Scenic ride, perfect for wildlife enthusiasts
The scenery is worth the trip alone, but the opportunities to see wildlife made the experience that much more special. Our guide Colum did a great job providing commentary throughout the trip!

      Excellent sea safari
As always an amazing trip showing the beauty of the local coastline and a beautiful interaction with a large pod of dolphins. Colm our guide was knowledgeable and his love of the area was clear.

      A good capitain
The trip was 2.5 hours, ~67 km across the ocean. A captain was really good! We saw a family of dolphins and navy seals. Unfortunately, we did not see any whales. but you should be very lacky to see a whale

      What an educational adventure!
Efficient, helpful, informative, spectacular views…. The suits kept me warm. The boat was perfectly set up for an ocean romp. I went on this trip by myself. Everyone was lovely!

      Just wonderful
A fantastic exhilarating experience- incredible scenery, and wildlife, fast boat, what more could you want? Warm waterproof clothing - ah yes-all provided. We were lucky to have bright sunny weather, but even on a cloudy day you’d be crazy to miss this trip. The pod of wild dolphins was wonderful to watch. And so many seals … would do again and again. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience!! A Dingle must do!
Absolutely incredible experience, the highlight of our trip! The views were spectacular, seeing the beautiful coastline from the water was unreal. We saw dolphins and seals. The gear they supply you with keeps you nice and warm and dry. Truly a wonderful experience and something our family will always remember and tell stories about! Our captain, Conall was fantastic, he was friendly kind and made us feel safe- we had the best time. Roslyn was so wonderful and sweet too. We did this tour the day before we got married with our families, and came back to see Roslyn the next day after our ceremony! Just truly genuinely kind and lovely people there at Dingle Sea Safari, I can’t recommend it enough!!

Fabulous time for a Group Experience!
During a recent workshop trip to Ireland in May we decided to make the trip to Dingle and it did not disappoint. Beautiful area and we had an amazing time on the water thanks to Dingle Sea Safari. Bridget and Jimmy could not have been more wonderful to work with leading up to the trip because I hired multiple boats, and had lots of questions! They took great care of us (a sizable group) and we had a gorgeous day on the water. Highly recommend this unique way to experience the coastline and magic of being on the water, and the welcoming charm and good spirit of the folks in Dingle:)

The most magical experience in a magical trip
Talk about magic! This experience was easily my favorite in a trip filled with many magical experiences, and that's saying something considering I'm afraid of large bodies of water and very nearly opted out of this. I'm so glad I didn't. Dingle Sea Safari gave us the gear to stay warm and dry during a chilly day out on the Atlantic. Our guide, Michael, was fun, informative, and an extremely accomplished seaman. We saw some amazing rock formations, we saw seals on a deserted island, and then we went out to look for seat life...and found it. My wife and I can now saw we were on this small boat in the North Atlantic and that dolphins were jumping out of the water all around us. Some were so close you could almost touch them. We saw two different species of dolphins, though we didn't see any whales. Even so, it was the kind of magical, once-in-a-lifetime experience, I had to put my phone down and not bother with pictures because I wanted to just soak it in. Do yourselves a favor and do NOT skip this while in Dingle! FYI, for those of you who are also afraid of large bodies of water, the boats are stable and sturdy and I felt very much at ease.

      Dingle Highlight
Really enjoyed the tour. Gave us great wet and warm jackets/pants and Colm the tour guide was full of knowledge. Undoubtedly the highlight was seeing a humpback whale, bottle nose dolphins and all the sealions. Would highly recommend.

A must do when in Dingle, Ireland!
OUTSTANDING! A must do when in Dingle. Jimmy Flannery and his team takes care of everything. They outfitted us with wet gear, professional Captain, quick to respond and adjust, if needed, via email. While ocean was a bit rough, we always felt 100% safe. It was a highlight of our visit to Dingle!

My second time to do this sea safari. Both very different weather & experiences. Both excellent! We saw seals and dolphins this time and stunning scenery. Sean, our guide, was very knowledgeable and fun.

What a brilliant day!! Our original trip was postponed cause of high winds and our rebooked date was in doubt for the same reason. The winds were dying and the sea was becoming calmer but was it happening quickly enough? I was impressed
That the company had sent all three of their ribs out on a dummy run and the captain messaged while we were in the office to say that they would be able to go ahead.
We donned our life jackets and met our skipper Kian, who helped us on board. Kian made us aware of the conditions, that a bit of it would be bumpy, but that as time went by the sea was calming. To be honest the bumpy bits were magic……bouncing off the waves!!
Kian was fantastic - knowledgable, friendly and checking frequently that we were ok and that he could put the foot down.
The tour was breathtaking. Fantastic coastal scenery, amazing birds, more seals than you could count and then, as we headed for home, an interaction with a pod of bottlenose dolphins…..they same right at our rib on two occasions…it was magical!!
Well worth the private hire as the rib used offers more protection from the elements and you are not competing with other families for the best view.
We were so glad this happened, highlight of our week in Kerry.

