Engaging and fun in a beautiful land!
We had great communication and phenomenal time under the leadership of Owen! Fun and engaging, he had our whole group interacting and was a joy to have as our guide. His optimism and genuine love of the area shone through at every point.

Beautiful views, lovely tour guide James and perfect weather
James was our tour guide and he was absolutely amazing! He had plenty of facts and information on the history of each stop. It ended up just being my friend and I on the tour as nobody else had booked, which meant we had more time to do a couple of extra stops for some more pretty pictures! The weather was perfect which was a bonus. James is an easy going guy and kept conversation going, meaning it wasn’t awkward in the van or throughout the day! Overall plenty of laughs and incredibly pretty views!

      Incredible
James was amazing and added so much character and history to the tour. The views were picture perfect on a clear winter day. Couldn’t fault the experience at all!

      Above and beyond!
My husband and I just moved here and we wanted to see the highlands while my mom was visiting us and this was a WONDERFUL tour. James really knows his stuff and you can tell he has a deep love for his country. We got to see a lot more than we thought we could in one day. The stops were frequent enough for rest breaks. We look forward to booking other day tours in the future!

      Perfect multigenerational tour
We had a wonderful 3 days exploring Isle of Skye and Highlands of Scotland from Edinburgh. Our tour guide Ailsa was fantastic and we buddied up with a second tour whom Jim was the tour guide for, together they were so knowledgeable and brilliant storytellers. I traveled with my mum and my sister (30s, 40s, 70s) and we all loved the experience. From enquiring to completion of the tour the company was great to deal with and accomodating of any requests. We were initially apprehensive about how much walking there would be however the guides knew exactly where to go for ease of access to attractions with comfortable options to wait if you didn’t want to do some of the longer walking stints. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone wanting to explore Scotland’s stunning highlands and the beautiful Isle of Skye.

Scotland’s Wild is the way to go. Best tour guide.
Best day out such a well timed experience never felt pushed or that it dragged. Our group only had 7 so you got plenty of room. The guide Owen was outstanding the knowledge and stories he told were entertaining and educational 5 stars.

      Scotlands Wild - Excellent Tours
We went on the Stirling Castle, Kelpies, Whisky, and Loch Lomond tour from Edinburgh with our guide Owen. He was amazing. His knowledge of history put everything into perspective for us. He is a great storyteller as well. I’m not sure how he remembers it all, but he tells his stories with a passion. Very friendly and a great driver. This was our second tour with Scotlands Wild but it not be the last. Very enjoyable and highly recommended!

Standing Stones and the Highlands - A Truly Memorable Experience
This was an amazing one-day tour. The Highlands were beautiful, covered in frost. Our guide Jim is passionate about his country and his work. He knows his history and brings it to life throughout the day to help us understand what we are looking at and to put everything into perspective. And he’s a fun guy who I hope will be the guide on my next visit.

Great tour! Our guide, Jim, was very knowledgeable and entertained us with great stories of the history of Scotland. The weather didn’t cooperate, however, it didn’t stop us from having a wonderful day. I’d highly recommend this tour

Jim was an excellent tour guide for us for our day trip to the stunning Glencoe He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and fun! He showed the Canadian ladies some wonderful Scottish hospitality! The trip was great despite the rain but Jim made it work and planned the stops accordingly. Highly recommended and will come back and take another trip.

      Wonderful experience!
I had a great time during the tour! Our guide was Karen and she did a wonderful job telling the old tales of Scotland. I booked the 5 day tour to the Orkney islands, which was quite a drive, but due to the stories told in advance, which I found useful because at every stop I would already have background information, the time flew by. The program is quite packed, however Karen did take our opinion into consideration and made changes when we asked. I will book another tour with Scotland's Wild Tours!

My friend and I took the 1-day Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park Tour from Balloch on September 15th and had a wonderful time. I cannot say enough good things about John. One never knows how spending the day with a "stranger" will go, but it felt more like spending the day with a comfortable friend showing us his favorite places. John was personable, easy-going, and full of knowledge about the area and some of the stories that go along with it. The day was a great combination of driving and hiking up to see wonderful views. I highly recommend Scotland's Wild, and in fact I so enjoyed the day that my dream is now to return to Scotland some day with my family and spend a week touring the country with a trip organized by John of Scotland's Wild.

Jim was our driver and guide. It’s a pretty easy day, won’t require a lot of effort, however, I wish we could walk a bit more. I’d suggest grabbing our own lunch, the place where we stopped at wasn’t great but to be fair there aren’t that many options around there. I’d recommend grabbing something from the cafe you stop at first for the toilet break - food looks way nicer than at the lunch place.

Our guide was fascinating and all inclusive in his story telling of regional history and his own experiences. We especially liked getting out into the countryside with walking excursions. Of course the landscape was beautiful but the guide brought it to life. Our little group was treated to rarely seen out of the way spots.

Jim was our guide on the Loch Lomond tour, picked up in Balloch on time in a comfortable mini bus type van drove us to amazing view point’s around Loch Lomond , there was some walking uphill about 40-60 minutes not to strenuous but worth it for the view, we also went to a couple of graveyard’s one about the fairy capital an interesting story told by Jim who is a very knowledgeable and likeable guy, then to rob roys grave and more interesting story’s. Had lunch at an outlet shop with a cafe where we met Hampshire and honey two highland cattle. I would recommend this tour the guides great knowledge and take you to places you would never find on your own

We had a fabulous day exploring the countryside with Laura! The weather was less than cooperative, but she didn’t let that dampen anyone’s spirits. One of the reasons we chose this tour was to get out and hike, which we really enjoyed. We appreciated Laura’s enthusiasm for Scotland and willingness to share and answer our many questions.

This tour gives you a great overview of Loch Lomond and the surrounding area, including its geology, flora + fauna and history. Our guide Calum, with his vast knowledge and great sense of humor, made the day really worthwile. I especially enjoyed the hikes with beautiful views and the fun conversations I had with Calum and my fellow travelers. The good weather was a plus too!

What a fantastic tour! Small van for 8 people which made this all-day trip that much more personable and enjoyable. Fabulous destination spots around Loch Lommond and great small walks to some breathtaking views. Our guide Lauren was young and vibrant. She was so fun to travel with and we couldn't have asked for a better tour guide.

This tour was fantastic! The views were some of the best I’ve seen, and it wasn’t too hard a hike to get to each place, making it really accessible for all. Our guide Cal was also fantastic, and made us feel at home, he has some really great knowledge of the area and is clear that he is passionate about the natural surroundings. Would highly recommend this tour, it’s by far kne kf the best most enjoyable things I’ve done.

I had the most amazing time on this tour with the tour guide Laura. Even though it was raining (and continued to rain the entire trip) Laura had a wet weather plan and made the necessary adjustments to the trip allowing us to do and see everything!

Laura was a fun and energetic guide with a fantastic knowledge about the Scottish landscapes and history. She is also extremely well prepared. She even provided us with some Scottish whiskey to keep us warm while on a hike (because it had been raining and a little chilly), and also gave us some traditional Scottish snacks to tide us over until it was time for lunch which was delayed because of the wet weather.

The tour has definitely exceeded my expectations. I had a great time with Laura and cannot recommend her and her tour enough! If you are thinking of booking, do not hesitate, you will not regret it!

Aisla & Kat were excellent tour guides, friendly, welcoming & knowledgeable. Great way to see the sights. Really enjoyed the included walks. Small change to the itinerary could make this even better by adding more time to explore Luss, with perhaps less time at the 2 graveyards.
