Best trip ever! The scenery and tours were fantastic. Matko, our guide, was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, flexible, humorous and very adaptable to the groups wishes. He spoke good english and was a great communicator. He seemed to know everything and everyone in Croatia. We had a blast sea kayaking, hiking, biking, river rafting, river canoeing and river kayaking. Matko was proficient at all and made us all feel comfortable. The meals and accommodations were really nice. And, the tours of architecture, the views, the history...all spectacular. I would HIGHLY recommend Huck Finn!

Did the multi-sport trip from Dubrovnik to Zagreb. Had an amazing time. Even though there was a heat wave in Croatia at the time, because we did so many water activities (kayaking, canoeing, rafting), we barely felt the heat. And "Meecha," our guide, was fantastic -- constantly ensuring our comfort and our promptness -- as well as guiding us in various cultural activities. And he kept us in stitches the whole trip. Can't thank the Huck Finn Team (including Vanja) enough!

We did the 7 night multi-sport adventure tour from Dubrovnik to Zagreb. Marko and Petar were our guides, and we were a group of 6 adults out of a total of 12 people on the tour. The trip far exceeded our expectations—it is an incredible value. We loved all of the adventures-hiking, biking, kayaking, rafting, canoeing, and sea kayaking. Marko is very experienced and kept us well informed, safe, and frequently laughing. Petar was very helpful throughout the tour and extremely friendly. We also greatly enjoyed the local meals at family restaurants and an incredible peka lunch with family in a small village. There was a nice balance of structured activities and free time for swimming and relaxing. The accommodations were as described-modest but clean. Highly recommended, and we look forward to another adventure with Huck Finn in the future.

We did a 5 day sailing adventure from Hvar to Dubrovnik and it was too short. We loved it so much we all wanted to stay more days! It’s a great way to see little out of the way island villages, without hordes of tourists. Everything was excellent. The boat was comfortable with plenty of shade and places to sunbathe. Our excellent experience started with Vanya in the office, who answered our many questions with great patience. The skipper Daniel was a very experienced and capable sailor and we always felt safe. He was also funny. Taychi was our guide and she made sure we always knew what was going on. She gave us lots of information about the islands and their history, as well as about Croatia in general. Her quirky sense of humour made the information very entertaining. She also made delicious breakfasts. She and Daniel worked together as a team very well. It was a great mix of sailing, water sports and cycling. We would highly recommend it.

This was our second sailing adventure with Huck Finn Adventure Travel. We went as couple in 2012 on the Sailing Dubrovnik Island adventure and then this past summer Dubrovnik to Hvar with our 3 young adult children. A trip to Hvar was amazing. Lots of nice island stops as well as time in the Adriatic with lots of swim breaks. The Adriatic felt exceptionally clean. Boat was clean and comfortable. Rooms obviously small, but very well designed and you are only there to sleep. Our captain Daniel and tour guide Tijana were fantastic! They really went out of their way to make the trip great. The trip being 4 full days / 4 nights is really the ideal amount of time. Anything shorter would have left us feeling deprived and I think anything may have felt like too much. The sailing adventure is a great value as they include snorkeling gear and I think 6 paddle boards (which we used a lot). For meals (other than breakfast), they always take you to or recommend some place very nice and authentic.

We all had an amazing few days on the Catamaran with our skipper Daniel and host/ guide Tajana. We visited lots of fantastic crystal clear blue bays to swim/ snorkel and paddle board. Daniel made sure we always went to quiet bays and Tajana gave us loads of useful local information. They organised 2 amazing dinners with locals cooking and recommended restaurants on the other nights. Daniel and Tajana were professional, friendly and had a great sense of humour. Great trip, highly recommended 😃

I’ve done a lot of boat tours in Croatia and this one was by FAR the best! Team Danijel and Tijana were really fun and very professional. The boat was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this boat tour to anyone and everyone.

4 nt Sailing from Hvar to Komolac. Wow, what a trip! This, coupled with a stay in Dubrovnik old town afterwards, has to be one of the best trips I've ever been on! Croatia itself is absolutely stunning and the sailing catamaran was just great. I absolutely loved it. What a way to see the beautiful coastline. Tajana and Daniel (our host and skipper) were the best. Funny, informative, safety conscious but all in all the best leaders. The vibe was so chilled; my fellow guests were just great which also made the trip.... I can't recommend this experience enough..... Down to Earth, stunning, fun, active and some unique experiences too.... Thank you Huck Finn, just amazing!