It was our first time taking this Sea Safari and it did not disappoint one bit. They very kindly booked us for a previous day since the weather on the day of our booking wasn't going to be ideal. Not to forget, our captain Jimmy was a delight to sail with. He not only make the ride exciting and fun with his banter but made sure each one of us was comfortable through and through! The lovely weather added a nice touch to our trip.

All the reviews I had read online about the Dingle Sea Safari are absolutely true as it is an experience that one shouldn't miss out on!

Brilliant experience and certainly one of the highlights of our trip to Dingle. Jimmy, our captain made everyone feel at ease and was as knowledgeable as he was friendly, bringing the trip to life, with a wealth of interesting information about the geography and history of this unique area as we drifted in and out of amazing sea caves, watched minke whales and dolphins surface beside the boat and saw a host of other wildlife including seals, red deer, puffins and many other sea birds. A great trip from start to finish.
Great team to work with also. Mary kept us informed when the trip would be possible with windows in the unseasonable weather we had that week. Would highly recommend.

    Big Expectations Surpassed.
9 of us took to the waves with Jimmy our captain, guide and local champion.
It was a foggy, atmospheric day and our most fun and uplifting experience in years!
These waters and Islands are mesmeric and elemental, imagine our joy when Jimmy the Captain was the same!
He is of Kerry, of Dingle Bay, of the Blaskets and you can hear the land and ocean speaking through him.
We laughed repeatedly as we were wowed by nature.
Best fun in years as a group, best value in decades.
    Wash Rinse Repeat...do it please.

What a great experience and we almost didn't get to go! The private safari tour with our Skipper Cian and the Mr. B was a highlight our our week in Ireland. Traveling to Dingle from Doolin and Galway we looked forward to our planned trip with the Sea Safari team. The other reviews were excellent and our tour lived up to them. We had so much fun with Cian on the boat - riding alongside dolphins, seals and puffins - so many puffins! But, we almost missed it...Thank you so much to the booking agents! They were outstanding and reached out to us proactively to let us know that the weather forecast at our scheduled time was not great and asked if we could get there sooner for our tour...not an hour early but two days early! In our case, we could adjust and obviously had a great time. But if it wasn't for the booking agents getting in touch the way they did, we would have missed it. What a responsive team and I can;t recommend the experience enough. Thank you, Thank you!

This was truly a once in a lifetime experience and I highly recommend it. Our tour guide, Jimmy, was extremely knowledgeable and fun! We went into a sea cave, learned about the geology/history of Dingle and The Blasket Islands and also got to see Puffins, Dolphins, and Seals. The wildlife was great, but to be honest we would’ve enjoyed this tour even if we didn’t see any animals. The covered, private boat was definitely worth the extra money as Jimmy was able to cater to us exclusively and gave up plenty of time to take pictures/move about the boat.

Very nice tour, where you have a super nice view of the cliffs and islands from the sea. We had Colm as Guide. He knew a lot about the special geology of the coast and about the seabirds / animals. He took his time with everything and was very patient. When we spotted dolphins and quickly went into hiding, he took extensive time to find them again. The tour is highly recommended!

What an experience! Cannot recommend dingle sea safari enough, we had the best craic with our skipper Jimmy. The boat trip was the perfect balance of history about the peninsula and surrounding islands and plenty of banter and fun!

Even as a group of Kerry locals, the breathtaking views never get old and this bucket list experience is a must do for all tourists to Kerry. We went on the dingle sea safari on a beautiful summers day in July. We were lucky enough to see dolphins and puffins on our trip.

Would highly recommend this tour, especially the private tour for larger groups. Felt very safe with COVID measures taken, all life jackets were sanitized before and after the tour and there was sanitizer on board.

The highlight of our weekend in Dingle, amazing memories - we will be back!

Jimmy and Abby provided a wonderful outing for us today. They really went above and beyond to ensure we had the best chance to view wildlife and boy did we !! We saw puffins, seals and then on the return journey we saw a rare bait bomb with dolphins, fin whales, humpbacked whales and minke whales.
Jimmy was also very knowledgeable about the geology and history of the the area. A very memorable trip and so special to have the boat to ourselves. Thank you!
