About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- gracehF7154MW0 contributionsGreat family farm tripOur tour guide Ben was very friendly and patient. We enjoyed meeting all the different animals. Walking the alpacas was definitely a highlight and my 4yo daughter loved her pony ride. The cafe staff were friendly and it was great to be able to buy drinks and ice blocks on such a hot day. The tree playground was a hit with the kids. Only disappointment was missing out on a train ride as we were visiting after the last one ran. A great afternoon, well worth the drive.Written 9 October 2024
- RhiannonL3040 contributionsGreat family day outWe had a fantastic time at Trevena Glen Farm with our 5 and 2 year Olds. We did the personal 1 hour tour and our guide was fantastic. She answered all of our 5 year Olds questions (and there were alot) and also kept our 2 year old interested in the tour. Our kids got to pat, feed, brush, ride and hold so many different animals and loved them all. We also added a pony ride which our two year old decided she wasn't going to ride the horse. So they let our son use her ride as well. A great wholesome family place to visit.Written 8 June 2024
- Tour365464377260 contributionsWe both loved it!I took my 2 year-old grandson for a personal tour on Thursday - it was fantastic! Being so little, he often gets overlooked in big groups so one-on-one with our excellent guide was perfect! She had such wonderful patience with a toddler. Leo got to pat the donkey, feed the pigs, alpacas & goats, hold the softest sweetest chicken and brush the guinea pigs. He was most excited to see the tractor! It was a lovely morning outing - all the staff were friendly, I was impressed by the on-site cafe and the farm is well set out for kids. Too small this year for a pony ride or the treehouse so we will definitely be back. Thank you for a great day!Written 12 April 2024
- graceoP9446BC0 contributionsLovely experience!Great staff! Knowledgeable and accommodating. We’ve been there once before, and were pleasantly surprised with addition of the cafe and the tarmacked road.Written 1 April 2024
- jessiev2820 contributionsWonderful Farm experienceWhat an awesome place to visit. This is our second time. Everyone who works there is lovely and all the animals are so well looked after and spoiled. A great way to spend a Saturday or Sunday of fun with the kids. Something for both the kids and adults to enjoy. I look forward to our next visit. Highly recommend.Written 8 March 2024
- mandyleighh20230 contributionssupport this amazing family businesswith MANY things on a farm to learn and enjoy - these were enjoyed the most - Horse riding, HUGE tree house, learning about farm animals and how they are cared for, The "laughing donkey" and the process of getting our tickets and group booked was SO easy! They are busy doing a mini train track - which I HOPE will be finished soon. one thing my 4yr old noticed and he asked me on the way home - "Where the cows on the farm mommy?" The group enjoyed all the animals, playing and climbing and holding the chickens - hope to have some more animals when the train comes in and more people support this amazing family business. We NEED more places liek this for the family to go in the holidays thats for sure.Written 2 December 2023
- Coastal502196271330 contributionsAwesome 😎This is a great place to visit for school holidays and any day, we booked 1 hour personal tour for 2 adults and 2 kids, the staff are very friendly, helpful and patient, nice little cafe area, lovely coffee, special thanks Alan, he gave me the advice of which type of tour is best for age group, it’s amazing l’ll give this place 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Written 23 September 2023
- samanthasW3778OA0 contributionsFarm Tour/Horsemanship SessionEnjoyable school holiday/weekend activity to do with kids who love and enjoy patting and feeding animals. Picturesque mountain views as well. Very friendly staff and tour guide. The Horsemanship Sessions are another great activity to do over the holidays if you are a beginner and want to see if horse riding is for you.Written 6 July 2023
- beenuc20230 contributionsFarm Theme Birthday CelebrationFantastic experience for the kids and also the adults. We had a lovely time celebrating our two year old birthday with our friends. This place has opened up a cafe and the coffee was a great addition to our winter morning birthday celebration. Thank you.Written 5 June 2023
- Barry J0 contributionsHands down fantastic!Big thank you to both Liz and Susi for making our Trevena Farm adventure with our 3 year granddaughter pretty special. We booked a pony ride and an hour private tour of the farm. Our little person’s first attempt at the pony ride ended not happily but then along came Liz with her kind heart and infinite patience…next thing we knew our little girl was enjoying a ride on beautiful Thor. Then the fun really kicked up a gear with gorgeous sparkly Susi who took us on an hour long private tour to meet all the animals. Our little person and Susi had a such a wonderful rapport, was so good to see. There were loads of beautiful animals to meet, hold and feed. They all looked happy, well cared for and loved. ❤️🙏🏻 The farm is located in beautiful countryside amongst rolling hills, just lovely. And that enormous 100+ year fig tree with its treehouse/playground amongst it’s branches was just fabulous! Our visit exceeded our expectations, thank you Trevena Glen Farm.Written 19 April 2023
- phoebesscubagrandma0 contributionsA great afternoon out!We brought a group of gorgeous Intellectually Disabled adults to Trevena Glen farm and we had a fabulous day! We chose the 3hr animal tour and got to wash miniature horses, lead Alpacas and a Llama, feed Guinea pigs, rabbits, donkeys, sheep, chooks, 2 hilarious pigs (Thanks Peppa and Freckles for some great belly laughs) and had a short horse ride. Afternoon tea was included with a drink, fruit, cake and pikelets with jam. We were so lucky to have Peter for our guide. He made our guys so comfortable and they loved him. He used to be a teacher and he must have been the most fun teacher ever!) The ladies helping us with the horses we're lovely. The staff are experienced with disability, and happily chatted away with all nof us. We will definitely be back, and will be bringing our Grandkids up as well. Thanks to all at the farm. 🥰Written 5 February 2023
- joannecU3160ZD0 contributionsExcellent Activity For All AgesThis is the 2nd time I have visited the farm with my grandson who is 3. We love it, we did the 1 hour tour as this is enough with just the 2 or 3 of us. He also had the pony rides before & after the tour as he lives horses/Ponies. The tour is tailored for you which is perfect, from walking the Lama’s, spending time with the small animals & feeding the pigs. Our personal guide was Jade who was great with our grandson & very knowledgeable about all the animals. We will go again in a year or so time when he visits again. By then hopefully the cafe will be open as this will be a great addition to the farm experience.Written 6 January 2023

