- Wfisher210 contributions4 Roman Sauces Private Class w/Cristina was excellentCristina’s class on the four roman sauces was fantastic and she is lovely. I have taken many cooking classes over the years, several in Italy, and this was by far one of the best. Taking a private lesson was so much more enjoyable for me than being in a group of people at different levels of experience. Cristina spent time going into both the importance of ingredients and also the nuances between the preparation of the 4 sauces. I recommend coming hungry because there is a lot of food to eat! Grazie Cristina for being a wonderful host and sharing your home, olive oil, and knowledge with me. Buone Feste!Written 22 December 2024
- kristieb3360 contributionsAuthentic Roman Cooking ClassWhile visiting Italy to see our daughter who was studying abroad, I knew I wanted to take a cooking class. I hoped for a warm, authentic experience in a Roman home rather than a formal cooking school, and Cristina provided exactly that—and so much more. From the moment we arrived, we felt like guests in her gorgeous home, nestled among six olive trees, where she processes her own divine olive oil. We prepared our meal at a spacious work table and enjoyed each course in her dining room, beautifully lit by the warm glow of the Christmas tree. The entire experience was simply spectacular. Planning this activity was a priority for our trip, but after three companies failed to confirm, Cesarine made it seamless, finding us a home cooking class just 25 minutes from our hotel. With Cristina, we made homemade fettuccine, choosing one of the four classic Roman sauces, learned to trim and prepare Roman artichokes, and crafted tiramisu from scratch. Cristina also welcomed us with bruschetta and wine to start the meal. Cristina is a wonderful teacher and host. She shared so much about Roman culture while eagerly learning about life in the U.S. as well. We left with full hearts, full stomachs, and memories we’ll cherish forever. If you’re looking for a truly authentic Roman cooking experience, this is it!Written 16 December 2024

- Kbenoithake0 contributionsFun experience in RomeWe had a wonderful time with Carmelo - from the market, quick stop for coffee, prep & cooking, and most importantly eating! He was well prepared, easy to talk to, and we really enjoyed hearing about his family and his passion for cooking. His apartment was perfect for ‘’class’’, charming and comfortable.Written 16 November 2024

- Footprints7273630 contributionsDelicious diner and great evening with Roman localWe loved our experience with Cesarine. The family who welcomed us prepared typical Roman dishes. With a theme based on the autumn season, we discovered delicious and original dishes. A welcoming family, our hosts were very attentive, and we had a lot of fun chatting with them. An activity that's worth it on your trip to Rome, we warmly recommend Rosanna.Written 3 October 2024

- O2791SZlaurac0 contributionsCooking experience in RomeThis was one our favorite things that we did in Rome! The hosts were fascinating, engaging and very welcoming to us in their home. And the food that we prepared under their instruction was amazing. I highly recommend this cooking experience, it was more than a cooking class!Written 23 June 2024
- GlobeTrotting5706400 contributionsBad tourOur tour” small group street food tour” was very bad. Just one coffee and a little cheese. Anything else. The guide didn’t speak in english. And we didn’t receive the bag official Cesarine. Very expensive tour for what it offered. I didn’t recomend. Sincerly Jose Henrique Brochado.Written 10 February 2024
- tl40 contributionsAmazing TimeWe had a great time with Ofelia in Rome. She welcomed us into her home and cooked and let us participate in the pasta making! Her home was beautiful and the food and wine was great. It was a highlight of our trip and we recommend highly. We sat and talked and enjoyed our meal together :) We felt like we were friends and not people that just met. Thank you Ofelia <3Written 21 December 2023

Could not recommend more!!! 😀Written 3 November 2023
- 24glenne0 contributionsPizza in the cloudsDuring our trip to Lake Como we took the pizza and tiramisu making class. Patrizia was a wonderful host and made us really feel welcome in her beautiful home. It was high up in the hills overlooking Lake Como and even with a foggy rainy, the view was beautiful. She taught us how to make the pizza and tiramisu and then we got to eat it all. Truly a great experience and one that we'll always rememberWritten 2 November 2023
- BudhiantoW0 contributionsNot worth to pay Euro150 for 2 home made pastas and tiramisu (no recipes and using the same dough).1. The original cooking class was at Varenna, a small town where is easy for us to get to the premises. 2. one day before the class, they sent me a message that the place changed to Leco, to reach the place we had to hire taxi cost us 50 Euro to mountain side and back. 3. the contents of teaching were nothing difference to Google (which is easily for everyone to learn from, no need to join the class). I won't recommend paying Euro 150 for which we can easily get from Google.Written 13 October 2023
- josephvtv0 contributionsGive This A Pass - High Price, Low ValueThe Cesarines who conducted our cooking class were wonderful, friendly, and spoke great English. It was interesting to be invited into a private home in a residential area of Rome. However, as this was a private home, our four guests could not fit in the kitchen to cook. We did a minimal amount of cooking and the host did most of it. There were no written recipes to follow along or to take home - seemed a bit amateur. And for a price tag over $615 for 4 people, this should have been much more professional - with room for all in the kitchen. And the worst part was that we paid for all the ingredients and didn't get to take home one morsel of food! I would not recommend this tour.Written 10 October 2023
- Mobile493853802480 contributionsLocal Cooking!Laura’s cooking class was incredible!! One of the highlights of our trip to Rome. We met at the market and discussed different local foods and how to cook with them. We taste tested delicious pork. Then we went to their place where Laura had special aprons and stations set up for my husband and I to cook. She walked us through carbonara and tiramisu!! We were laughing and joking, just having the best time. Then we enjoyed a quiet romantic meal. I cannot recommend her class enough!Written 30 September 2023
