We went on this trip 20/11/24 and had a great and informative walk. The trip also included a beautiful dinner / desert in great surroundings. Mark who led the walk was full of information about various "ghostly" hauntings. Great evening..

Possibly the best boat trip in the uk that I’ve been on, the captain is full of information so much information that you don’t realise how much of history is in this area, dogs allowed which is a bonus

The place is brilliant, it has tunnels beaches built by the victoriana for privacy. It has a ladies beach and a gentlemen beach. The gentlemen beach is often used for weddings. There is a 20 minute bus ride to Woolacombe beach which is amazing. It is 3 miles long and is the 13th best beach in the world with world heritage status. You've got to try Nikkis freakshakes in Ilfracome they're to die for. The pasties are heavenly.

Skipper gave an excellent commentary of local history, geology and recommendations. The views of the coast were beautiful and the boat was manoeuvred close to the cliffs and coves. Plenty of seating and ample opportunities for photos.

This was a great 2 hours spent learning about the history of the town and some of its darker secrets. Mark was great and we need to try and catch one of his ghost tours next. Definitely recommend.

Mark is great, he made the tour interesting, informative and friendly. We walked at a nice pace and enjoyed the informal narrative of history and snippets and ghostly ghouls.

Lovely harbour area, I can imagine it’s busy in spring, summer months A lot things closed as winter, but still lovely to walk around with dog

We met outside the theatre and we set off early, as it was just myself and my husband. Mark checked what we wanted to know about, was it both the history and the ghosts, which was great as he tailor made his tour to suit our interests. Lots of interesting facts on Ilfracombe plus some fun ghost stories. Tour ended by the harbour with recommendations for pubs and restaurants. I would recommend this tour.

3 friends and I met with the tour guide and a young couple outside the Landmark Theatre. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable and gave lots of local history and tales of ghosts and paranormal activity. The relatively easy walk was taken at a gentle pace stopping at various points of interest, with some quirky local stories and ending at the harbour with spectacular views of Verity. The tour was enjoyable and also allowed us to get acclimatised to the immediate area.

Went on the tour last week and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish! Mark was great and very welcoming to the group, he had loads of knowledge of the history ilfracombe and some great ghost 👻 stories to tell us too. We had a nice walk around the town which brought the stories to life before you eyes as you stood outside the buildings as you were told the tales. It was a great evenings entertainment I would highly recommend it and would definitely join them again on another tour! 10/10 can’t fault it.

I booked for the family to enjoy learning about Ilfracombe's history. We had a brilliant walk/tour with Mark who was very informative. Marks delivery was spot on; very approachable and happy to answer questions as we went. We all said how much we had learnt and has prommpted some of us to research more. The guide Mark gave a great tour, some very interesting info about the history of Ilfracombe and a beautiful route to walk along. Did the tour in winter and still enjoyed.

We joined a Halloween Ghost Walk. I messaged for information ahead of booking the walk as a couple of our group can't walk very far. I had a very quick response giving really helpful details. During the walk the leaders were very attentive to the people in our group, making sure they were coping with the walk, advising where they could sit down if necessary. The tour was interesting. The main guide showed photos and pictures to support the tales. They had obviously done their research. All of our party, aged between 12 and 83, really enjoyed the evening.

Really enjoyed this tour whilst visiting on holiday. It was interesting (and entertaining) to learn some history of the area rather than just passing through. Mark was friendly, very knowledgeable and provided some good ghost stories! Such a lovely place to visit too. Would highly recommend.
