What to Expect
Meet your guide at Merchants Road in Galway (hotel pickup available with advanced notice) and depart on a scenic journey along the Wild Atlantic Way.

En route to the Cliffs of Moher, the tour passes through charming villages including Clarenbridge, Kinvara, Ballyvaughan, and Doolin. See medieval ruins, 16th-century castles, graveyards, and fields full of grazing ponies, cows, lambs, and sheep.

View the dramatic Atlantic coastline as you drive south along the Wild Atlantic Way, with views of Connemara and the Aran Islands.

At the Cliffs of Moher, enjoy included access to its visitor center, the Atlantic Edge, and go for a scenic hike along the cliffs at your leisure. After snapping photos and grabbing snacks at the visitor’s center, return to Galway via the Burren and the village of Lisdoonvarna, home of a famous matchmaking festival held every September.

The tour ends at the original departure or pickup point.

We got lucky and had beautiful weather, but we did pack a light rain jacket, and wore hiking/rain boots.
