Overview
Settle in for a round-trip cruise from Poole to Swanage, and see the renowned Jurassic Coast from the water. As you listen to the captain’s commentary, gaze out at the sights of Poole Harbour, Sandbanks, and Brownsea Island. Travel along the UNESCO-listed Jurassic Coast, learn about its geology, and look out for key landmarks such as Old Harry Rocks and Studland Bay.
What to Expect
Head to Poole Quay at 10:30am, 1pm, or 3:45pm, and then step aboard your boat for your cruise.
Make yourself comfortable, and listen to your captain’s commentary as you cruise through Poole Harbour, admiring views of Brownsea Island with its 16th-century castle. Look out over the manmade Blue Lagoon, and gaze at the plush houses of Sandbanks — a sought-after neighborhood that lines the coast.
Now out on the open sea, you’ll cruise onward along the Jurassic Coast, England’s first natural UNESCO World Heritage Site. Renowned for its prehistoric remains, the coastal area boasts fascinating geological sites such as Old Harry Rocks, Swanage Bay, and Studland Bay.
After a quick stop at the Victorian pier of Swanage Bay, you’ll cruise back to the start point in Pool where your experience ends.

Refreshing trip

Lovely trip gorgeous weather. Don’t know about drinks etc as I wasn’t able to get down to the bar. We could have got off at Swanage but didn’t take that option this time.

Amazing Coast Line and Sights

We were very lucky to have good weather and a very calm day. The views of the coastline kept changing leaving Poole Harbour. After Studland the Jurassic Coast produced great photo's with the cliffs and caves before arriving in Swanage

Really great

Fabulous tour. Great commentary. Good value for money. Even had the harbour pilot boat alongside today. Drinks and snacks available. Take a coat even if it’s roasting on shore. It can get breezy and a little chilly.

I am reading on the internet that there is MH parking in Poole Quay with designated large spaces. I would suggest calling tourist information for advice.
