Short tour with a local view
Interesting tour that gave additional insight into the different classes on the ship through stories and exhibits. The cards each person received upon entry identified a real person on the Titanic and at the end you can discover if you made it or not. The local stories made it more relatable knowing Cobh was the last stop before the sinking. Fairly short tour with an excellent guide - doesn’t take a whole day so have some other plans ready (like maybe the ice cream truck parked outside). Worth a visit!

Gives a Different Angle on the Titanic
Having been to other Titanic museums in Southampton and Belfast, this museum gave a different angle, particularly as it concentrated on the experience of Irish people boarding at Cobh (Queenstown). The recreations of cabins on the TItanic were informative, and the tour guide was interesting to listen to.

    What a treat!
As someone who really enjoys learning about the history of the Titanic, I’ve been to a few different Titanic museums. These include Titanic Belfast, the Maritime Museum in Liverpool, and the Titanic Museum in Orlando, Florida. This museum was an absolutely wonderful addition! The guided tour was extremely informative and I really liked how we stepped outside for a small part of the tour. This is a great experience for all ages!

Recommended for those interested in Titanic
This guided tour was very well done. I appreciated learning about the passengers who boarded the Titanic from Cobh and the ones that arrived in Cobh from Southampton. I highly recommend this experience as part of your Titanic learning journey. We each received a ticket for a real life passenger from Cobh and found out at the end of the experience if he or she had survived on 15 April 1912.

    Fascinating tour
Having visited the Titanic centre in Belfast, and planning to visit the cemetery for the passengers in Halifax Nova Scotia later in the year, it was interesting to visit the White Star Line offices in Cobh as the last port of call for Titanic before that fateful crossing. It’s a small exhibition but packed full of interesting information and fascinating details of the people who joined Titanic in Cobh. A nice touch to keep interest going is that the entry ticket replicates a boarding pass with the name of one of the ill fated passengers and at the end of the tour you can find out if your namesake lived or died.

3 generation family visit Easter Sunday was great
Very well organised guided tour. More than a tour as it is an imersive experience, similar to.have been a passenger boarding RMS Titanic from Cobh on its final voyage. Online booking strongly advised

    The Titanic Experience
Being a seafarer, it was imperative that I visit the Titanic museum Cobh, Ireland - remembering that SOLAS regulations sprung from the lessons learned after this disaster. Joan was our guide and a really friendly human being who took pride in everything she showed us. Worth a visit.

Visited on a hot day middle of July and the inside was very warm even with groups of only 10 or 12. I went expecting to see loads of artifacts of the ship but really it was only one glass cabinet which eight small pieces of table wear with white star line on them and a couple of photo's plus a chair which was from the Carpathia.
The tour brings you through rooms with different themes, a mock up of a 3rd class bedroom and a 1st class cabin. A different guide gives a commentary on each area from behind a plastic screen. The sound is really poor and hard to hear as they only have a tiny 75mm speaker around their waist. One of the girls just used her voice and it was so much clearer. There is other larger speakers at roof height running engine noise and playing Irish music as the guide is trying to say her script into their tiny speaker. There are some photos on the wall from the ship and passengers, all of which I had seen in the Fr Brown collection.
Purpose made videos are played on the walls with a actor giving descriptions of aspects of the ship and what happened. I would only recommend the tour if you have no previous knowledge of the ship or her tragic end and wanted to learn something new. each entrance ticket is for a set time bought in advance and they have the name of an original passenger on it at the end of the tour you can look up the fate of that person who either died or survived the sinking.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to post this review. We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your tour. We always endeavor to take any negative commentary on board and continue to improve our experience. Here at Titanic Experience Cobh, we pride ourselves on bringing a personal touch to a familiar story. We do not rely on artifacts, instead choosing to focus on stories and information. While most of our guests love this element of our tour, we understand that not everyone will feel the same way. In fact, last year we were voted 2020 Travellers Choice Winner by TripAdvisor. We are in the top 10% of attraction worldwide ! This vote comes from reviews, ratings and saves from Travellers everywhere. Nonetheless, we are grateful for your feedback. Regards from the Titanic Crew.

If you want to watch some videos in 3 or 4 rooms, this is the tour for you. For everyone else, stay at home and watch Youtube. Tour guide was good, but ultimately apart from seeing a reproduced partial cabin, you're just watching videos. There's a better Titanic museum up the road - the Queenstown Story which feels like a proper museum with stories from Titanic, and all other maritime and emigration periods.

This could have been fine if tickets were appropriately priced, €5 would have been fine. We paid almost 40 euro for 3 adults and a kid, and that stung when we saw how poorly implemented this

The Titanic Experience was very interesting and the guide was very informative. Being at the actual spot that the ship set sail for its final voyage made it even more exciting and sad at the same time. The interactive museum room was quite educational with lots of facts and photos, etc. Worth the time!

This was a very busy visitor attraction and needs to be booked in advance as it is extremely popular. We tried to visit but were informed if we hadn't booked we could not get in that day. As it happened, we did get in later as there were numerous cancellations due to the Cobh road being closed as a result of a fire. It was worth the wait as this is the actual ticket office, departure building and pier that all Irish passengers departed from on that fateful morning in April 1912 filled with sadness at leaving home but also a sense of excitement of an fresh start in the new world. For many sadly, it wasn't to be.
We had an excellent guide who relayed the story of the Irish passengers who departed in a very informative and respectful way, giving a sense of the situation on the morning of departure from Cobh that April morning in 1912

We visited this fantastic little museum last week with 4 children ranging in age from 12 down 5. There is something for everyone to enjoy and take from the experience. We learned about the passengers and their experience on the voyage. There was interactive areas for the kids to enjoy and they had fun searching for the passenger they were to discover if they survived the trip or not. Guides so helpful and friendly too. A fun trip for all.

Visited the Titanic Experience in Cobe in early August. The exhibition is brilliant and contains lots of information not just on Titanic but on other ships & liners that frequented Cobh. The staff were really friendly and very knowledgable about all of the items on display as well as other places to go while we were in Cobh. A really enjoyable experience for all ages.

I had waited a number of years to do this tour so i managed it this weekend, I enjoyed it but felt it could have been better, couldnt fault the staff as very informative, backround music was very loud and not necessary as gentleman had to make sure to be heard over it, volume could be turned down a little. Place is very small as its the original building so i guess they have tried to do the best with it, felt there could be lots more photos of the whole interior of the Ship as it was known for its opulance. I guess a trip to Belfast might solve that. Staff were lovely .
