- traceyjoyc0 contributionsA must for all GOT fansFirst time visit to Belfast for myself and my son , we are both GOT fans so this studio tour was the main reason for our trip Booked on the official website with a coach transfer from Belfast and lunch included The coach was on time with a very pleasant driver journey was just over 30 minutes . When entering the studio the staff are very friendly and helpful and the tour : WOW!! Loved it from start to finish it’s a self guided tour with a small group so you can take your time to take everything in . We had lunch in the restaurant which was amazing value for money and again the staff were very attentive. Finished off in the gift shop where these so much choice and my son had a photo on the iron throne. A great day out Highly RecommendWritten 13 January 2025
- HymieMcBain0 contributionsIncredibleAmazing. Simply amazing. You are made to feel very welcome at the cloakroom before entering the tour. As you walk in the costumes immediately blow you away. I would recommend this to any and every Game of Thrones fan. The bar is reasonable priced and the themed cocktails are delicious. (Posted photos but no spoilers)Written 13 January 2025
- mackm2610 contributionsAnd now my watch has endedHi. The tour as expected was fantastic. Big fans of the show so I knew me and my partner will enjoy it. I wasn't wrong. Everything blew my mind, awesome experience, can't recommend it enough to anyone who wants to learn behind the scenes and extra information about the show. Studio tour was great, fantastic atmosphere, loads of information, displays...great memories. However, something else happened that made this experience million times better, it was Nathan. Nathan went above and beyond, 5 out of 5 stars doesn't fully represent how great we felt after meeting such helpful, positive individual. We even knew where to go for our evening meal thanks to Nathan's recommendation. Thank you and all the bestWritten 12 January 2025
- katiekW3601RF0 contributionsHave not watched GoT but was BLOWN AWAY by the tour experience.I absolutely LOVED this experience. We drove from Belfast, so easy to get to and well signposted to park (free) at The Boulevard Outlet Mall. The bus transfer process was easy and fun. It was a cold day so it was a bonus that our coats and accessories were looked after in the Cloakroom. There is a lovely looking cafe at the entrance which we didn't use but would be a great place to hang our if you get there early or when you finish the tour. I'll be honest GoT is not my thing but seeing the work of talented craftspeople and knowing people who worked on the show means I was curious and was honestly blown away. I found the balance between the interactive, fun elements and the sets, costumes and department details perfect. We stopped for lunch at the excellent restaurant in the middle of the tour and enjoyed themed cocktails/mocktails and good food. Every member of staff was lovely (special mention to Dylan in the Gift Shop for his patience with us). We loved getting our photos taken at the green screens and have hilarious memories to keep. It was a very relaxed tour, we were left to see everything at our own pace. For a fan of the series it must be somewhat mind blowing as it was an extraordinary display of talent to someone like me who knows nothing about it! Everyone should go to see it at least once for a great day out!Written 5 January 2025

I loved all the rooms displayed which bring back great memories having been a long fan of the HBO series. Staff is also very friendly and helpful. I recommend using the coach service which is a short drive to Belfast city centre.Written 2 January 2025
- angelaoZ7283RC0 contributionsGOT tour BelfastFantastic insight into the hugely popular TV series. Amazed at the fabulous costumes & props on display. Excellent back story as to how it was brought to life from book to screen. Only one negative:- the information cards at each costume were difficult to read due to size/lighting/proximity of the cardsWritten 15 December 2024
- 629sparklec0 contributionsAmazing tourWe had an amazing time. The staff were friendly and helpful. The merch was reasonably priced. You can go as fast or as slow as you want during the tour.Written 14 December 2024
- Amckenzie920 contributionsExcellent Experience and Friendly Staff! The Game of Thrones Studio Tour did not disappoint and as a huge fan of the series, this is an excellent way of really putting things into perspective regarding the sets, props and costumes from the popular show! The transfer was really easy from Belfast and probably the most convenient way to get there from the city. I would particularly like to thank Lesley (Tour Guide) and Shauna (photography) for their excellent customer service - the passion, knowledge and high energy throughout our interactions made a lasting impression, and I look forward to crossing paths with you both again!Written 12 December 2024
- ngw19910 contributionsGame of thronesBrilliant for anyone who is a fan of the show we got the bus from Belfast and it wasn’t too long to the studio and had plenty of time there to look around great value for money. And staff are really friendly and talkative.Written 5 December 2024
- frederickp6150 contributionsCustomer ServiceAn excellent tour and certainly worth a visit. Would certainly recommend. I would add that as we were leaving one of the GOT team was setting up for an evening event. My son in law and l got chatting to her (we didn't get her name, sorry) as we both used to work in hospitality. She asked us how long we were visiting Belfast and my son in law mentioned we were over for his birthday for the weekend. As we were leaving to catch our coach back, she gave him a card - a birthday card from all the team. I thought this was a really nice thoughtful touch - thank you. Sorry l didn't get the name of this lady but she deserves a mention in dispatches for sure.Written 2 December 2024
- meb3qq0 contributionsEpic Experience for FansI was recently in Dublin and had the opportunity to take the tour to the Game of Thrones studio. I had an absolute blast! The pickup was straightforward at the bus station. The ride to the studio lasted for roughly an hour and a half. I don’t want to spoil anything, but if you’re a true fan, you will not be disappointed. The setting, the costumes, the props, the interactive games and behind the scenes information were fantastic. My only tip-don’t buy the package that includes lunch. There’s so much to see in the museum, plus the store and photos-there’s not a lot of time to waste on lunch.Written 27 November 2024

