The best Similan Island tour
A smoothly run tour with excellent guides & staff. Always keeping safety in mind whilst giving us the best experience. It's a prompt and early pick up but so worth it as then we were 1st boat on the stunning beaches before it gets too busy. Thanks to Game and the tour staff including the cool Zen like boat captain! Definitely the most beautiful beaches & sea in the world.
Amazing cooking class
Was such a pleasure learning to cook Authentic Thai food with the gorgeous Apple. Learnt lots of recipes and some great tips too. Highly recommended xxx

Absolutely Worth It!
This is the original sea cave tour and is operated by the same owner, John Gray, who founded the caves almost 30 years. We were fortunate to have Mr. Gray on board our boat on the day we participated in this tour. The drive to the departure marina was approximately one hour. Our cab picked us up on time at the hotel lobby and we returned home at the promised time. The boat and kayak equipment are very clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and MANY guides speak English. We loved the opportunity to make our own flower ‘Krathong' for release in the dark. Our sunset was amazing over the horizon. I HIGHLY recommend this day trip. It's one of the best, less tourist dominated, activities available in Phuket.

A MUST do while in Krabi!
Ya's Cooking Class was a huge highlight of our honeymoon. We learned so many dishes, got to try each one, and learned how to not only make all the elements that go into a dish but learned the benefits to each ingredient and what they do for your body. It really helped us to appreciate Thai cuisine and understand all the flavors in some of our favorite Thai dishes. We also were able to take some of the food we made home with us, as well as cookbooks that we were given so we can try the recipes at home. It was such a memorable experience, and I'd recommend it to anyone staying in this area!!
Our 1/2 day snorkel tour with Bird and Wood? Was amazing! Despite the cloudy rainy weather which was out of their control they made sure to do the best they can to give us the best experience. They were very attentive funny kind. Fed us with great food on the boat for lunch among with fruits, coffee and tea. We were lucky enough to see two turtles that day!!!! I'd recommend Oxygen snorkel to anyone!

The guides were fantastic, the food was great, the scenery was amazing. Shout out to our guide Tiger for making the the trip special. Highly recommend!
Amazing scenery and excellent service
We visited the Similan Islands with our elderly parents booking with WOW Andaman Tours. We were collected punctually from our accommodation about half an hour away and delivered home with ease.
Arty and his amazing team went out of their way to assist with our elderly guests. There were 39 travellers on our boat and the whole team were very considerate and attentive to all guests, from families, young couples and the older ones. The trip to and from the islands was approximately an hour and half from Khao Lak.
Arty was very knowledgeable and keep everyone entertained. The team and boat crew did an excellent job keeping everything running smoothly.
The islands themselves were very beautiful and water was extremely clear, refreshing and sand was white and powdery.
We stopped off 2 times for snorkelling and 2 different islands for swimming/exploration.
We were provided refreshments all throughout the day and ample lunch.
The day was very long but worth it. Many other guests were weary after the travel.
Upon return to Khao Lak we were provided another meal/refreshments before being dropped back to our accommodation.
We booked early in the season, (2nd day of the open season) commencing October through to May, so the anticipated tourist numbers were less than half, around 1500, but we did not notice that many as Arty and his team were conscious of taking us to the quieter spots at the quieter times. Well organised.
The only thing that was odd from our point of view was that we had to take off our shoes to get on the boat, which I understand. We expected our shoes to come with us which they did not. Do walking around on the islands much was not an option with no shoes. Many of the Japanese/Asian tourists were obviously given the heads up about this matter and wore reef shoes/socks, so they had some support for their feet. Our elderly parents struggled getting on and off the boat and walking around on the islands. My husband and I could not do the hike up a rock either as we had no shoes. However we enjoyed just relaxing under the trees anyway. We did bring this to Arty’s attention in case they should be able to allow shoes for island walking/visiting. Upon returning, getting off the boat with the low tide and steep ramp and no shoes was also a little difficult.
The team however did go out of their to help our parents at all times which was very much appreciated.
All up, it was worth the trip, however we are spoilt by magnificent beaches etc in Australia as well. Arty and his amazing team definitely made the trip more memorable.
Good choice to go early
Good tour. The early take off got us away from the crowds for the first half of the trip. After around 10am though, they'll catch up to you. No way around this. Be aware that phi phi is very, very touristy. It's still beautiful, just expect to see a lot of people, no matter what tour you take. It's a small area that everyone wants to see.
That being said, we don't regret taking the early tour for one second. The crew was super friendly, too.
It's a good experience and I'll recommend to kayak your own boat by yourself to enjoy to the fullest even on the 1st time of course if you are strong enough. It's not hard to control at all.

