      Royal Oman experience
Our trip to the dunes and the wadi was made special by our guide Jihad Almamari who gave us a taste of Oman. He kept us thoughouly engaged throughout the day with content about Omani culture and way of life. He ensured that we got the best of shopping and food by giving us a flavor of buffet and street food and did not leave any stone unturned to give us a amazing experience.

Much more than we ever expected
This was our first time in Oman, and we loved every minute of our adventure exploring coast desert and mountain on our 6 day tour. It will take a while to process all of the brilliant experiences we had. The incredible beauty of this country spans its amazing geography and geology. Its ancient history so beautifully restored, its delicious food influenced from the surrounding countries and beyond. And most of all the calm kind hospitality of the Omani people. We lucked out getting Adil as our wonderful, knowledgeable, patient and generous guide. We laughed and we learned. And we are left keen to come back to continue the adventure. Thank you Adil. Only tweak we would suggest would be to stay in central Nizwa rather than on the outskirts.

      Incredible day trip from Muscat
This was the absolute best thing we did on our trip to Oman and UAE. Nizwa fort is amazing, and Jebel Shams was absolutely dizzying and breathtaking. Our guide, Khalid, was extremely kind, courteous, and pleasant over the long 11 hour trip, and we loved getting to know him. He was especially helpful in the Nizwa Souq, where he gave us a tour of various dates, spices, halva, saffron, honey, and more. Unlike other souqs we visited, the merchants were helpful and patient rather than pushy. If you're in Muscat, you have to get out of the city to see more of this beautiful country.

      Great Trip to Jebel Shams
Said was a great guide and the trip to Jebel Shams and Nizwa was perfect. We couldn’t have been happier with the time in the Nizwa souq, visiting the mountain and talking with Said throughout the day. And you so much for the wonderful memories!

      Great private tour in Oman
Jihad our tour guide was lovely and patient. Gave us great museum suggestions for kids. Took us for Halwa (Omani sweets) and we stopped for shawarma while at the souk. Jihad gave us tips on what's considered a reasonably priced things and what isn't just to put things in context. Grand mosque was stunning even in moonlight. We didn't make it for visitor times 8-11 but we still get to experience the mosque.

      cancelled last minute
cancelled last minute because there were not enough people booked. I received a text late the night before and had to reorganise something the following morning. Mine was a late booking, but still disappointing.

Unforgettable tour with amazing tour guide!
Our trip to Wahiba Desert and Wadi Bani Khalid was an incredible experience, thanks to our amazing guide, Jihad, who went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable. From the start, Jihad’s professionalism and warm personality set the tone. His deep knowledge of the region, its culture, and his genuine passion for sharing Oman’s beauty made the journey exceptional. In the Wahiba Desert, he guided us to stunning photo spots, a local Bedouin house for tea, and shared fascinating stories. At Wadi Bani Khalid, Jihad showed us the best swimming spots and hidden gems in this oasis paradise. His attention to detail—ensuring we were comfortable, hydrated, and capturing perfect photos—made all the difference. If you want a mix of stunning landscapes, adventure, and cultural immersion, this is it. With Jihad as your guide, you’re guaranteed an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

      Fantastic tour of Muscat
We had a fantastic tour of Muscat with Khalil. All the places we went to were very interesting and the Mosque and the Opera House were beautiful. Khalil was a great guide, very courteous and friendly and he gave us excellent information on every place we visited. We particularly enjoyed trying the local bread, snacks and sweets. Thank you Khalil for a great morning!

      Muscat city tour
Aziz did a wonderful tour. We went to the Grande Mosque which was amazing. Then the Opera House where there was a guide to tell us the history & how the stages could be adapted for various types of concerts. He took us to the souq, the Al Alarm Palace & showed us the forts. I would definitely recommend Aziz.

      Great trip!
We went as a group of friends and had a great time on this tour. Our guide Khalil helped us optimize the tour to see as many places as possible and to skip the crowds as much as possible. Oman's nature is beautiful, the people very welcoming and the country definitely worth a visit!

      The perfect weekend in Oman.
We went as a group of friends as a little celebration and wanted to experience some thing a bit unique. Had a great drive through the mountains which were spectacular. Detour to the Wadi Dayqah Dam was beautiful. Highlights were sighting turtles at Ras Al Jinz and an unforgettable swim in Wasi Shab: do get to the cave at the end as it is spectacular. Khalil was a great guide who solved our problems: big and small. We had a fantastic time.

      2 days in lovely Oman
was led by Khalil on a private tour with a customized itinerary that included Wadi Dayqah, a local sink hole, nighttime turtle sightings, a local watchtower and Wadi Shah, complete with local food tastings. our vehicle had a tire rupture which took some time to remedy but we were able to witness Khalil's tenacity and the kindness of the Omani where a random driver pulled over to pass us his air pump and help. all in all a wonderful experience.

Driver Juma picked us up at hotel at 8am. Drive to Nizwa Fort should be two hours but as we stopped along the way at a local market and at an Omani sweet store, we arrived at Nizwa close to noon.

Nizwa Fort and Castle. We spent about 2.5 hours there. Went to the souk (market) - visited a shop selling dates, spices, sweets. Many souvenir shops including daggers, silver shops, rifle shops!

Nizwa Fort entrance fee was 5 rial, not included in the package. There was a woman selling Omani bread. Fort contained decent exhibits of history of Nizwa, Oman, etc.

We had late lunch at a nearby Yemeni restaurant. After that we drove another 1.5 hours, some rocky roads, to Jabl Shams, the “Grand Canyon” of Oman. Juma laid out tea and coffee for us, freshly brewed. We were visited first by a single wild goat and then a whole herd of 7-8 with babies. They were keen to get food from us. By the time we left Jabl Shams it was already sunset (and the view there was magnificent). We arrived Muscat around 8pm.

As it was a "custom" tour, it's quite different from the description here. But it was all very pleasant. Juma was very hospitable.

2 excellent organised trips. First to Ras al Jinz and followed by a very exiting trip to Jebel Shams.

Oman day tours are not cheap, but they offer super value for the money and their tourguides are both very knowledgable and flexible.

We had a great day out visiting NiZia and Jebel Shams with our local Omani guide Jamu. He was welcoming, informative and very generous with his time and hospitality. Nizwa was beautiful with the souks, forts and minarets. The Omani troupe performing in the fort was particularly enjoyable. From there we visited Jebel Shams which takes a bout another 90 mins but is worth the trip for the majestic views. Jamu provided table , chairs and refreshments which were very welcome. We stopped on the return via Jamu’s village of Fanja which would definitely be worth a longer visit. Our boys (10 and 13) are not generally fans of long car trips but both said they enjoyed the day - high praise! Jamu was very informative about Omani life and culture.

Oman day tours also organised our half day city tour and dolphin/snorkelling. The latter was particularly enjoyable with lots of dolphins and snorkelling with sea turtles!

Overall the price seemed fair for the length of the tours. We would definitely recommend to others. The only improvement would be to provide more history and information on the sites.
