Incredible tour with Fabrizio. Fabrizio is clearly extremely passionate and knowledgeable about archeology and the Pompeii area. He was extremely friendly and happy to answer all of the questions that we had. He tailored the pace of the tour for our group and he we had such a fantastic time on his tour. We had such an amazing day with Fabrizio. He is so knowledgeable and enthusiastic and made our trip to Pompei even better than we could have imagined. The wine experience was also brilliant with amazing food too! Overall, one of the best tours I have done and would recommend to anyone!

We spent a wonderful day in Pompeii and Herculaneum with a stop for lunch at Cantina del Vesuvio. Fabrizio was extremely knowledgeable and made sure that we had an enjoyable experience. We were initially supposed to go to Pompeii first, but he suggested we switch the order of our tours which turned out to be the best thing, as we practically had Herculaneum to ourselves. Lunch at the winery with wine tasting was delicious. Pompeii in the afternoon was a bit crowded, but we were able to tailor what we wanted to see. They were currently doing an excavation which we were able to observe which was extremely interesting -- from people using shovels and wheelbarrows to remove the pumice, to others using delicate brushes to remove dust. The frescos were amazing. I would highly recommend this tour and Fabrizio. We had been to Pompeii twice before, but neither of those times docould possibly compare to the experience that Fabrizio provided! He knew exactly how to avoid the crowds and maximize our time. His depth of knowledge was vast, and he was completely committed to making our time in Pompeii the best it could be. Lunch and wine tasting was delightful as well! You will not have a better experience than with Fabrizio! We cannot thank him enough for a wonderful day!

I had a wonderful experience!!! After a great tour of Pompeii by our very experienced tour guide we were taken to a wine tour and lunch! Although I did not drink any wine I was told they were great and the 3 course meal was excellent!!! 10/10 would recommend:)

I’ve been to Pompei before, but this time I got so much more out of the experience than the first. Not only the learning, but Fabrizio took us on a well guided tour curated for the most fascinating sights in pompei while keeping it concise and timely to avoid complete heat exhaustion. The winery was beautiful and the views were great. The wine is some of the best I’ve had. Overall, Fabrizio was great and a very kind, considerate, knowledgeable, and understanding individual. Definitely recommend.

This is an absolute must do. My family and I did a tour through Pompeii and it was unbelievable. Fabrizio knew exactly where to go and when to go there. It felt like we were the only ones in Pompeii and we were able to see the ruins before any crowds showed up. My family of five was asking questions the entire time and Fabrizio had an exact answer for everything we could think of. Best of all, he was able to customize the tour and sights so that we spent our energy going to exactly what we wanted to see most. I’ve done several tours in many countries and this is the one that will stick with me the most. We were truly immersed in the history and culture of Ancient Rome. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Italy. Five stars is not enough.

The tour picked us up at our VRBO location and the van ride to and from our tour destinations was comfortable. Our guide, Fabrizio, was very informative. His English was excellent. He was detailed in his answers to our question. He gave history lesson of Pompeii and Herculaneum as we drove from Sorrento which helped prepare us for the tours I wouldn’t suggest doing this tour on really hot days, not much shade or places to sit. Fabrizio did check on us regularly and gaged the pace of the tour on our mobility and interest. He asked frequently if we were feeling okay or need to rest. The winery stop was nice, but the “tour” seemed more about getting you to buy their products. Lunch at the winery was acceptable but not memorable. This was a very enjoyable tour and would suggest it to others. We wished we could have had Fabrizio for all our tours in Italy.
