I did the History and Gourmet Tour of Saint Germain en Laye with friends and we all enjoyed it very much.
Alison took us for a very pleasant tour of this beautiful town, showing us its more important buildings and telling us about its interesting history.
She made us discover very authentic and unique gourmet spots, where we received a warm welcome, learned about their products and history and tasted delicious French local delicacies. Wine, cheese, fruit, pastries and chocolate, the whole taste palette of France.
Thank you very much Alison for this very pleasant and unique experience!

The experience of this tour was amazing. Alison was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable of the local history and could answer any question asked. The pace was easy going and not rushed. The samplings of the Parisian food was amazing, as were the stores themselves. Saint Germain En Laye is a beautiful place to visit. I would highly recommend this tour. It was a delight to be part of the experience. And a special thanks to Alison for accommodating me when I was running late.....

Our morning tour of Saint-Germain-en-Laye was truly a delightful and fun experience. Our guide was not only incredibly friendly but also shared a wealth of historical knowledge and the food and wine, flaky croissants, cheeses, chocolates, and more were delicious.
Despite having lived nearby this charming town for over a decade, I was amazed by the hidden gems we uncovered and the intriguing historical tidbits shared along the way. From stories of the town's past to its present-day culinary delights, each stop on the tour was a delightful blend of history and gastronomy. It was particularly interesting to discover the connections with Versailles and Louis XIV, who was actually born in Sain-Germain-en-Laye.
This tour is a must for anyone looking to discover the unique flavors and stories of Saint-Germain-en-Laye. It's an experience that not only satisfies the palate but also leaves you with a deeper appreciation for the town's rich history and culinary traditions.

Thank you to Alison for such a wonderful walking and tasting tour.
Starting a cold Sunday morning with delicious hot chocolate and croissants whilst listening to your expert knowledge was a great way to get started.
After hot chocolate we headed off through st germain en laye and to the market. Here we were greeted with a delicious ‘galette de roi’, chocolates, crusty bread and hams and cheese. Such a treat to learn about LouisXIV whilst eating such delicacies!
The tour came to an end in a lovely French wine shop, pairing red and white wines with the hams and cheese brought from the market.
Overall - great tour, great food and a great guide ! A lovely way to spend a morning and to learn some local history.

I had a wonderful afternoon on Alison’s gourmet tasting tour which began with the most delicious hot chocolate I have ever tasted!
We sampled lots of treats in the local shops and I learnt so much about the history of this beautiful town of Saint germain en laye. Alison is a lovely lady and you will feel like you have known her for years! I cannot wait to book the next one, thank you Alison!

10/10 experience with plenty of food and wine to accompany the in depth story telling by our guide. Charcuterie board at the end was definitely the highlight.
