Perched high upon the mound is the ruins of Dunoon Castle, dating back to the 12th Century. We will have great views of it from the water, then feel free when you step ashore to take a walk up to the summit and look down at the Clyde.

      Amazing!
Where do I start?! What an incredible operation. From start to finish, safety took top priority. Jason is an outstanding skipper, knowing the tides, sites, and conditions and knowing exactly where to drop us. Our club had a few equipment issues and he was straight on to help. A very professional operation and we had so much fun! The hot chocolates and mince pies were a bonus too! Highly recommend and will be back!

      Exceptional Diving with Wreckspeditions
We had an incredible day with Jason from Wreckspeditions! Eight of us dove the Akka and Peacock wrecks, and Jason made the experience seamless from start to finish. His expertise as a skipper and diving instructor shone through, from assisting with kit and equipment to perfectly placing the shot lines. Surface pickups were smooth and topped off with the highlight of the day—Jason’s hot chocolate, which honestly gives Starbucks and Costa a run for their money! We also enjoyed chatting with him about his inspiring work with Ghost Fishing UK. A fantastic day out that we’d highly recommend to any diver. Thanks, Jason!

Fantastic skipper , very knowledgable and safety is top priority , dropped us perfectly to meet the shot line down to the wrecks we dived , Jason’s help getting kitted up is 2nd to none 👌🏻 post dive hot drinks & festive mince pies were just what we needed once safely back aboard the starfish enterprise , can’t wait to get back for another great day ! Thanks again for making our trip even better than we expected

      Great as always
Jason and Claire provide a great service for visiting divers. Their knowledge and enthusiasm make any trip fun, safe, and memorable. This time we took part in a war wrecks weekend, taking in submerged sites from the American Civil War to WW2. This included diving down to bouncing bombs that were dropped in Loch Striven during training exercises. Amazing history and amazing service from Wreckspeditions. We will be back!

      War wreck weekend
We did 3 days of scuba diving and well organised war themed weekend with Jason and Claire. We were well looked after and truly enjoyed our time. Everything ran smoothly. Can highly recommend wreckspedition and we'll be back!

      Another great 3 days diving
Another great 3 days of diving. Jason has an ability to find sheltered sites even when there is a force 4 from the south. Dived around the Cumbrae Islands on wrecks and beautiful reefs, so well looked after.

      Dive charter
Many thanks to Jason who, as always, made our dive charter a very relaxing and enjoyable weekend. He really goes the extra mile to make everything run safely and smoothly, nothing is too much trouble. Also, the best hot chocolate on the Clyde!

      Fabulous boat trip
What a fabulous trip! Jason ensured we all had a great time. He was very knowledgeable about the area, the wildlife and the history. Seeing a wreck up close was really interesting. Highly recommend, we’ll be back very soon.

Exhilarating and professional . Don’t miss out !
We would highly recommend a trip out with Jason . Extremely professional, warm and friendly, we went for a Holy Loch blast and my two sons were delighted with a look at the wreck and Jason was brilliant answering my eldest sons questions about the boat, the sonar and the Loch . The communication for the booking beforehand was excellent and because of the awful weather coming in we had to re jiggle to a half hour trip but it was still amazing Jason was very accommodating and made sure we didn’t miss out , so next time we hope to do the longer “ Doon the Watter” trip . Thanks again !

Highlight of our time in Scotland
We were originally booked for the shipwrecked tour but due to bad weather we had to change it to a 30 minute tour around the loch but excellent communication throughout. Jason was amazing with the kids, answered all their questions, very knowledgeable, lots of fun even in the rain. We did manage to see one shipwreck, zoomed around the loch but the highlight of the trip was spotting 4 Porpoises swimming near by. Would definitely recommend.