We (including my husband and our 2 teen sons), were very excited for this trip because it sounded like it had a lot to offer. Unfortunately, many of the activities did not happen. Of course, the weather has to fit for certain activities but some were not dependable on the weather and when it was because of the weather, there was no alternative program. For example: We never had the opportunity to "dine with local families in their homes" as clearly included in the tour description. This was something that we were REALLY looking forward to, since as a tourist this is never really possible. Except for about 1 hour, the whole "sailing" trip was done with the engine! I understand here too that there are certain weather requirements, but we saw MANY other boats sailing at good speeds. Only in Sipan were we offered to use the kayaks. 2 of the nights we went back to the same port, in Sipan. This is not really the nicest port to stay in but it was quite obvious, that the tour guides preferred to stay in Sipan since there was an apartment that they could use. The other ports that we went to visit, we barely had enough time to look around, shop or swim. This is the first ever negative review that I have given to a tour, since I am quite flexible on my expectations and I know things can change, but this was SO disappointing. The only positive things to say is that the boat was really nice and the other guests were great. If you are looking for a sailing trip off the coast of Croatia, I would just book day trips that you can book when you are in Croatia. There are a ton of offerings. The other people on the boat were also disappointed with the trip. I wrote to the Huck Finn travel company after our trip, but I never received a reply. Hope this information helps with your decision making and expectations.

Had an amazing holiday on Sipan Island with cycling and canoeing and swimming and hiking adventure! The island of Sipan is beautiful and relaxing and an ideal spot for a holiday. The host and adventure guide Marcos was amazing and we really enjoyed our time there. The food also was great! Fantastic time!

Multisport Croatia (One week): Start in Dubrovnik. Spent a week making way up the country seeing many of the scenic and cultural highlights of Croatia. Sea kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking, rafting, walking and cycling in different national parks as well as a visit to Mostar in Bosnia. Outstanding professional, knowledgeable, fun and caring guides who really gave us a feel for Croatia. Would highly recommend to anyone who likes being active, meeting people and would like to get out into Croatia's National Parks to see this country's amazing scenery.

My husband and I went on the 8 day Multi-Sport Best of Croatia tour this past September and had a wonderful time. Our guide, Marko, was fabulous and made the experience fun and personal for our small group of 6 participants. Marko insured everyone was comfortable during each of our activities and provided a good level of insight into the culture and history of Croatia. Each place we stayed and ate was unique and in wonderful locations that we would not have found had we been traveling on our own. Would highly recommend a tour with Huck Finn Adventures, and especially with Marko as your guide.

From the first email I sent enquiring about availability to the moment we were dropped off after our second trip with them, Huck Finn were nothing but totally fantastic. At short notice, I was able to arrange both a Plitvicka Lakes 8 day multi activity holiday and a 4 day Dubrovnik to Hvar sailing trip, with excellent communication and all information we needed provided via email. The trips themselves were both phenomenal. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 children aged 14, 11 and 9 and we all had a brilliant time throughout. The lakes trip was very active but my son who had just turned 9 was just about able to do it all. The guides are so great and really look after you the whole time. We had Marko for 8 days and he is the nicest guy you could meet. Even as he dropped us off at our next accommodation, he said if we needed anything else while we were in Croatia then just to let him know! Daniel and Luka on the boat were also both fantastic. We had lovely food everywhere and breakfast was very generous. We were able to see so many beautiful places and always away from the worst of the crowds. Memories that will last a lifetime. We wouldn’t hestitate to use Huck Finn again.

We did the 4 night sail from Hvar to Dubrovnik and this was an absolutely amazing trip! The highlight of our 2-week trip to Croatia! The boat accommodations were great for our family of 6, including our two boys (10 and 7). We had Danijel as our captain and he was excellent - a seasoned and talented sailor and very knowledgeable, but also warm and friendly. Luka was our guide and was equally knowledgeable, warm, and friendly. They were both great with the kids and tailored our trip expertly to our family. Every day felt different and the ports, dinners, and awesome breakfasts prepared by Luka made our stay easy and comfortable the whole time. We had an amazing time exploring the islands - from biking around Mjlet national park to kayaking on Sipan to swimming in blue cave (to name just a few). Each day was a full experience we will remember forever. They made the atmosphere on the boat during the sails between islands friendly and relaxed also. Cannot recommend highly enough!

We had a full experience and every part was amazing! We spent several sunny days and evenings on the catamaran while going between Sipan, Kolocep, and a lighthouse on it's own island. We enjoyed stand-up paddle boarding and swimming in the calm bays of different islands and used kayaks and e-bikes to explore the islands and the towns. Each activity was as leisurely or as intense as you wanted it to be- they were able to accommodate each guest's expectations. The water was so clean and clear while the sights were breathtaking! We really enjoyed how fresh and healthy the meals were -SO tasty ! They accommodated a vegan diet and guest requests, often serving meals on the boat while traveling peacefully to our next destination. The relaxing environment was perfect for all guests to visit and enjoy conversation or the quiet beauty - we really appreciate the other guests that were on our trip! It was a small group and we each had our expectations exceeded! You have the option to paddle/ride/hike as leisurely or intense as you like with knowledgeable instructors. We really enjoyed our informative visits to Ston and Dubrovnik but were happy to get back to our place on Sipan each evening because you had a gorgeous sunset on the island or boat ride back! The people of Croatia were very welcoming and warm. We feel we received SO much more than we paid for and would travel with Huck Finn again!
