Dalat has become a popular destination among mountain bikers due to its fresh mountain air and exhilarating dirt trails in a stunning natural setting. We'll meet you at Dalat airport and transfer you to your hotel. After your check-in, we transfer into the hills to the north west of the city where we embark on a scenic down-hill ride of Lang Bian Mountain, tackling some great single track with a stunning view of beautiful pine forested hills, Dankia Lake and picturesque small farms dotting the surrounding valleys.
After a short break we proceed with a couple of steep climbs, but what goes up must come down, so be prepared for some great descents as well! Those still with energy can ride back to Dalat on sealed road (7.5mi or 12 km), or if you have had enough riding for the day a vehicle awaits to transport us to Muong Thanh Resort where we overnight.
Starting our second day early, we depart the hotel quickly after breakfast and transfer to the north of Dalat for our off-road adventure along picturesque forest paths. After a fun and challenging ride through narrow and somewhat technical trails, we stop for lunch before paying a visit to the most romantic site of the city called Valley of Love.
On our third day the ride starts out easy enough but finishes with some daunting hills, so do save some energy for the end on this one. We are rewarded with fantastic views, beautiful lakes, pine forests, flower farms, country farms and a visit to a small remote Chil minority village, Sieng, beautifully situated on a ridge line.
After a well-deserved lunch break we will explore the Dalat Railway Station with an exhibit on steam locomotives, followed by a visit to a local attraction, Crazy House, where art, architecture, imagination and feelings are combined. Our last visit of the day is Bao Daoi Summer Palace which was used as a retreat by the family of last king of Vietnam. After a night of relaxation at your resort, we will transfer you to Dalat airport for your onwards journey on the fourth and last day of your tour.
We ride approximately 52mi (82km) on this moderately challenging cycling tour, and as vehicle support will not be available on certain sections, guests are advised to bring a backpack to carry water.
This 4-Day/3-Night tour includes breakfast-3, lunch-3 and dinner-3