      Boat trip
OK to start with we were booked on a ship wreck tour but unfortunately due to bad weather it wasn't possible, Jason then offered us a 1/2 hour trip round the lock because it was a little bit calmer,of course at first we a little bit disappointed, but this wasn't to be Jason was so friendly and knowledgeable such a pleasure meeting him .the trip he provided was such fun ,I would highly recommend anyone visiting the area to book with them, cheers Jason good job

      Fun local diving
We did two dives in the Holy Loch - the Seagull and the salvage wreck. Jason is a great skipper with fantastic knowledge of local dive sites, both wreck and scenic. The post-dive hot chocolates were an added bonus. We hope to do some more diving with Wreckspeditions next time we are in the area. Thanks Jason, we had a great day and really appreciate you taking us out! Libby & Dan

100 out of 10, would recommend!!
Jason was absolutely AMAZING on our recent trip to the lochs!!! He quite literally saved our club trip after we experienced problems with filling cylinders! He went out of his way to accommodate our needs, gave us invaluable advice about dive sites and accompanied a couple of us on one of our pleasure dives. If I could give him a 10 star rating, I would!! And he would get an extra 3 for the amazing hot choccie and flapjack ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

      Wreckspeditions went above and beyond
Jason has been such a star during our stay over the past week, and during the planning over the last few weeks. He's gone above and beyond at every stage to help us out with fills, advice, and even joined us for a dive on his day off to share his local knowledge. His excellent reputation proceeds him and is absolutely well deserved. What a legend! A huge thank you from the damp campers from Leeds!!

This was an absolute highlight of our trip. Jason’s knowledge was exceptional, interesting and highly engaging to the whole group including teens and young kids. The views were incredible and we were spoiled with porpoises, seals and amazing weather. The kids loved the shipwreck too. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back for a longer trip next time! Thank you.

Fantastic trip. My two children loved it, even one who was a little bit scared. Got to see seals and great views. Remember to bring a hair band if you have long hair, as this exhilirating trip will have your hair whipping all over the place.

My family and I had an absolutely amazing trip. Jason was a fantastic skipper, he made the trip that more enjoyable. We could see he was passionate about his job. We managed to see dolphins and seals, as well as a ship wreck. If we had more time, we definitely would have gone for the half day tour. Jason had everything well thought out to make it an enjoyable and melorable trip. I would 100% recommend Wreckspedition, worth every penny and more and if we do come back to Dunoon, we will definitely rebook. Thank you once again Jason! My surly teens said it was the highlight of their trip to beautiful Scotland and you already know, seeing the dolphins was a dream come true for me!

Wow now that's what I call a review 😃 thank you soon much Sana! Really glad you all enjoyed our slightly extended by accident trip lol. It was really nice to meet you all and watch the teens become more engrossed in everything we did and saw.it was a cracking hour out and I am over the moon that you got to see the porpoise before we got back to base. I am taken aback by the fact that our trip was the highlight of your Scottish holiday, that really means the world to us. 😍🐬👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 You are more than welcome back any time should you come and visit Dunoon again. Great communication with Jason before our trip - he phoned the day before with advice on what to wear according to the weather forecast. He made sure we knew where to find him and when to arrive. My party consisted of 4 adults and a child and we were all made to feel very welcome on arrival. Jason completed the safety advice in an informative manner and kitted us all out before boarding the Starfish Enterprise. We were asked what we were interested in seeing while we were out on the water, making it very much “our” tour. We were fortunate in our timing as there was a super yacht on the Clyde which we got to see up close which was amazing. We then headed to the Cloch lighthouse and were lucky to witness porpoise surfacing. Next stop was the Gantox rocks and seal spotting - lovely to see the seal pups. We then sped back to the Holy Loch and had a good look at the ship wreck there before returning to the marina. Jason was very knowledgeable about the local history and area. I would highly recommend a trip with Wreckspeditions!

Our family group - aged from 7 up to 81 - were unanimous that this was the highlight of our stay in Argyll. Jason had superb knowledge of the area and was wonderfully personable. We all loved the super-fast ride and bumping over the wake from the ferries. We were really lucky to see porpoises and get right up close to the shipwreck in Holy Loch. The trip was superb value for money and I couldn't recommend it more highly.

I am glad we could wiggle things around with the rather blowy conditions. If we can reschedule things we will as we want people to enjoyed themselves rather than getting soaked through. Really glad that when we went out, we got to see some.of the wildlife around too. Thank you again for your lovely review and hopefully see you all again
