The whole trip is fantastic from start to finish! Claude was our tour guide on this occasion and we had a brilliant time, picked up on time from the city centre and with interesting and informative commentary all the way to our first winery stop. Each of the wineries gave a different experience and we loved getting to try so many wines! It was great to be able to purchase wines at a discounted rate, too! Claude is a fantastic guide, remembering everyone's names and making sure everyone in the group is included. The group is small enough that you can get to know the others on the tour if you want to, and there were lots of laughs! Will definitely book again on our next visit to WA!Written 14 March 2025

From pick up to drop off and everything in between it was upbeat and entertaining (educational too). Claude was terrific. A tour group of 13, he remembered everyone’s names and kept us all engaged throughout. The vineyards themselves were also fabulous. The staff/owners were so welcoming and knowledgeable/passionate about their products. What a wonderful day spent with family, it was well worth it. Incredible day out, Claude looked after us with quips from minute one. Great wine tasting made only better by the tour guide who brought light hearted fun to the day and looked after everyone (even us Irish) intently. Would recommend to anyone looking to get the most value for money and time with a business that strive to look after you and make the day seamlessly great from start to finish

This was the best wine tour I’ve been on and was an awesome way to start our stay in Western Australia. I highly recommend doing this on your first day in the region so you can purchase wine and cheese and chutneys etc, and enjoy it through the rest of your stay.
The host, Claude, was exceptional. He knew a ton, and truly went well beyond expectations for his role, which really showed us how committed he is to giving his tour guests a great experience. Also, incredibly, he memorized all of our names immediately (there were 21 of us) and never messed up. He was also funny and helped to make everyone on the tour feel like a big group of friends right away (we were actually there in many small groups and one solo traveler).
The wineries were so charming and we were able to have unlimited samples within the amount of time we were there, which was incredible- usually wine tours I’ve been on are limited to just 4-6 sample pours. So that was great because we could really get a taste of each of the varietals.
Claude had a cold bag and boxes for us in the back of the van so we could purchase things at the stops but not have to worry about keeping them safe in transit. At the first stop, I purchased the most delicious cheese that was sampled at the first stop, and I loved that I didn’t have to worry about it getting warm. We also bought some bottles of wine that were safely held in the back the whole day. At the end, Claude passed out our purchases just before we left.

It was a fantastic experience with Claude who is experienced and very friendly to all who joined the tour.
There was a pick up near the parking spot of Guildford train station around 1130am, take note of the "Out and about wine tour" minibus.
We went to 2 vineyards: Windy Creek and Heafod Glen. Both are family run and have great wine selection. The prices are crazy affordable and you'll be drunk by lunch time from all the wine tasting.
The brewery boasts craft beers and has a nice Kolsch on tap. Suggest to catch the fresh air and the sun whenever you can, and pace yourself.
End of the trip with a visit to Margaret River Chocolate, which serves good truffles and chocolates.
A very good way to explore the Swan Valley! Highly recommended.

The winery tour was amazing! We had such a fun day - the only disappointment was we couldn’t spend more time with Claude! He was an excellent guide; we wish we had more time to learn about the wines and chill out more bit overall, highly recommend!

An amazing trip out for half a day wine tour! Our driver Claude was very good, he learnt everyone’s names straight away had good knowledge of the area and made the day very special when he found out it was my birthday! Everywhere we stopped was lovely! With an amazing lunch at the abbey! A fabulous way to spend an afternoon!

AMAZING!! we had such a good time and Claude was incredible, such a jokester, made the day full of laughter (and was very knowledgeable). Linda was fantastic at meeting all our requests. and thanks to Greg our driver who took a group photo of us all at the end! Very well organised but also such a relaxing vibe, we didn't feel rushed or disappointed one bit (which can be difficult with such a large group). very grateful! Really friendly people who put their clients first. Thanks guys!

My husband, along with our son and daughter in law, recently enjoyed the Afternoon Out tour. Our host, Claude, was very knowledgeable and very fun to listen to, we had a blast!! I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in hearing about this region and the surrounding area.

Fabulous day out. Take the train to Guildford and let Claud do the rest! Very fun day out! Highly entertaining.
The wines at Windy Creek are very good value and beautiful wines. I will be ordering some more when I get home. The abbey was fabulous for wine and food. Brewery and chocolate just topped off a wonderful day
