- cameronrw0 contributionsBest tour i had in awhileGreat tour and hike, Biggs was very knowledgeable and personable, we went to the seven sisters water fall as well as Honeymoon waterfall, both were beautiful and fun to swim in. Pete took me to the grand etang crater lake and on the way we saw two Mona monkeys grooming each other, he stopped the bus and allowed me to hop out and take a picture. I would definitely do this tour again, 10/10 hike and tourWritten 18 August 2024

- SBSNeenah_WI0 contributionsGrenada Island TourExcellent tour! Dexter was our tour guide. He gave us alot of information about the island and sites we went to. We contacted Pete's Mystique Tours ahead of time and told them what we wanted to see on the tour and it was customized for us with a price and the hours. Highly recommend!Written 27 March 2024

- tabithaw2170 contributionsGreat experienceI debated on just taking a taxi and doing this independently but then I found out a taxi service was $140 round trip for two people from my resort. We kept the tour and I am so glad we did. Grenada is not easy for tourist to navigate. Our guides were fantastic. The views and trip through the forest was amazing!!! Swimming in the water falls was a once in a life time experience. It’s crazy. You think about hiking through the forest and then next thing you know you are in the forest. If you are reading this ahead of time, be prepared for the possibility of your shoes getting wet.Written 14 January 2024
- Stormb19060 contributionsYou'll Love the Journey aboard Pete's Mystic Tours!Peter took my wife and I on an incredible private tour of Grenada! We had a spacious passenger van all to ourselves. Peter was very professional, friendly and accommodating. He treated us like family, and his warm nature is evident throughout the tour as he drives by and greets friends and associates with a friendly honk. After doing tours for over 30yrs, Peter is very knowledgeable about the history and locations throughout Grenada. He was kind enough to accommodate a personal request and bring us to a shopping area where we were able to withdraw cash from an ATM and also purchase souvenir gifts for our family back home. On our tour we visited the Annandale Waterfall where we took some great pics behind the waterfall. We took a picture with a cute monkey on my shoulder, we saw a beautiful lake in the rainforest, we learned about all the different spices and fruit bearing plants from Grenada. Among other aspects of our tour, Peter took us to get delicious local food, and we even had a nice swim in Grand Anse beach before heading back to our resort! I highly recommend taking a tour of Grenada with Peter, you won't be disappointed!Written 4 January 2024
- 497brucem0 contributionsBooking problemThe tour was booked 7 months in advance and reconfirmed 2 weeks in advance. When we went to the meeting area we discovered the guide with a sign with someone else's name. He was unaware of our booking, even after showing him the email from Pete 2 weeks earlier. Called his office and still no record. Offered to arrange a tour with an independent cab driver at a higher price and asked me the itinerary of his advertised tour. A disappointing experience.Written 28 December 2023
- michaelaW96WH0 contributionsTime very well spent done rightShane is a great guide and there is no better driver than the Peter that we had driving us. Taxi is clean, cool, and roomy. The hike is intense. Shane helped us know where to step on the trial. It’d rained the night before and the rocks were slippery.Written 4 August 2023

- lexitnt0 contributions7 sisters half day tour. This was an excellent tour. We were elated to see the Mona monkeys and interact with them. We also were able to visit two of the water falls, which we enjoyed the hike to and from the falls. Michelle our tour guide was well versed in the sights we saw and very hospitable. She also ensured we were comfortable through the entire tour.Written 11 April 2023
- Dianeygirl0 contributionsHiking to the Seven Sister FallsOur guide was great very knowledgeable and friendly. The driving to the falls can be very scare as most of the Caribbean Islands they drive fast on very narrow roads not a fan of that but, it is what it is. The falls were beautiful and the landscape but, the hike is to get in can be challenging for children, elderly or honestly people not in shape. So many people having trouble with the trail. You go down which is sort of easy but, remember you have to come up and the trail steps to come back up are spaced inconsistently so some of them you literally are climbing back up. During when the cruise lines are in can be very busy so not as secluded or enjoyable with the amount of people. Still enjoyed the gorgeous scenery and lush mountains islandWritten 23 March 2023

What a great tour! Peter picked us up at our resort which was super convenient. For a half day tour, he packed a lot of highlights in, which was great to get out and see the island in a short period of time. He took us from the bottom to the top of the island, and we saw the Concord Falls, Jouvay Chocolate Factory, and the visitor center at Grand Etang Lake. Peter is an excellent driver on the narrow, winding roads of the island, which is important because most of the trip is spent in the car. The routes are not super direct between destinations so expect 40+ minutes in between. But Peter makes the drive part of the experience, pointing out cultural and historical landmarks, and the varied plant life along the way. He also did not rush us at each stop, allowing us to take our time and not miss anything. Because of this, our tour was closer to five and half hours, which was no problem for our group, but something to keep in mind if you have plans for later in the day. Considering you would pay 2x-3x for a similar tour booked direct from a resort, this was a fantastic value and would absolutely recommend.

