Overview
Visit Chichen Itza, Coba and Ik Kil Cenote. Visit great archaeological sites and learn all about the history of these places. Included on your tour is a professional guide and transport.
Highlights
  • Go with a guide: Ruins are often unmarked and need context
  • Swim at the secluded Ik Kil cenote: Take a break from crowded beaches
  • Admission tickets, meals, and round-trip hotel transport included
  • Small-group tour ensures a tailored experience
What to Expect
Start the tour with an early morning pickup from your Playa del Carmen hotel. Enjoy a light breakfast on the scenic drive to Chichen Itza.
On arrival, your guide provides necessary context about the often unmarked ruins. Learn more about the purposes of each ancient stone structure than you could on a self-guided tour.
Break up the day with a refreshing swim in a cenote—a cavernous sinkhole in limestone rock, full of freshwater and unique to the Yucatan.
After lunch, continue on to the ruins of Coba, a Mayan city that once covered 31 square miles (80 square kilometers.) Your guide ensures you see points of interest that most visitors miss. Climb Nohoch Mul pyramid for panoramic views of the jungle, and then relax in the air-conditioned minivan on the return trip to your hotel.

What a beautiful place with so much history!! The tour guide we had was very informative. A group of 12 of us went the day after my wedding and we all had so much fun. A great experience we will all take with us forever.

Wow! Chichen Itza, Ik Kil, and Coba were amazing. Beautiful sights and wondrous pyramids. Yes, I said pyramids. The tour guide belongs in a lecture hall. At our arrival to Ch. It. we were subjected to 1.5 HOURS of lecture on the Mayan culture/people. Wow!...More

I am sure they would pick up from Riu Playacar as we were picked up at our Playacar hotel (Iberostar) and they picked up others from various hotels in Playacar to fill the small van. Try to email them; contact info is on... More

Hello - no I wouldn’t recommend this tour as we got back to our hotel at around 7pm. It also depends on how many people on the tour and where their hotels are as to what time you will get dropped off.
