About
Take an exciting sightseeing and scenic nature trip with us departing from South Pier, Lowestoft, and heading north taking in the most Easterly point of the UK and Gulliver. See the erosion at Corton before passing the beaches of Gorleston and Great Yarmouth, then past Scroby Sands and the wind farm to Horsey Beach at speed to have some quality time with seals. We slow right down when we get anywhere near the seals to avoid disturbing them and usually stop to let you have a good look and get some amazing pictures and make memories. There are almost always many seals at Horsey. At some times of the year there could be literally thousands on the beach.

      Exhilarating experience!
The sea was quite rough so we didn't get as far as seeing the seals! So we were treated to going along the coast. It was a really good experience of big waves and lots of sea spray! We were well cared for and felt safe. We were offered a part refund or another trip as we didn't see the seals.

      Exhilarating boat trip to Scroby
Wow!! What a fantastic trip. We arrived to a very friendly welcome, were kitted out in waterproofs and safety gear then off we went. An exhilarating ride along the coast towards the wind farm and Scroby. Can’t believe the number of seals, many swam around the boat whilst others relaxed on the sand banks. John and Mark were very informative about the seals/wildlife/surrounding area. Definitely recommend this trip!!

      Seal trip
A thrilling boat trip with entertaining hosts (John and Fliss), out to Scroby Sands to see the seals in their natural habitat. I loved that they were not afraid of us and were perhaps more inquisitive of us, swimming right up to the boat, which had been anchored with the engine turned off. Lacking boat knowledge but enjoyed the nostalgia of seeing a coal fuelled boat sailing close to Lowestoft - the Lydia Eva. We circled her and waved to the crew, an enjoyable ‘extra’.

      Wonderful Trip
Wonderful trip to see the seals with bonus visit to see the steam-powered drifter Lydia Eva whilst she was sailing out at sea.

      Top Trip
Top Trip. Completely wonderful. Perfect hosts (Fliss and John). Boat ride fun and not scary. Definitly needed the warm layers and provided waterproofs for the late Septmber trip. Bonus view of the 1930s Lydia May - a steam driven sidewinder trawler. Lots of seals. Camera with long range lens recommended for good pics. Plenty of curious seals came over to see us too. So peaceful while bobbling around in the ocean when the engine was off.

      Fantastic trip with Jet Adventures
Fantastic trip with Jet Adventures to Scroby Sands. The sea conditions were calm and we had great views of the coastline. So many inquisitive seals came to see us while we were moored close to Scroby Sands. On our way back we were lucky enough to see around 8 local lifeboats out on the sea, not on a rescue mission but a special event involving the handing over of a new life boat, that was very impressive. The crew were brilliant, they were so knowledgable and made our trip great fun.

      An absolute must do!!
One of the best days out you could have in East Anglia! Exhilarating and fun, we enjoyed every moment. Seeing the seals was just an additional bonus to the epic jet boat journey. Wearing the orange waterproofs only added to the experience. Loved it!!

The number one attraction in Lowestoft
We've been meaning to do this for a while, and have finally got round to booking it. The tour didn't disappoint. Fantastic, knowledgable and friendly staff, together, of course, with the seals make this tour a must for locals and visitors alike. Thank you for a wonderful outing!

Enjoyable trip to a seal colony
A really nice trip. Friendly and knowledgeable operators, interesting boat trip and we saw tonnes of seals (literally). My youngest son (aged 10) really enjoyed himself as did I. Short enough to fit into a busy day but substantial enough to feel like you've had an experience. Recommended.

Such a wonderful experience. Having two people who want to pass on their knowledge, make the trip fun and look after you makes such a difference. We loved every minute, even the impromptu stop for ice creams and fuel for the boat. Brilliant value for money. My 9 year old even got to be skipper for a couple of minutes! You won't be disappointed.

Great experience and very informative. A chance to view the coast from a new perspective and see the seals. The trip included a stop to see the seal colony and provided plenty of photo opportunities. The ride on the jet boat was exhilarating. Highly recommend a trip on the jet boat.

I have an irrational fear of water but was bought this as a surprise so had to go ahead. The guys working here are absolutely wonderful….in the midst of my meltdown whilst carrying my daughter they couldn’t have been more accommodating. One guy sat with us the entire journey to reassure me and keep the water off my daughters face……a true gent. The water was extremely turbulent and we got very wet so great for anyone who likes a bumpy ride, my 8 year old thought it was brilliant. We saw hundreds of seals both bobbing up in the water to say hello and then on the sandbanks.

Fantastic experience to see the seals on the beach fighting, loving and generally lazing about. The area is well maintained, with people kept far enough away. Plenty of parking....a real treat in Norfolk.

This was one of the highlights of my year and well worth the visit. Although we took a wrong turning and ended up on the longer route to the beach (as we'd parked at the Lord Nelson) this allowed us to have a great conversation with a couple of the amazing volunteers on the way.

They informed us that some of the dunes were cordoned off due to the baby seas climbing over. I couldn't believe that they could do that until we walked along and saw a couple on the path.

When we got up to the viewing path it was really clear where you could and couldn't walk and for good reason. This is their habitat and faced with a huge bull that moved extremely quickly as well as a couple of snappy cubs passed separately, it's definitely worth listening to the volunteers who know what they're talking about.

On that point, they're so knowledgeable and can tell you about the history and what's happening with the community at the time. There were plenty of seals to see in the bay. It really was a wonderful experience.

Not to be missed. The seals are just laying on the sands and swimming close to shore. Definitely worth doing the walk from Horsey mill