We wanted to get out and see the island, but we didn't want to devote an entire day. This tour definitely was exactly what we wanted! Peter was such a great host who provided so.many insights and history of the island. Enjoyed his descriptions of how the various spices and cocoa were harvested and stopping to see the plants and trees in nature. Most impressive were Pete's driving skills in navigating the island! The roads are very narrow, have few road signs and involve multiple steep switchbacks but Peter was able to navigate the roads with ease. The waterfall was beautiful and we enjoyed jumping off of the rocks into the cool water. Be aware the locals will put on a show and jump from the highest rocks and will expect a tip for the performance. But they were very helpful in keeping us safe on the rocks so the tip was worth it for us. Finally, the tour is advertised as approximately 4 hours, but Peter allows you to take your time and ensures you have enjoyed your time before moving on to the next stop. Our tour took 5 hours, but I would say we probably spent 3 and a half hours driving, mostly. The drive just to get to the waterfall was just over an hour from Sandals, so be prepared for alot of driving. But if you are looking for a nice sampling of the island this is for you. Thank you Peter for an excellent tour!

We had a wonderful tour with Michelle. We ended up on a private tour with just us. She was a wonderful tour guide with a lot of knowledge about the islands history and plants/spices. We most enjoyed the drive through the island and learning about the things we passed. Concord waterfall is very nice although a bit crowded. Plan to have a bit of cash with you to tip any cliff jumpers while you are there and if you want any souvenirs from the shop there. The chocolate factory is small and the tour was short but informative and we enjoyed the tasting and buying chocolate from the gift shop. We unfortunately weren’t able to stop at the nutmeg factory due to Covid restrictions. On the way back, the lake was a beautiful pit stop as well. Michelle is a great and safe driver on the precarious winding and hilly roads in Grenada and we felt very safe in her car.

We were met promptly at our resort (Sandals near the airport) by Dexter, our tour guide and driver. We drove up the west coast to the cruise port where we picked up another couple with two small children. Some of the roads through rain forests had many twists and hairpin turns, many were only wide enough for 1 vehicle at a time, and in some places the road was washed out or in disrepair. Dexter proved to be an excellent driver who handled all of these situations with patience and grace, while still managing to stop and point out attractions of interest along the route! Dexter was born and raised in Grenada and shared his vast knowledge of the country’s agriculture, economy and politics with us. We made planned stops at Concord Falls, Jouvay Chocolate Factory, Grenada Nutmeg Processing Museum, and Grand Etang Lake where we posed with Mona Monkeys that live in the rainforest there! Dexter even helped pose with one of the children from the cruise family (see photo!)! It was also remarkable that Dexter knew and greeted people everywhere we went. We also made an unexpected stop to see some of Dexter’s friends prepping ingredients at an outdoor table for their national dish in honor of Grenada Independence Day which was the following day (July 7). I think the stop was unexpected for the friends too, but they warmly welcomed us and answered our questions. Most of our vacation at Sandals will be relaxing on their resort property so we wanted to also explore and learn about the beautiful island country of Grenada. Booking this tour through TripAdvisor/Viator was very easy and we very much enjoyed our informative time with Dexter!

We had Dexter as our driver who gave an amazing tour of his Country from one end to the other explaining the history, the people, the culture and of course the most wonderful fruits and spices that make up Grenada. A perfect day. A great guide.

My husband and I were the only people on the tour. Pete was our driver. He arrived promptly, was considerate, and knowledgable. Along the way, he talked about the history of the island and pointed out various plants, describing their medicinal benefits and uses in cooking. He was patient as I waited for a chance to hold a monkey. We enjoyed Concord Waterfalls and the chocolate factory and nutmeg museum tours. Grand Etang Lake itself was underwhelming, but my bonding with a Mona monkey made that part of the tour worthwhile.

We had a wonderful time touring Grenada with Joseph. He was knowledgeable and entertaining. He went above and beyond to make our trip a fantastic experience. He took us to a waterfall, chocolate factory, and a lake on top of a mountain. This trip was enhanced by Joseph's stories and his willingness to be spontaneous when a unique opportunity presented itself. Thank you to the best tour guide in Grenada. We would definitely recommend this tour and Joseph.

Taking this tour was the best decision this week. Pete went above and beyond what has been promised when we booked the tour. He loves his country and shared his love with us during the trip. The tour bus is very well maintained, Covid cleaning protocol is rigorously maintained. Pete met us at the hotel and was exactly on time. There was one more couple on the tour with plenty of space in the vehicle for 4 of us. We hit all major points of the trip. Pete is an excellent driver. It’s not easy to drive through the mountains. He did not hurry us and invested additional time at no charge to fully complete the tour. We loved everything, the island is beautiful, the waterfall is pretty (bring the towel and the swimming suite, it’s worth diving). There were almost no other tour buses at chocolate factory, and our visit went quickly and smoothly. The mountain lake is very nice. Excellent tour. Highly recommend.

Peter gave us the grand tour. First of all, this company has a website which means you can plan ahead prior to arrival. We were able to exchange emails before we flew in from the US.
On tour day, prompt pick up and away we went through St George parish. Spice tour, Anse beach, Annandale Waterfall, Grand Etang lake and national park featuring Mona monkeys; all accomplished in four hours. Peter seems to know everyone on the island and his easy going style and knowledge of island facts made for a great tour.
