About
We’ll discover Verona with a walk. Starting from Piazza Bra we’ll admire Area di Verona. Through Via Mazzini, well known shopping street in Verona we’ll walk to the House of Juliet. Then we continue towards Piazza delle Erbe, Piazza dei Signori, Porta Borsari and the Arche Scaligere. We'll reach the Ponte di Pietra and, if you want, we can take the funicular and reach the San Pietro hill for a view from above of Verona. After a little lunch stop, we’ll go on to Lake Garda, where we’ll have a walk in the city centre of Lazise. The origins of the novels appear to be Lazise and A, a small village with a clear medieval imprint, characterized by walls, castle, doors and narrow streets.

About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- pointyendpreferred0 contributionsGreat Walking Tour With Martina! We really enjoyed our walking tour with Martina. She is clearly very passionate about Padua (Italian: Padova) and was happy to share many stories and historical anecdotes. She also recommended other things to see, where to eat, drink and even what cake to try. Things only a local knows! We also appreciated the fact that when she didn't know the answer to one of the many obscure questions we asked, she said so and didn't just give us an incorrect answer.Written 13 November 2024
- Robin H0 contributionsEscaping Venice to experience more of wonderful ItalyReally enjoyed our olive oil and wine tasting experience in the Euganean Hills. The train ride was very enjoyable and having the train tickets included in the tour cost was very convenient. Our tour guide was very nice and was very knowledgeable about the olive oil production process. The winery owners were very excellant hosts and provided very tasty wine and food pairings.Written 10 November 2024
- zeiguregunita0 contributionsVisiting PetrarchIt was a privilege to spend a few hours on such a beautiful day in a comfortable minibus taking a ride through the picturesque Euganean hills and seeing the wonderful town of Arquà Petrarca and the famous medieval dwelling of Petrarch. If you don't have a car, this place is otherwise inaccessible. And besides, our guide Chiara told and showed us a lot of interesting things, she was very warm and friendly, and spoke fluently not only English, but also my niece's native Portuguese! Along with two other very special and cosmopolitan ladies, my niece and I had some unforgettable moments. It was an incredible coincidence that we also shared a common origin with one of them! It's a small world! And very beautiful.Written 17 October 2024
- alexandrar8940 contributionsBeauty of VERONAOur tour guide was Chiara. She picked me on time, was knowledgable and easy to communicate with. During such short period of time we managed to see a lot of Verona and to learn about it history. Now, in my memory, the beauty of this city is associated with the beauty of our guide, Chiara. I definitely recommend to take such tour.Written 14 October 2024
- 195colleenk0 contributionsWonderful walking tour of PaudaFun and informative tour of the very pretty and interesting city of Pauda. Our guide was very knowledgeable and covered all the major sights. It was a great introduction to Pauda. Highly recommended.Written 30 September 2024
- 880johand0 contributionsA day of great winesWe had a lovely wine tasting tour to two very different vineyards, a modern one and a more traditional one. We loved the wines we got to taste there. And not to forget the amazing view at the first one and the tatsy cold cuts at the other one. And a big shout out to our guides, who were not only good informed, but also really funny and kind! Thanks for a great day and for the tips for the rest of our stay in Padua!Written 30 September 2024
- Hsjendjs0 contributionsHighly recommendedFantastic experience. Chiara is very knowledgeable and friendly. We were the only ones booked on so had a private tour. The views were great and it was very interesting to see the process for both olive oil and wine. The tastings were obviously the most important bit and delicious. Roberto explained the difference between the oils well, We had 6 oils and the difference between them was very stark. The wines were all wonderful and well chosen with some aperitivo to go with them. Elena is lovely, a great character and explained the wines very well. It was a very fun afternoon.Written 2 September 2024
- _ngelsc20200 contributionsNecessary to understand Italy: sparkling! The tour was great thanks to Chiara, our fabulous guide, who knows well the area, drives quietly and can speak English, Italian and Spanish. We enjoyed a peaceful day, far from busy cities, and we visited twoo wineries to discover the secrets of this wine and taste it. Wonderful tour!Written 26 August 2024
- 320emilier0 contributionsWonderful morning in the vineyards!Chiara took us to visit two wonderful wine producers who were very passionate about their products. It was nice to be able to taste a few bottles but above all, to know a little more about how the grapes are processed! And above all, to interact with such generous winegrowers! Chiara was a great guide, we really enjoyed spending time with her!Written 17 August 2024
- marianataliam20240 contributionsPeaceful, detailed and personalized tourOur tour was really Nice. We had been thinking of going to Verona on our own and were so glad we took this tour instead. Camilla was knowledgeable and helpful, adding history and color to places in Verona that we would otherwise not have noticed. And getting to walk through Sirmione on the banks of beautiful Lake Garda made it even more special. We highly recommend this tour!

Fantastic town hall building, with a large wooden roof, frescos, a very large horse, punishment stone and museum. There is a market in both the squares. The ground floor has many restaurants and shops.

Oct 2019
On October of 2019 while staying at Hotel Royal Montegrotto, Italy, we contracted LOVIVO Tour Experience to pick us up for a tour of Verona Italy and Lake Garda, Italy; about 100 km (62 mi) trip. The tour van was modern, clean and comfortable, Jasmine, a professional driver took all the stress out to the trip. Both Jasmine and her assistant spoke multiple languages. When we reached the destination, the tour guides escorted the group of six to many shops, restaurants, unique eateries, special sights of the area and wherever the group wanted to go, et cetera. The LOVIVO tour guides were well informed and kept a watchful eye over all. LOVIVO Tour made vacationing in Italy a pivotal experience.