This tour is simple a must for Game of Thrones fans.
If you are a big GOT fan, such as myself, you almost can’t believe that you stepping foot into the red keep, castle black, winterfell and the rest of Westeros. The sets, costumes and layout of the tour is simply amazing, and the tour was a lot more interactive than I was expecting.
I would highly recommend the tour for GOT fans but I also think casual fans and film lovers would enjoy it too. The tour took us just over 2.5 hours but it flew by. The staff were very friendly and the shop at the end had some great stuff, I even got some photos and t-shirt which were both of very good quality. The only disappointing aspect of the tour was that some of the information about each set was quite generic or information that you can easily find online, seasoned GOT fans would learn nothing new here.
I got the bus from Dublin and, while the driver was slightly late arriving, the trip was very smooth and responsibly priced. I would highly recommend this tour.

Our trip started badly with a rude staff member at the ticket desk at the Boulevard park and ride. We had booked accessible parking at the studio but had an additional family member travelling via shuttle bus at boulevard (no room in our car). We arranged to meet her at boulevard to ensure she got the bus ok as she was alone. We saw the bus and went direct to it but the (very polite& helpful) driver said we needed to scan the ticket and directed us to the building. I got to the desk and explained I was told we needed to scan the ticket. The staff member solely said “yea, inside” gesturing behind her. I said thank you and went inside, expecting to see a person or machine where tickets could be scanned. There was nothing obvious so I went back to the desk and politely said “ hi sorry where abouts do I scan the ticket?” & in response the staff member snapped “inside”. I said “yes. Where??” To which she replied “I will be in in a minute!”. Her manner was not much better when she came to scan the tickets. She seemed very irritated by the basic and polite questions I asked. I had waited to be called forward and had taken up literally seconds of her time. Utterly bizarre for someone working in the leisure and Tourism industry. Anyway the people on the customer service telephone line when we booked the accessible parking prior to this couldn’t have been more helpful, same for the bus driver & everyone we met at the tour. Little things like being offered ear defenders for our baby during the theatre section make all the difference. Very thoughtful. Really great customer service at the studio and the exhibition itself is fantastic. The costumes and prosthetics were the highlights for us. Really worth going to see.

A brilliant studio tour for fans of GOT. You see how all the different worlds were built in the show with brilliant displays of costumes, weapons, sets and more. Some of the original sets are still up and populated with artefacts from the show. The tour can be easily self guided with information everywhere, videos and clear labels. There are some interactive points such as screens to be CGI and a bow and arrow game. It's easily followed and really impressive. The staff were lovely, helpful and knowledgeable. We chatted to one of the staff, Pete, who gave us lots of information, suggested places to take pictures, and gave some inside facts about his time as an extra. A wonderful day with an easy transfer from the car park via shuttle bus. The gift shop was even fairly reasonably priced as was the cafe - which is unusual for most places like this. It was very quiet on the day we went and I hope more people hear about the place and go! Would recommend to anyone!

