 0287 Norway

Do not miss the chance to stand in front of the three best-preserved Viking Ships in the world! These ships were used to sail the Norwegian fjords and afterwards they were used as burial ships. Admire the details of ships and the objects found in the ships along with the skeletons of those buried with the ships. Take a look at the four mystic dragon heads!

See the new film that is shown regularly on the walls and roof of one of the museum wings. This experience-film follows the entire trip of one Viking Ship. Find the perfect spot so you do not miss any of the details of the film.

The museum has free brochures in several languages, and an audio guide for smartphones and tablets which can be downloaded free of charge. There are activities for children and adults from time to time, check the upcoming events in the museum's page.

This is a must stop if you have time in Oslo. There are several Viking ships that are almost complete. In addition to the ships there are a number of other artifacts from the period.