We had such a fantastic day with Don and his amazing crew. By far the most professional company around. An early start - but so worth it as we beat all of the other boats and crowds. Superb snorkelling in such a beautiful place.
Can not recommend Dom and his enthusiastic, friendly team enough who clearly love what they do.
Fun day for our family
We were staying on Railay beach and this appeared to be the only tour that did not feature a Railay beach stop on its itenerary which is why we chose this tour. We also were warned that the Phi Phi island tour was the most popular and we were hoping for a bit of a quieter experience. Well... this was not quieter. The boat picked us up at 9:30 from Railay Beach, which was nice, and we were brought to a lagoon (you cannot swim even though other boats had their guests swimming). This stop appears to only be included for a photo op. From there we stopped at our first stopped and the driver expertly parked the boat in the middle of a lot of other boats seemingly fitting in a spot that we did not think possible. Being that we went in Oct. the water had a lot of jelly fish (we're assuming) as we were all stung multiple times. This was happening at Railay beach, although a bit less often, so I think it's just how it is this time of year. The swimming and snorkeling was not great here as there was a very small designated area and it was pretty packed with other tours. From here we drove about 5 minutes to another area where we anchored in the water and went for a snorkel (you are not allowed to go to shore as it is a private beach). The water was not very clear but it was still exciting to see the coral and sea urchins and fish. The two adults and two kids (8,9) in our family all loved it. The other people in our tour also seemed to enjoy it. From here we went to Pak Bia island which was where we had lunch. The lunch was a boxed lunch which included rice, a fried egg, and a chicken/vegetable mix. As a vegetarian I could only eat the rice and egg but my son and husband didn't appear thrilled with the chicken vegetable mix. They did also offer friend chicken with I hear was better. The snorkeling here was good but I'd bring a pair of water shoes as the rocks under the water were VERY slippery. Also, with eating lunch we barely had 5 minutes to explore before we had to get back on the boat. The last stop was Hong Island which was enjoyable for snorkeling. We had a lot of time here. We collected seashells but then were later told we had to dump them out as we were not allowed to take any with us (would have been nice to hear about this before we stopped but oh well!). All in all it was a good tour, relaxing to be out on the boat and seeing some amazing views. Lunch would be better with a vegetarian option as my daughter and I were both starving when we got back to our beach and it might be nice to see places that were a bit less crowded. However, it was fun and we'd recommend others to spend some time doing this tour (though we'd warn them about the negative aspects - too many people on the boat to enjoy the ride, lunch if you don't eat meat is a bummer, you can't collect shells/rocks, too many other tours at the same beaches, possible jellyfish at all the beaches, and not long enough stops at each place except Hong Island) so they knew what they were getting into).
Great experience, watch out for monkeys
This tour was an amazing way to see the Phi Phi Islands! I went with my boyfriend in February 2019. Our guide Fay was absolutely amazing; super engaging and made the tour even better! They took pictures of us, and then sent them individually to us a few days after the tour, which was above and beyond our expectations! (they want to use Whatsapp, but we didn't have that, so we used our email instead)
It is very fast-paced, on and off the boat starting and stopping a lot, which we really enjoyed because we were able to see so many of the islands in one day. There is a small fee (400 baht I believe) that you pay upfront, which we knew about before going, and it was definitely worth the money!
Everything is done at your own risk, I would recommend being careful around the monkeys, do not get too close, they can come at you. They do tell you this before you leave on the tour, and you are responsible for yourself. My boyfriend was grabbed by a monkey, but that is not the tours fault in the slightest! It is completely safe as long as you are careful! However, I would probably not recommend this tour for small children, it is too fast-paced and potentially dangerous if you are not careful.
Overall, this tour was the highlight of our vacation and I definitely recommend it!
Had a lot of fun with great teachers and a beautiful view highly recommend doing this day course such great food!
Once in a lifetime!
It was an amazing experience we will never forget. Our guides were Dool and Tae and they were outstanding, very friendly and we felt they truly loved their jobs. They did an excellent job of ensuring that our sons, who were one one sea kayak, and us parents on another stayed together the entire time. We were able to see the caves during the day, swim, and enjoy some fun in the boat. Lunch was amazing and abundant Thai food. Our teens boys loved going to the caves at night and seeing the bioluminescent plankton. AMAZING! Groups also participate in making a flower arrangement that is released into the water and then retrieved. I thought this would be a romantic place to propose at night. The guides did all of the paddling so you can just sit back and take in alter beauty. If you are considering this excursion, you will not regret it! I should mention that I am claustrophobic. I was a little nervous when they said I would need to lean back for under 10 seconds during one part of the night cave. It was not a big deal at all. One of the guides even brought a life jacket for me to rest my head on, if needed. One of the most memorable experiences we’ve ever shared as a family! I appreciated how Dool and Tae interacted with my sons too! 😊

Booked this trip based on previous reviews as was a bit sceptical that the price was a bit high. I couldn't have been more pleased that I decided to book this, from start to finish every part of the day was amazing. Got picked up from hotel on time and transferred to ferry. Food served throughout the day was amazing, plenty for everyone to go round. Vegetarians like myself were well catered for. Caves were amazing, our guide, noi, was so friendly and engaging, answering our questions and making sure we didnt miss anything. John Gray himself was on our boat which was special. Fab to see he still enjoys the trip as much as his customers. Would recommend that everyone do this trip, you wont be disappointed. Loved every minute of it and worth every penny.