We enjoyed the studios and looking around. It was very quiet which was great even though it was school holidays. I am registered disabled so phoned ahead to book the blue badge parking space. The lady asked for the car details etc and then asked for our booking number. I said I was to still book as we couldn’t book unless we knew blue badge parking was available. She said I could pay over the phone. Told her I had my two young children (under 12 as it states on the child’s ticket) and my carer. The lady then said she would have to speak to her manager as I could not have so many “free” tickets. I would only be allowed one per paying guest. I told her if I booked on the website I could choose my carer and then two young children tickets which she said the website wouldn’t allow that either?? After 5 mins she came back and said the manager would let us in if we paid for myself and one child at £5. I paid this but felt it was very discriminatory considering the prices on the website clearly state under 12 are free and then I have my access card for my concessionary carer. It just left a sour taste considering we would be spending in the cafe and gift shop. Just want to make everyone aware of this as I don’t feel it is very fair to those who are disabled and have to pay extra.

I went with my wife and I as a Game of Thrones fan I really enjoyed the whole experience, immediately getting taken into the whole Game of Thrones vibe. However, my wife who is not a fan found the costumes, set designs and attention to the smallest detail fascinating and consequently we both had a good time.
However, as a business owner myself I was staggered as to how many opportunities were missed by the operator of the tour to further enhance the experience and at virtually zero cost whilst generating more income. The thing that was so disappointing was the gift shop full of mundane tat whilst true fans like myself would have happily spent on high quality value merchandise. How can you have a Game of Thrones gift shop without an offering of Helmets, Swords etc. The other very poor aspect was the location that has zero public transport links which means if you visit on a Monday to Friday you either need a car or pay £100 plus on Taxis for the return fair. This huge cost very nearly put my wife of visiting (and therefore me) whereas a small shuttle bus running 2/3 times a day from the centre of Belfast for a small self financing charge would increase visiting numbers drastically. Linen Studios need a new marketing Manager and quick

Absolutely amazing! 100% need to visit if you're a Game of Thrones fan. The detail and information is incredible and to see all the original costumes worn by the cast was fab. It's mind blowing how much goes into these productions.
The studio tour is about 30 minutes out from belfast city though so please ensure you check your locations and transport ect. A taxi will cost around £50.

I wish I could rate it higher. I went with my dad for his birthday, before our visit I spoke to them about parking (as my dad has a blue badge) I explained that it was also his birthday. They asked for his name and age so that it could be displayed on the screen before the tour. I had also booked the themed afternoon tea as a surprise. When we arrived my dad was given a birthday card, his name was being displayed on the rolling screen just before the tour and as we walked through the tour every member of staff we met wished him happy birthday. When we went into the cafe inside the tour for our afternoon tea, the staff in there wished him a happy birthday, he even got sung to as a plate with a piece of cake was given to him and on the plate it had "Happy Birthday 85" Even when we entered the shop the staff wished him happy birthday.
The tour itself is absolutely brilliant, it was my second visit having visited last year with my wife Carole. I learnt a few new things about the show too.
I cannot thank the staff enough for the absolutely brilliant day they gave my dad.

This is the ultimate game of Thrones' fan experience! From start to finish, it was brilliant! We were in the tour around just over 2 hours(with a coffee and cake stop). You could stay longer if you really want to take every single shred of information in. Make sure you ask the staff about thing as they are really well informed and are so willing to pass on their knowledge to the visitors! My only issue was that the professional photo that were taken by the studio were a little expensive.

Although I have not really watched this in any detail I was intrigued to see what all the fuss was about. My daughter is also studying Moving Media so she wanted to see how it was made and get some behind the scenes tips. I had a voucher so we did not have pay full price which is a bit steep for what is essentially 1-2 hours indoor activity. Having said all of that neither of us was disappointed and from the grand opening the entire tour was really interesting and well done. The authenticity of the props and costumes really adds to the experience and the lifelike characters in the glass cases are actually a bit scary they are so real. Wall of the dead was cool too and there is enough interactive stuff to keep it mixed up. I even went so far as to buy the photographs (which is expensive) and overall really enjoyed the day. Recommended.

There is no availability for combined transport and tour tickets on the day I need. How else can I get from Belfast? Is there a separate bus?
Written 30 November 2023
Sorry, I can’t help you. I did not travel from Belfast to Banbridge by the bus. I was only on holiday in NI for a few days and travelled by car to the Outlet Centre from where I took the bus to the Studio.

Possibly. I suppose you will see the ending and that might spoil it for you .

Anyone know how much a taxi from Belfast centre costs? I know they have a travel package but don’t want to be restricted to tour times. Thanks
Written 22 December 2022
Not sure exactly, but I’d expect it’s expensive, like maybe £60+
Not easy to get to by bus. Banbridge has good bus connections with Belfast, but you’d be onto local buses to get to the Boulevard.
For ease of travelling. you’d probably be safer doing their travel package.
