Nightmare introduction to Paris. Driver was belligerent. Had the nerve to yell at me in the airport because he had to wait two hours for me to clear immigration. A situation which was not pleasant for any of the hundred of people who had to go through it it certainly not our fault. I didn’t even check any luggage so got to him as soon as was humanly possible. When I then asked him if I could include a fellow traveler in the private car I had rented for $96.28 a fare that by taxi is $58.00 and can be shared by any number of passengers. He said no! By this time I was very upset and uncomfortable with the man and I told my friend if she couldn’t come with me there was no way I was getting in the car with him. ( over 60 woman traveling alone). He finally consented and when we got to our hotel charged me an additional $80.00. So fellow travelers a $176.00 fare for a $58.00 taxi drive and got yelled at and made to fell very uncomfortable. Take a taxi!!!!!
