About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Dantche0 contributionsExcellent Cultural ExperienceThe trip to Lecce was a culmination due to the competent and dedicated guide Elvino Politi. Interpreting history facts in the cultural and geo-political context of the time made the trip exeptional. The marvelous Baroc architecture of Lecce impressed us much more with the help of Elvino. Highly reccomended experience! Thank you,Written 5 November 2022
- Adventurer8277750 contributionsAmong the best city tours I have ever doneWith his profound knowledge of the architecture and history of the city, as well as a good sense of humour, Elvino made us love Lecce. The route was well thought and explanations were thorough but never got too detailed. We always got the chance to ask our questions inbetween. Make sure you book this tour if you are in the area!Written 9 July 2020
- jgp1020 contributionsVery good tourist guideWe visited Lecce on a coach tour. The guide was very informative showing us all the points of interest. We finished up at the amphitheatre, which was very interesting from an historical point of view.Written 9 October 2015
- Ollie B0 contributionsInformative walking tour, super friendly guideMy girlfriend and I booked this tour in very broken Italian from the tourist information desk just by the Duomo. After meeting at another information desk in Plaza S. Oronzo (there are four), our guide, Chiara took us on a wonderful walking tour of the old town of Lecce. We took in all the main sights there are to see in this beautiful city. As we are not seasoned historians (amateur or otherwise) it was refreshing to not be overrun with dates. Tour guides tend to have this inclination. Chiara, thankfully, did not. Instead, she took us on a tour by means of some of the people of Lecce, interspersing it with the odd bit of art history, politics and religion. She was also very happy to answer our questions, no matter how repetitive or obvious they were. Suffice to say that we thoroughly enjoyed the tour, and would definitely not have had such a deep understanding of the city had we not had such a great English-speaking guide.Written 9 September 2014

Guida turistica davvero coinvolgente, preparata e disponibile.

Consigliatissimo
