Myself and my partner attended the class. We were two of four, so it was very relaxed and informative. We prepared everything with Antonio, who is a very personal and friendly guy. He knows his craft very well, and we laughed with him a lot. Both myself and my partner had a great time, and went home feeling very full. I would have sero hesitation recommending the experience, we enjoyed every part of it :)

My wife and I had a wonderful experience in a real working kitchen. Our paella master chef was delightful and engaging. The end result of our group effort was amazing. Not sure if I will ever be able to look at paella the same way in the future now that I've had a taste of an official Valencia style paella. Hopefully I can replicate this at home. Fortunately he gave us the recipe!

Antonio was amazing. He is very knowledgeable and has a great personality. The class and lesson were great. The end dishes tasted great. We had homemade Sangria, Valencian Saled, and awesome Paella. We would highly recommend this class in cooler months.

People should be aware that this paeela class is nothing like the other classes we’ve taken in Valencia. Previous classes included an air-conditioned, spacious kitchen, and dining area, where they offered drinks appetizers, the cooking class and a dining experience. This one promised most of the same, but fell way short. Upon arrival you were greeted by a very nice and entertaining host. however you are taken upstairs to a hot kitchen with limited ventilation. After cooking your paella, you stand around the oven eating off of plates that you’re holding. There is no dining experience and at the end a piece of cheesecake is taken out in plastic to share. Previous classes included an apron, and a wooden spoon that we still have to this day. Asked if we were going to be able to keep the aprons. The host said no. Considering this class was twice the cost of other classes in Valencia, I would just go with another class. Unfortunately for us all the other classes were on holiday and I can’t help but believe that the price was increased, knowing that tourists would not know the difference in the experiences offered in the city. Since our family lives in Valencia, and we purchased this for out-of-town family, we took a chance. We won’t make the mistake again looking at the other reviews I can only believe that this was the only experience other people have had, and probably don’t know what to expect. At $600 for six people, this is the most expensive paella we’ve ever purchased.

Fabulous !! International chef Antonio was so engaging and passionate about his traditional Valencian paella is was impossible not to share his enthusiasm. With only 4 in the group we all took part in the preparation and cooking of the meal under Antonio's joyful guidance. The result was amazing! So much tastier than the expensive restaurant paella from the night before. But the best part was the stories and laughter as we shared the paella hot off the stove and straight from the pan. Gracias Chef!

An excellent, authentic paella class in the heart of Valencia’s historic old town. Pepe made the class not only very enjoyable but informative and the paella was delicious. Would recommend this as a ‘must’ for anyone visiting.

This is an excellent class, taught by professional local chefs where you learn to cook traditional Valencian paella from scratch. Not only do you get to cook paella but we also made tapas and sangria. I'd been really looking forward to enjoying authentic paella on this trip and this class went above and beyond. I highly recommend for any level of cooking experience.

It was fun learning the history of paella, and participating in the cooking process. Our instructor was full of very interesting facts.

The class was awesome! Chef Pepe was very informative and made and made sure we had a fun atmosphere. There were 9 in the group and everyone participated in making the paella and sangria. It was delicious. We learned the history of Valencia paella which was very interesting. I highly recommend choosing this Authentic Paella class!

My friend and I were vacationing in Valencia and on an impulse signed up for this class. It was one of the best times of our trip! Jose were great hosts.. fun, knowledgeable and they made you feel like everyone was part of a little family for the day. Highly recommend to anyone !

Really wonderful experience, you were all so welcoming despite the crazy circumstances of what was happening outside. We loved learning everything you had to teach us and thank you for making my 16 yr old son feel comfortable. The food was amazing, you created the best atmosphere. I treated my parents to this amazing, authentic Valencia paella cooking class and we had an absolute blast! The intimate kitchen was filled with the smells of delicious food and laughter as we cooked and learned about the history and art that is making a classic paella. We also learned how to make sangria which we will hopefully be able to replicate back in the States. Chef Sebastian kept us entertained with the history and technicality of the traditional dish and also kept our stomaches full with tasty tapas including croquettes, patatas bravas, and ensaladilla rusa throughout the experience (so make sure to come hungry and bring your appetite). Sebastian's friend, Caeser, acted as translator due to our rusty Spanish and he provided lots of laughs as well. After enjoying our yummy paella, we finished off the meal with a delightfully creamy goat cheese cheesecake that was to die for! Overall, we highly recommend booking this cooking class as it was the highlight to our Valencia visit.

This tour is one of my favorites! Jose wants you to have a memorable experience. He is knowledgeable and personable. He taught our group a lot about Valencia, the capital of the world of Paella Spain and cooking. We had a great time and would do it again. 100% recommended!!!

I booked this for my partner's birthday and they cancelled 2 days before without any explanation or suggestion for an alternative. So disappointed!
