Our guide Rebecca was passionate about this trip as she had first hiked this trip when she was 4 and had guided a group the day before. She helped all members of the group enjoy the day making sure everyone had a safe hike even the slow ones. She stopped to pick up rubbish dropped by other tourists. The only disquiet was a late pick up due to flat battery. She texted after pick up time.

She was helpful with local information such as restaurants and other places to see. She also helped an elderly person not in the group struggling with the hike. Took great photos of us.

Day was paced well especially as hike was demanding but well and truly worth the effort. Rebecca really made sure we enjoyed our trip.

I booked a guided hike to pulpit Rock. Helga guided the group and was very considerate, knowledgeable and attentive. She is a superwoman, and makes hiking look very easy :D On the way down she took us via an alternative route - which was much more interesting and let us avoid the crowds of tourists.

Gier, our guide, was really familiar with the trail, patient, and friendly. He set a good pace for everyone's ability.

Considering the weather, we were so happy to have had a guide for this hike. Honestly, the road conditions alone would have scared me off had we been driving. But he picked us up on time, impressed everyone with his winter driving skills, then patiently led us all up the hike for a very memorable experience. We were lucky enough to have Pulpit Rock to ourselves—with the wind and snow maybe, but it was still nice.

We were picked up at the Hotel at 07.00. Driven to the preikestolen parking, (where the hike starts) by our guide. Now there is a tunnel under the sea, so we did not need to take a Ferry. The bus tour took only 45 min. (Before the tunnel existed almost 2 hours) The guide was very experienced, calm and he let us walk in our own pace. On the way down he took us in a different path to avoid all the tourist coming up. We highly recommend to use a guide if it is the first time to climb a mountain. We were so lucky that we had sunny weather.

The hike itself was amazing and our guide Helga was professional and pleasant. We were lucky,to have a clear day we climbed . It started raining when we were on our way down and the rocks became very slippery. I would be very cautious about doing it on a very wet day. Unfortunately Lysefjordan Adventures is a very difficult company to get hold of. On their website is says they are, open 24 hours but there is only an answering machine. I needed to advise them where to,pick us up and became very frustrated trying to get hold of them.

Despite attending the trip alone I came down feeling as if I'd been hiking with friends. Their was myself and four others in our group and our guide was very accommodating to those struggling, with rest stops quite frequent and no urge to move on until everyone was ready. I've forgotten the guides name but would like to thank her for an amazing experience!

this hike was incredible and Hege was super, thank you for a fantastic hike I loved it! Really smooth to be picked up from Stavanger and driven to the hike. What a brilliant day. Definitely do this tour! We started at 7am so there were very few people at the viewpoint, we were so lucky to get the sun in September! I really wanted to do this hike when visiting Norway but was nervous about hiking alone, we had a small group of 3, a great way to feel safe and meet other travellers up the hike ☺️ Thank you Hege

Haga, our tour guide, was patient and kind. She was also very friendly and professional. She alerted us when it was slippery, and which water stream to fill our bottles from. She lent me her hand knitted sweater once we got to the top to keep me warm. She even shared her hot coffee which was a perfect way to celebrate reaching the rock! Views were surreal. I highly recommend this hike and this tour guide service.

We hiked under the snow, in a small group, early enough so that little people did we meet. Our guide, Hege, was caring and considerate, very experienced and, always vigilant to ensure a great experience.
She has no equal when it comes to fitting snow chains on the bus :-)
The ride is exceptional, the nature breathtaking and the organization perfect.
You can book with your eyes closed, in full confidence.

It was a wonderful experience to hike Preikstolen!!
Our guide Andrea was an extremely friendly and great perspn. Not only did she guide us thoroughly but also shared her knowledge about the local fauna and greens on the mountain. When we started it was misty and even at the top, we could not get a view of the Fjord. Andrea was kind enough to wait for almost an hour for the fog to clear so we could enjoy the breathtaking view! The group was also lovely and kudos to eveyone to make for us such a beautiful memory.
