Had a great tour of Nizwa and Jebel Shams. The views from Jebel Shams were stunning and is called the Grand Canyon of Oman. Aziz was an amazing guide and drove extremely well to get us to the right spots in challenging terrain.

This is perfect one day tour if you any to experience a bit of the marvelous nature that Oman has to offer, the Wadi was a really nice stop, plenty of time to relax, swim and enjoy. Special thank to our guide Khalil, we made sure that we were comfortable and safe all the time, I highly recommend.

I booked this trip thru viator and my Tour Guide was Khalid. He was spot on time at 0900 and we visited the published itinerary which included Nizwa fort- Souq, Jebel Akhdar, the village and lastly the beautiful scenes of Jeble Akhdar. Khalid was extremely polite, knowledgeable and i enjoyed every minute of his company. He did not rush and we had a relaxing day. He has a thorough knowledge of the history and it was interesting to know a lot of things whech were new to me. He was a pleasure to have a company. I strongly recommend Khalid as a tour guide 10/10.

After a brief break we went onto the luxury palatial hotel Al bustan and The Royal Palace. Waleed was extremely polite, knowledgeable and i enjoyed every minute of his company. He did not rush and we had a relaxing day. He has a thorough knowledge of the history and it was interesting to know a lot of things whech were new to me. In the end he took me to oman mall and waited till i did the rounds and even picked up a McD burger. He was a pleasure to have a company. I strongly recommend Waleed as a tour guide 10/10.

Jebel shams trekking IS incredible, but our guide Waleed improve our experience to unforgettable. Waleed was very kind and pleasant guide always helping us in the hikking. Very good experience.

Our guide Said made sure we get to know up close the culture and traditions in Oman, he is very knowledgeable and made sure we had a great time during the tour, you get plenty of time to enjoy all the places, I highly recommend this tour.

We spent 2 days with Khalid Alraqadi as our guide. Today We visited Opera House NIZWA souq NIZWA fort Aljabal AlAkhdar (mountain) Birkat AlMuz It was excellent. Khalid made our journey fabulous with his kind spirit, knowledge, suggestions. He took us to places where the tour buses don’t go and we saw scenery and sites that were amazing. He also took a lot of pictures which he shared with us. We would highly recommend Star Tours Oman and Khalid!!!

My son Matthew and I had an excellent 4 day tour of Oman with Star Tours and Hamood as our guide. Oman is a fascinating country with lots to see and Hamood was very knowledgeable when showing us round and explaining the culture and history. Also the car we travelled in was a highlight for me, a very nice Land Cruiser V8.

Excellent tour seeing mountains, hiking and swimming in Wadi Shab, visiting Turtle Beach (real turtles!), sunset and overnight in the desert camp, visiting historic sights and much more. During 3 days seeing the best of Oman outside the capital area. We had a friendly and caring guide and driver Khalil Aljabri with great knowledge of all aspects of life in Oman, introducing us to some very good selection of Omani food during our trip (sambusa, mandazi, luqaimat), preparing for us real tea in the desert dunes. Very good car and accommodations. Highly recommend.

We had an excellent tour with our very knowledgeable guide, Khalid Airaqadi. Our tour included : Grand mosque Mattrah Souq AlAlam palace National Museum ALmirani & AlJalali fort Khalid was very flexible in the schedule and we never felt like we were being rushed. He took lots of photos for us and even put together a short video as a memory. We are looking forward to being with Khalid again tomorrow!!!

We had had a fantastic day exploring the forts and castles around Nizwa. Our guide, Ahmed, was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. In addition to explaining the various historical sites, Ahmed enthusiastically shared so many interesting insights into the Omani culture. We have a much better understanding and appreciation for this incredible country. Planning was very easy, logistics worked perfectly, and we had a great overall experience. We’d highly recommend Star Tour Oman and would strongly suggest asking for Ahmed!