I recently attended to the 2hour private experience with my 3.5 year old and 12 month old daughters. Our guide was excellent with my daughters and encouraged involvement and was very knowledgeable and friendly. She even let my oldest daughter help with making up dinners for all the animals at the end of the day and we got to feed them all. We had booked a horse ride, but being my daughters first time, she was too afraid. Our guide was calm and supportive and suggested we look at the animals before maybe trying again later. My daughter enjoyed walking the alpaca and pony and cuddling the Guinea pigs. Would highly recommend for a friendly and hands on animal experience. My daughter can't stop talking about all the animals and wants to come back

They had good facilities and their morning tea was delicious!
Pete was our tour guide. He was very informative and made me feel comfortable riding a horse. It was the best morning. You can tell that they love and care for their animals!

It is always a pleasure to visit Trevena Glen Farm. The Prep children enjoy feeding and holding some of the animals. The experience with looking at the magic eggs is always great fun. Meeting Freckles and Peppa is amusing, and the children loved hearing about the antics of the two pigs. Learning about the donkey cross and what animal products are used for was enlightening. Best of all was the tractor ride while looking for things on the farm. We will defiantly be going back.
Thanks Trevena Glen.

Our trip to Trevena Glen Farm was fantastic. It was the perfect family day out. 3 adults with 5 children. We started with the horse ride for the kids, and then followed with the 1hr animal experience.
I initially booked online for myself, my husband and our daughter. My friend and their kids wants to join and Alan was more than accommodating in adding them to our booking.
We packed some sandwiches and smoothies and had a little picnic under their beautiful huge tree after the tour was finished.
Social distancing was enforced and mandatory hand washing before and after the tour.
Heaps of animals to see! And the horse ride is just the right amount of time for small children. All the animals were gentle and fun. I would absolutely not hesitate to recommend Trevena Glen Farm for a fabulous family day out.

Pony ride was the best part for the kids. They got to see so many different animals. The kids made use of the mini playground. I had booked the pony parlour, a great location for the family to eat food and have cake!

Hi there! What's the difference between the $20 Farm Animal Experience and the $120 Half-Day Tour? Will I still get to freely interact with the animals etc. with the $20 Farm Animal Experience?
